  1. Might be due to your use of UK/US conversion rate or metric system but over here 30/45 = .667 or 2/3 picks are still with the Bills. 😎
  2. And so is Spencer Brown. Coincidence?? I think not!
  3. Seen him taking his rental car through Delta Sonic, fyi he bought an Unlimited Super Kiss Pass. ...it's happening 😎
  4. Now that OBD has made their cuts and gotten the 53 man roster pretty much nailed down, wanted to see what the board thinks the personnel groups will be in various offensive formations. I used Sharps Personnel Grouping frequency to determine what our formation utilization looked like in 2021. So the following has groupings, possible personnel and usage last year: 10: 1 RB, 4WRs: Singletary, Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Crowder? Does Shakir take some plays away from slot? Bills ran this formation on 7% of downs in 2021. Do they use it more with a healthier group this year? 11 : 1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WRs: Singletary, Knox, Diggs, Davis, McKenzie. Early downs? Will they use Cook on 3rd and long and maybe use Crowder/Shakir in place of McKenzie. Bills ran this 71% of plays last year. With new OL and better run blocking does this formation see less use ? 12 : 1 RB, 2 TE, 2 WR: Moss, Knox, Sweeney/Morris, Diggs Davis. Used this on 8% of plays last year. This was primarily used in red zone and short yardage with an OL as the TE in short yardage packages. 21 : 2RB, 1TE, 2WR: Gilliam, Singletary, Knox, Diggs, Davis. The old pro set with Gilliam used as Fullback or H Back. Bills ran this on 10% of offensive plays last year. Will they use Moss and Cook as an Alternative pairing to force some LB coverage on Cook? Would require dressing 3 RBs besides Jones and Gilliam. What effect will Dorsey and Kromer have on the offensive formations philosophy in 2022?
  5. OBD used Steve Tasker as a ST only guy for his first 9 years .. we didn't complain about that
  6. By "we" are you inferring @RunJoshRun should start another thread? 😎
  7. Thanks for the list. I am not so sure OBD keeps 11 DBs on the 53 man roster as none could move to IR temporarily. I'd reduce that by one and add that spot to the Oline as you have only 8. Have to believe Mancz makes it over Van Roten and Doyle stays with the 53
  8. Soirees perhaps?
  9. No Olineman playing in 2nd quarter will make the 53
  10. It will be interesting to see the effect of McDonald on their offense. With the 49ers he had an O that was near the top in explosive plays over 20 yards. My take is Deebo and Kittle helped immensely in that regard. There are no comparable players in MIA. Kittle is an awesome in-line blocker and can split out at TE - Gesicki not so much. There is no Deebo Samuel equivalent in M IA though Hill can run the end arounds etc. To do the same in MIA Tua will need to drive the ball downfield to some swift receivers. Time will tell if he can.
  11. yes add Hart as 9th OL. OBD has always had at least 9 every year of McBeane administration
  12. My intuition re: Tre says that OBD is weighing PUP vs short term IR. Plays in week 5 if PUP and misses first 6 games and bye week if on IR (1st game vs GB at hjome then). I would prefer they shelve him as will need him in late season and post season more.
  13. Ok I am old but from the Cro-Magnon period, 3 HOFers in Starr, Namath and Stabler. From the Saban era not so much. Michael MacCorkle and Tua will be average QBs at best in this league over time.
  14. It looks doubtful imho. OBD seems to be leaning towards 2QBs, 5RB/FB, 7 WR, 8 OL and 3TEs.
  15. Baker vs our backup Dline be looking like this... https://tenor.com/R7Ku.gif
  16. Tyler Matakevich ? The two rookies LB stay then and Bills can save some cap $$$ lol just posted same
  17. LOL. The NFL has the Lambeau Leap and all it's offspring variants. The CFL has "La Routine avec la Poutine"
  18. In a related news item, the Browns have announced Desean Watson has legally changed his name to Washin DaJohnson.
  19. Passed away at 87. Lord be with you Lenny RIP 16
  20. Technically, Flutie dropped kick the ball for 3 points. Alternative to FG.
  21. One of many articles https://nypost.com/2020/05/12/sammy-watkins-details-drinking-smoking-problems-with-bills/
  22. Thanks @Limeaid! I remember hearing this and thinking why? In retrospect, three things at work here. Two about coaching and one about the long play. Sammy was out of control drinking and smoking and McBeane knew this was not part of their Process. Darby was a press man guy and didn't fit their scheme. Beane needed draft capital to get a QB in 2018
  23. Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Heated and has some synthetic IS fibers but basically Kentucky bluegrass
  24. Rod, I am starting to feel uncomfortable.
