i can't believe people can still be so blind. poor doug got over run by marrone and rex, should have stood up for his convictions....omg. doug whaley and his guy ej ( who was not supposed to start as a rookie...ok), started his rookie year. year 2 whaley is " we're all in on ej"....however marrone new it was a losing proposition and requested a plan b. a pi$$in match ensued and orton was brought in at the last minute. after 4 games of suck, marrone yanks ej. after orton retires, marrone knows there is no plan on upgrading the position, he goes to the pegulas and asks for a little more control. realizing nothing was gonna change, he says screw this. along comes rex. and whoever sold the pegs on him to sell tickets knowing he was gonna blow up the defensive scheme, should have been shot....i digress..... whaley gets rex to understand he needs to develop ej.(that was well published) and rex soon also found that was a losing proposition. rex convinces doug to sign tyrod....whom shouldn't have posed a threat to ej. however a pi$$ing match ensues and rex wins out with starting tyrod. fast forward to the last game against the jets and whaley throws some fresh pee in the pot to try to show once again that he made the right pick and to stick it to tyrod. rex says screw this fire me. now it's painfully obvious that whaley would have run tt outta town, had not been for the new staff. this is the 3rd coach in 4 yrs all due to doug whaley's ego and subsequent Pi$$in matches over qbs. i don't know how some people,namely whoever's on wgr right and some on this board cannot see reality . unbelievable oh and btw, c.j. in the 4th, 3 years after whiffing on a project exudes ego and stubborness.

if it goes that way what a tough decision to make...take trubisky or possibly command a steep price for the pick.

i guess seeing how the qbs come off the board will give a hint as to where he'll get picked. i for one sure hope we bring him in. i'm afraid if there is a run on qbs from 12 to 32, those teams picking high in the second round could snag him.

i just think that the mg thing was another sign of incompetence....for example... you obviously know that you have no 4th round pick. why would you not have tendered mg a 4th? i don't get it....and... being one injury away from needing him. shady will probably not be here next year. hopefully they will take the opportunity to get something for him then. i can't see them paying him at this level for another year...so why wouldn't you pay the extra mil. to keep mike around this year? if shady goes down....or even if he doesn't, there's no way we are no. one in rushing this year. we will probably drop several spots. the lack of forward thinking by the gm sometimes baffles me.

i think he is gonna have success. i haven't been this excited during an offseason since probably the glory years or for a head coach since marv levy.... fan since 1973 btw. i think he will instill a professional winning culture again here. i sure hope he's running the draft.

i heard the interview and you have to look at the whole picture. frazier is teaching these guys how to work together, depend on one another, trust one another and go to war with one another. i am excited to see this defense. if we plug in a foster type, we are gonna have one serious a$$ kickin front 7! we will be inside the top ten in defense this year! as a matter of fact, if we trade down to the 15-20 area i think t.j.watt would be an excellent addition.

since you didn't say specifically round one....i say chad kelly. i don;t care if he goes on ir for a year....which would be perfect...but i want to make sure no matter what that he is in a buffalo uniform.

two trade downs to 20 would be awesome. adoree jackson would be the perfect pick there. getting him and those extra picks would be unbelievable.

if trubisky is there and we take him, i will trust that decision. if not, my pick would be foster. i was listening to rodney harrison's radio show sat. morning and he's got me sold as foster being a major impact right off the bat. if we don't do either, i'm all in on the trade down. if it's in the 20's, i'm taking tj watt. zay jones in the second and bpa with the rest. if they don't get trubisky, i hope they make sure to get chad kelly.

i'm happy that the hc has more power. the fact that dw tried to force his guy ej on the last 2 guys is probably why we're on our third coach. i'd be willing to bet if it were up to whaley tyrod would have been gone. rex was the reason he's here in the first place. i think the pegulas are making sure this hc is running his vision for this team and i for one am glad.

i will ask this question though. if they do trade up to say...5..and gave up next year's 1st...could they gain an extra pick or two this year? if that's the case and given the amount of talent and depth at positions of need this year, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. it wouldn't seem to me that trading up 5 spots would be worth a future 1st rounder. i know, the sammy deal, but that was stupid and a whole other matter. i don't think the jets will take a qb at 6. i'm also not worried about the browns trading up. i think that given their qb situation, if they draft a qb round one it has to be a day one starter and while i wouldn't take watson, i think he's the only one capable of being a day one starter and they can probably get him at 12. we can take trubisky at 10 and can afford to let him sit a year. i think tyrod will get us a good trade deal next year.....unless he gets us into the playoffs.

this is why i think we should draft him and don't care how high. if we do not take trubisky in the 1st, i hope we trade down even more than once to gain additional picks. i would not be surprised to see him go in the 3rd. if we get him , maybe he can contend for the 3rd spot with cardale, but even if we get trubisky i would take him and put him on ir for the year. i would prefer the latter.

3rd head coach...ok, i'll give you the point about "he was not allowed to hire" marrone...russ brandon rex....russ brandon sold the pegulas on rex (tickets and publicity)....oh and shortly after dw gets an extension for playing along. mc dermott...the pegulas were not gonna make the same mistake twice....and hopefully they've learned from dw's handling of the qb situation....however.... the biggest common denominator or reason that we are on our 3rd coach is because of dw's pi$$ing matches with the coaches over qbs.
