  1. Cisco seems to be a name floating around. Rapp/Cisco might be one of the more menacing Safety tandems in the NFL were Beane to make that happen. Both of those dudes won’t hesitate to obliterate someone.
  2. Exactly. It’s about as clean a swap as you can have. And Cooper is a legitimate outside WR. Not sure I can say the same about Diggs anymore. He can do it, but clearly Houston values him in the slot & he got clamped far too often outside for us when it mattered.
  3. Sounds like we’ve been in on Cooper for weeks. I 100% think this was the plan all along. Did what he could in the off-season, with what he had, knowing that if certain teams falter, there will be big time players available that we can cost acquire in-season. The fact we essentially swapped some late rounds picks and traded Diggs & a 3rd for Cooper & a 2nd is, whether planned or lucky, amazing GM’ing by Brandon Beane.
  4. What about that interview do you think appealed to the persuadable voter? Im honestly asking, as im clearly biased. She showed up 15 minutes late for an interview set to air at the top of the hour, immediately following. Her own staff hard wrapped if 4 minutes early at 26 minutes. And sure, the average voter probably doesn’t know all that, so let’s get to the content. She clearly went into the interview with a run out the clock strategy. What in there was meant to appeal to a Nikki Haley voter or true independent? Her answer on immigration was insanely bad. Zero substance. She was overly combative (which maybe you find as a Trump-like adversarial positive). She gave the same ultra-specific policy proposals on the economy that affect a super small segment of the voting public. They hard wrapped on foreign policy as her Iran answer was going off the rails. Her only real moments were going in on Trump, repeatedly and passionately, but the person that appeals to is already very likely voting for her.
  5. It’s not the greatest offense ever constructed, (they probably could use another WR if Keon isn’t ready to make plays down the field) but if Brady can’t figure out how to get this group humming with an elite QB, top tier OL, strong stable of running backs, two good tight ends and a WR room now consisting 1-5 of Cooper, Shakir, Coleman, Samuel and Hollins, then yes OC is a problem & by extension the entire setup of having a Defensive minded HC. The only way this works, is if McDermott’s Defense steps up in the Playoffs. We can talk about Offense all we want, but bottom line is aside from a weird vibes game against CIN, we know Allen is going to drag this Offense to putting up points in a big time playoff game. It’s always been the Defense .. and it can’t keep being that, especially when we have to play musical chairs at OC either because they aren’t good or are good.. both ways, they’re gone and we have to find a new coordinator.
  6. It’s comical how libs are still crying about Bret Baier’s interview of Harris. Go watch Bret with Trump.. it’s a similarly contentious interview. Just goes to show how protected Dems are by the media, that they can’t even remotely handle an adversarial interview of the person on their side seeking the highest office in the land.
  7. Someone convince me that Maxx Crosby can be classified as the LB Jordan Schultz is talking about..
  8. That can't be the plan.. Sign Rapp to a multi-year deal and then draft Bishop in RD2 to play the same position? Meanwhile the other Safety position is a competition between a Chiefs backup Safety and Damar Hamlin? Rapp is our best Safety and looks like he could follow that Hyde/Poyer path under McDermott. Maybe not to an All-Pro level, but to the point where he's a guy people overlooked but plays really well here. If we want to be the best positioned we can for the Playoffs, getting Bishop to learn on the fly next to him seems to be the move... Hamlin is a solid backup but will always be a liability, and in the playoffs, those liabilities become even more exposed.
  9. Our DL is constantly so frustrating. So much invested in terms of cap and draft capital and they just can't seem to get it right. Jones has got to start playing better. The rest of the guys have flashed (Rousseau, AJ, Von, Oliver) and it's still the constant refrain of consistency, but Jones has just been wildly meh.
  10. I don't think the Giants would, unless they want QB Draft ammo. Their DL is loaded, but it doesn't do them any good without a QB.
  11. The salary, to me, is what makes it outlandish. If we could work around that, I'd be willing to give up a lot for any of those guys... Crosby, if I was the GM, I'd need to be restrained if he was available.
  12. If the Bills make another move before the deadline, I'd think it has to be with a potential Ravens rematch in mind. We match up fine with everyone else (Chiefs, Texans, Bengals etc.) Now whether our defense actually plays to their ability when it matters is another story. Our undersized defense does not match up well with this new Ravens attack at all. And I might want to amend it and say the Texans with Mixon could be a problem as well. Tend to think any additional trade deadline move might want to be for a run stuffing DT.. because we have to keep Bernard/Williams/Johnson clean and having 5 DT's, one a sixth round rookie and the others not exactly being big plugging DT's, we might need to look and see what's available there.
  13. Ashley St Clair is a huge MAGA brand conservative and AB is basically linking with the Trump campaign both on X and with this event.
  14. And what would this ad have to do with Trump? Dr Umar has been saying stuff like this for months.
  15. Obviously Reid >> McDermott, but player wise, Chris Jones is the difference. It’s as easy to point out as he’s the reason why instead of being up 4 over KC at home with 2 minutes left, we had to trot out Bass for an ill-fated attempt to tie. He makes clutch plays like that over and over when it matters.
  16. Its honestly amazing how toxic the Dems have made it to be a white male of any age and support them. Its like they Bud Lighted themselves, but instead of paying NFL legends and UFC to repair your image, they hired the Texas A&M Yell Leaders.
