  1. It is what it is … still early, but the Chiefs are 2 games up on the field with a relatively easy schedule. Theyll make a move for a WR at some point soon. Mahomes will get the credit as long as they keep winning. It will just be framed as “gritty”. Bye week and then only needing to win two games to get to the Super Bowl looking likely, unless the Bills or Ravens can go nuclear the rest of the way. (Not a believer in Houston or Pittsburgh).
  2. I’d like to see some of those Pickens type deep shots to Coleman in this Offense as well. Agreed with the above about the quick slants too. I can easily envision an Offense where Coleman becomes a stat monster in this Offense with Cooper occupying the defenses attention opposite him. You could see Allen’s confidence in the receivers grow exponentially in that second half as he starts to realize what he has in Kincaid-Cooper-Coleman-Shakir.
  3. Clark County data came in for Nevada and it’s not enough for Dems. They are barely up and even Jon Ralston is sounding the alarm. NC EV data looking good for Trump. GA EV shows black vote percentage dipping in recent days, and the Dems will need higher numbers than they’ve gotten so far. Nothing of note to report from MI/WI/AZ If they can keep PA EV close(ish), Trump should feel extremely confident heading into election week.
  4. Sometimes I think Trump runs the dumbest campaigns and then he goes and does something like this and I have to completely reconsider my viewpoint. Probably one of the more successful political stunts in recent memory. I can’t believe how much attention he’s gotten from this and how unhinged libs are about it.
  5. It’s wild how meh this Jets Offense is. Tons of talent at the skill positions, but a bad OL and QB that can’t move = this
  6. Can anyone predict what move the Jets will make tomorrow to save their season?
  7. Neither did Hamlin’s though
  8. First thing I thought when he got tackled short
  9. Garrett Wilson’s agent might not need to feed trade stories to Schefter after that one.
  10. Steelers trying to win this game with two pass plays.. Rollout pass to the Tight End Bomb to Pickens
  11. Pickens is absolutely absurd tonight.
  12. Who on earth is this Beanie Bishop!?
  13. If either of these two QB’s get forced off their spot, 90% chance the plays over.
  14. NFL seems to want the Jets to win this game.
  15. Refs need to blow the whistle quicker if they don’t want that to happen. Throw a flag on yourselves.
  16. Think it’s for their downfield passing attack as Pickens is about to lose his mind if things don’t change.
  17. I wonder if our 2nd & 4th plus a pick next year could get talks going? We’d still have a 1st, 2nd, two 4’s, a 5th and three 6’s. Im fine with his cap hits next year and the year after. It would be our “splash signing” a year early, with a contract that we can fit right now.
  18. Agree in totality, but for us it’s just been that we’ve been so much more depleted due to injuries than KC in the playoffs … and it’s shown up the last two times we played them. Same thing happened to CIN two years ago when they lost almost their entire OL. Chiefs have had some big injuries this season with Rice/Brown, but will absolutely trade for a WR before the deadline and manage to avoid the injuries the rest of us have had in the postseason. A massively understated part of their dynasty.
  19. Their QB is a disaster. An albatross. And is now all of that with a major injury recovery ahead of him. They’re in blow it up territory. Garrett has been a good soldier for them, but it’s probably about time they restock the cupboard and give him a chance to win. Nevermind his disgust today with the Cleveland fanbase. When I look at our team, the only thing I see missing is consistent pass rush… His contract is easily absorbed this year and then he’s under contract for two more years at heavy cap hits, but those are also two prime Garrett years.
  20. I’m honestly exhausted with KC to the point where I can’t even watch their highlights as they come across SNF. Maybe if people gave more credit to the coaching and defense, which has carried them much of the year last year and is doing so again. As I type this, Simms is doing just that, but the narrative will be all about the greatness of Mahomes, wash.. rinse.. repeat. Luckiest QB in terms of where he got drafted ever.
  21. Of the states releasing numbers, R’s are getting good news out of NC & NV in early voting raw data. Leading in NC EV. (no Clark County data in though, so it’s likely more even in NV, which is still great for R’s). Mixed bag in GA, which if traditional voting patterns continue, is good news for R’s. Are R’s cannibalizing ED vote by voting early? Or can they turn out low propensity voters + capitalize on strong registration efforts in battleground states? Do Dems have enough enthusiasm to keep up as we get closer to ED, as EV is going to be their hardcore supporters? Both questions are going to be where this race centers. R’s have some work to do in PA (if the 400k firewall is truly all Dems need / I’m skeptical of that..)
  22. They’re beginning to hate black men as much as they do white men. Black women are starting to flex on them as their matriarchal patience is wearing thin..
  23. Agreed, but Schefter puts out stories like this because someone told him to.
  24. But why is Schefter putting this out there…
