  1. I don’t think this is accurate. Last year we dug a hole and then beat the Chiefs, smoked the Cowboys and then beat the Dolphins final game of the season. You can tell me Dallas and Miami aren’t good, but then who is?
  2. And why do you think Allen has been beaten up 3/5 games? The last two games, how have teams played us? What is the reason they can play us that way?
  3. Im not in love with McDermott either, but your post reads as if the reason we aren’t a WR away is because of more overarching issues .i.e. McDermott. And well, he’s not going anywhere, so… If I’m wrong, tell me what else this team needs to be a Super Bowl contender? Defense has guys injured/suspended, but all are projected back at some point this season. Offense has JA, a solid OL, James Cook at RB, good TE’s, a good slot WR in Shakir, a decent young WR to play a role in the Offense with Coleman and then some guys who are decent depth.. They are missing a legitimate outside WR. And it doesn’t need to be Adams, but Adams is clearly the best (rumored) available outside WR talked about.
  4. So what is? Because WR, once healthy, is our only real glaring hole outside (perhaps) Safety. If you are of the opinion we can’t win with McDermott, then I guess there’s no point in following this team right now. As far as “Diggs jr” goes… dumb analogy. Adams can still play outside at a high level. Diggs cannot. We saw it last year when Diggs faded in Brady’s offense and, once again, did nothing against the Chiefs .. and we saw how the Texans used him, even after Collins went out and their Offense turned into dust.
  5. I wouldn’t say “nothing” This isn’t us inhaling hopium based off zero evidence We’re listed as interested by a Raiders reporter A former player with knowledge of the situation told Kay Adams to watch out for the team that rhymes with “Shmills” Davante Adams randomly decided to follow Josh Allen on IG last night Of course, none of this means it’s happening .. but there’s clearly bread crumbs out there that it might.
  6. What? Adams is a traditional outside WR. Samuel is a guy that is either always hurt and/or we can’t figure out how to use. If that’s all it takes, I’d pull the trigger yesterday. And it gets us out of the Samuel contract? Sign me up.
  7. Best member of Congress that this country has, and it’s not really close..
  8. Depends on how it plays out. Trading a ton and then inking a new long term deal.. yea, doesn’t make a ton of sense. Trading one of our second round picks and maybe a day 3 pick, for the Raiders to eat his salary and then (maybe) we rework his deal for the next year or two if he’s willing or just use him as a rental this year with no cap ramifications in the future and I’m all on board. We were supposed to have Diggs this year. Instead we now have no Diggs, his accelerated cap hit and a RD2 pick. If the Raiders eat his salary for that pick, we essentially upgraded at WR this year. Adams In 2024 >>> Diggs in 2024 We’d still have issues if we kept Diggs because he’s a slot receiver now. We don’t have a need for a slot receiver when Shakir is in the lineup. We desperately need an outside guy this year as Coleman develops and then we can either bring back Adams or go get another outside guy next year. But our defense is on track to be full strength later this season (knock on wood) and on offense, we’re missing a Davante Adams. It’s not like he’s a piece but we have multiple glaring holes. No, outside WR is the glaring hole.
  9. The best part of that “Man up for Harris” ad are the comments on the creators IG.. 90% of the comments are applause from liberal women. 10% are men laughing at it. Democrats can win elections solely on splitting the Latino vote and running up the score with unmarried white women & black women. The latter two categories are right up there with Seniors, in terms of being high propensity voters. But it’s becoming a cultural touchpoint that you are weak, if you are a man, voting Democrat. It’s not a difference of opinion, it’s that we don’t respect men who vote Dem. White men view Democrats as hating our skin color and masculinity. Latino men view Democrats as holding them down economically and hating their religion. Black men are (starting) to see that the party is run by black women, who increasingly demand that they fall in line against their interests. Until men vote with the regularity women do, Democrats can still win elections with unmarried white women and militantly loyal black women … but it’s no longer the party of the blue collar working class .. and that was the last piece that allowed men to vote blue without feeling emasculated.
  10. Tim Walz got absolutely cooked by Michael Strahan. I have to imagine nobody on this staff thought they’d get a tough interview from ABC, because they were clearly not prepared for that.
  11. What do we mean by “expensive”? Bills won’t be taking on much salary, because we can’t, so it would be picks for a cheap one year rental (unless we rework a longer deal with him). Feels like the Chiefs will be doing something similar at some point. I.e. Amari Cooper or someone.
  12. 🤣🤣🤣 How is this real!?
  13. Instagram Was at 469 for a few days and bumped up to 470 today. That follow was Josh Allen.
  14. So, from what I can gather, the Harris campaign’s plan to try to win black men, is have Obama come in and condescendingly lecture them.
  15. They looked good against the Saints, but have not been good.. at all.. through their 5-0 start. They have an elite defense and win games like we just lost vs Houston. An Andy Reid led team likely wins that game. And, in fairness, probably a Mahomes-led team.. because he would understand the necessity to get to OT and not psychotically push the ball down the field.
  16. I'm not very confident in this team right now, but a win over the Jets and a trade for Cooper or Johnson etc., and we are very much back.
  17. Tua and his wife, now Raheem Mostert’s girl… we already know where the Poyer’s stand. My hate of the Dolphins is slowly fading.
  18. We know Beane has a history of trading for guys with term on their contract, and the poster references Adams being unwilling to re-work his contract.. if I'm reading that correctly, this would be separate from the Raiders eating his salary and might indicate us wanting him to rework his deal to be part of our team beyond this year?... of which he's unwilling to take (likely) a pay cut in future year(s)? If that's the case, I could see us sending them a 2, 5 and filler in exchange for them eating salary and us reworking a deal to get Adams for this year and next. For just a rental, that doesn't seem like Beane's MO.
  19. The major issue with Florida is that a place like Tampa, in the path of constant hurricane threat, has massively increased in population. Same as areas of Georgia and South Carolina. You’re free to be mad at “climate deniers”… Not sure what you want us to do when China, India etc pollute at a far heavier level than us. But feel free to handicap poor people and destroy the American middle class because you want us to experiment with a climate agenda that may or may not have a negligible effect on climate change.
  20. So.. this was a typical hurricane. Not the apocalyptic storm we were warned of all week. Due to going overkill in response to the poor response with Helene, we’re now going to have people reference Milton next time a potentially horrific hurricane sets its sights on Florida & use it as justification to ride it out. Sure they will.. as long as the state/insurance commissioner lets them raise rates. When they don’t, that’s when large insurers pull out of areas and/or hold moratoriums on new business. Helene was the largest storm, in terms of scope, that any insurance company has seen in recent memory. Milton is the type of hurricane that’s already factored in. Any insurance company knows a Cat 3 can hit a coastal state in the Southeast at some point during the the hurricane season and they price accordingly. The major insurance rate jump we’ve seen in recent years is far more due to inflationary pressure than it is storm damage.
  21. Not necessarily .. I more look at trends. But I do care what the campaigns internal polling is telling them, especially when evidenced by their corresponding actions. Internal polling leaks have Trump looking very strong right now. And in looking at the campaigns.. The Harris campaign has completely changed their strategy and Walz is now attacking the EC a month out. Trump is either really dumb or really confident, as he’s holding a Coachella rally and MSG in his final month.
