I am Nostradamus as I was saying this in May, 12-13.5 with 30 guaranteed. He’s worth every nickel. If you thought he was good last year, get your popcorn ready over the next 4. Our chances for a Lombardi have moved from hopeful to confident. Go Bills! 🦬

Good point. JA17 is the key essential in the strictest sense, but Cook is essential for speed which we wouldn’t have otherwise. I bet JA17 considers Cook essential, just like he prolly considered Diggs essential which is why he tolerated him. JA17 and JC4 are our difference makers. Teams that win SBs usually have speed. Tom Brady could be cited as an exception, but he had the coach.
-
Yes, we are a Super Bowl contender without him, but we’d be a stronger contender with him. He is special and makes our offense even better.
-
Saquon and King Henry were essential last year to their teams, and I think Cook helped us in the W column. I think we’ll win more games with him, maybe even the Lombardi. Go Bills!!
-
Don’t you agree that he is essential to win a Lombardi
-
Cook is only guy who can take it to the house at any time. He’ll get 13.5 and 30 guaranteed, and incentives. He gonna run like a stallion this year. Go Bills!!
-
Cook increases our chances of a SB. He gets more expensive next year. A deal will be in place before game 1.
-
Head to head to head, I’d take Marino. Bills win many SBs with him. Along with his superior skills, he wouldn’t allow foolishness.
-
The question is “Do we want him beyond this year?” Of course we do. His skills are perfect for this offense. There’s nobody out there available who can do what he does. Also, I think he’ll have his best year yet. I predict he’ll get 13.5 million with incentives and 30 million guaranteed before game 1.
-
My guess is that a $12 million deal with $30 million guaranteed will get done by game 1. He knows that this team is his best chance to get a SB, and the Bills know that he is the perfect RB for this offense. If they wait a year, his price goes up.

Nice but Rough Riders would be nicer. -
Improving on last year’s D should be easy really. Bishop and Milano will be better. Rush will be better. I can’t wait to see it.

Brandon Beane "might be the most sensitive GM in the entire NFL"?

True word. If we’d had Higgins or Chase types, we’d have a Lombardi by now. -

Sorry for a question that may have addressed 50 pages ago. What about the grass? Does grass grow in December with average temps in the 30s and a gray sky. I know about the heat coils but will those make the grass grow? I think not. At Lambeau they mix in synthetic fibers. Will the Bills do the same? -

Who was that NASCAR driver who was blind? -
Agree 💯. Might wanna add a healthy Kincaid and Coleman.
-
Whether now or next, 12.5 is the number. It’s to his advantage to do now. In those 2 years that’s 25, which is better for him to get it done now. Make it 4 for 48 with 30 guaranteed. Plus, he’ll win a couple Super Bowls. Without him, the chance for a Lombardi goes down.

If Cook and Coleman make a jump that’s our ticket to the big dance. A jump by Kincade would seal the deal. I know thats a lot of ifs, but IF these don’t happen, we’ll be watching KC or the black birds.
-
Now that you put it like that, that is rarified air up there with those guys, but, but Cook has speed, wiggle and twitch that means something big can happen each time he touches the ball. Let’s revisit later.
-
If Cook makes the same jump as last year, he will enter elite territory. I say he does so.
-
They see it on the practice field and game field. We see it. The best thing for this season is to give him a contract tacked on. It will happen. Probably not 15, but will include incentives. He’s earned it. He got stronger this year, and he will be scary strong coming soon.
-
He is the 2nd best player on our team. In a year, he will cost more. Pay him the 12.5. You might say this is a bad precedent, but I don’t see that would be perceived as meeting his demands. Also, all of the other deals were only for good players. I would guess that you don’t see JC as borderline elite. I do, especially for the offense we run without a burner WR. Tack this on after this year. In 3-5 years, he won’t be in the top 20% of RB pay. Good down payment for a Lombardi. JC is two furlongs ahead of what’s in the stable.
