to answer the question.....by half time this sunday. we all know tyrod's come from behind percentage.

if they don't put peterman in before we go down 3 scores in la., then this staff is throwing the season away. this is a must win game. now for my tin foil hat....i can't accept that the team played so bad these past 2 weeks because they've been figured out,exposed etc. there's gotta be more going on behind the scenes. if your a rec. or olineman, how are you not outraged about a qb that''s flatout killing this teams chances. if your on defense playing your guts out and still get stuck on the field for 45, you gotta get sick of the 3 and outs. peterman is every thing tyrod is not and i expect him to see time in la. we heard about the players and coaches getting together to discuss the run game, well i'd like to be a fly on the wall in that locker room. i think this makes a lot of sense.

while i'll sign the dennison sucks petition, i will not listen to the ...oohhh they didin't use tyrod's strengths and roll him out...bla,bla,bla. well i saw tyrod leave the pocket and all i saw was him counting the shoelaces of whatever defender was in front of him, all the while someone...insert possible receiver...was and/or were doing jumping jacks somewhere but albeit in tt's field of vision. my opinion you ask?...i'm as done with the tt experiment as much as i was done with the e.j. experiment,,,only difference being that i admit to getting suckered into thinking someone could coach him up. so...done. if he lays an egg in la, our season is officially over and save me the math. the only qb on this roster capable of possibly saving this season is np. btw ,he was drafted a round before our franchise tyrod whose now in his...th year?

not to mention that there is probably no one in the fo that is even considering keeping tt next year.

thanks for making that point. how many times do you hear our guys say that it is to our advantage to keep grinding the run game and wear the opponent down as the game goes on. well, thanks to our bad qb and all the 3 and outs, that worked very well against us. if tt had brees's stats and we had the run game, everyone would be calling it a perfect plan. well, it worked against us yesterday. tyrod is just flat out not an nfl qb. a change of pace backup, sure but no way in he!! are we going anywhere with him starting. i remember all the ej,slow eyes, check down,quick to scramble points and we are seeing that 2.0. back to my original post though, i would love to know how the players collectively feel about the subject.

you can't expect a defense to be stout against a team that runs it 20 straight times and you are back on the field after constant 3 and outs. how was this defense ranked through the first 6 games and what made them drop so far so fast?

i'd love to be a fly on the wall and/or hear from someone in the know just what the players are thinking as a whole. the guys gotta be talking about it. i think the defense is laying it down because the offense can't stay on the field for more than 3 downs. i know i would be pi$$ed. it gets old working with someone that just isn't cutting it and you get tired of trying to pick up the slack. there is no way in he!! we make the playoffs with tyrod. it's plain as day how to game plan against us and given what i've seen from dennison, he's not going to be able to adjust an offensive plan to change that as long as taylor's the qb. this defense didn't just decide to be bad after the start they had. it makes me sick to think that this staff will be so hard headed as to continue down the same path at qb until we are officially out of it and the season is lost. i get it that tt is going to start next week but when they fall behind by 10 or more....which will be well before halftime and they don't put nate in, i don't think i could stomach this team any more this year. i would start nate this week and see if there's a spark. what do we have to lose? they can always put tt back in. this is getting embarrassing to be a fan of this team, which i have been for 44 yrs. now.

gotta admit i was hoping for at least a series or two.

well we may have gotten a good for the future hc, but he started out with retread coordinators and it's cost us the season....plus sticking with tt. put peterman in now!

i think the key to a jets win is opening up the pass game with the run. i think it being a short week ,i would like to see them spell shady with t. jones. i think we could get some big bursts out of this kid and i think they need to go deep early and often. i hope they don't overload shady this week because i don't think they have to. some t. jones and tolbert .....mix in the te's and shoot deep. get up early and silence the crowd.

i know this was sarcasm and i'm very grateful for the team win, but damn there are so many yards and plays that tt just does not see for some reason. there were times when he had guys wide open and plenty of time to set, but he put his head down. man, if that somehow changed he could have doubled his passing yards today. however, i am not going to complain..it was an exciting win that we really needed but if he starts seeing those open guys he's at 300 no problem. i think we get those numbers on thursday. i think the tape from this game is going to make him realize that. man win on thursday and it's on.....

getting rid of clay was a no brainer because thompson is going to pay off in spades. i said in another thread that given tt's background with dt and what they did on sunday ,i am excited to see what happens going forward. i think dt, combined with matthews and the others is going to boost this passing game beyond what any of us expected or hoped for. i think having dt on this squad can make tt a 300 yd. passer with ease on a regular basis. with dt, matthews,clay and oleary, we could turn into a nightmare. this will make our running game lethal. i am so pumped. i think we struck a whole new gear and are really going to get this offense on fire. i am so psyched!
