This is why you can’t judge schedules before the season starts.. Who would’ve thought the Vikings would be anything more than a cupcake for the Jets a month ago?

Data doesn’t support what you’re getting at. What data does support is that far more people live in the path of hurricanes now as opposed to years past.

Dick Cheney Voting For Harris

Probably.. but let’s say we send them a second to eat the salary.. the Bills can essentially look at this as swapping out Diggs for Adams this year and maintaining the same cap outlook moving forward. I think everyone would agree Adams is better than Diggs, so we basically upgrade there and give Allen as good a shot at winning a Super Bowl this year as he’s ever had, especially given the defense should eventually be getting everyone back. Is that worth a 2 if the Raiders were willing? To me, probably. But I’m sure other WR’s at lower price points or more term (which Beane typically wants) will eventually come available before the deadline as well.

Call Her Daddy is basically Andrew Tate for women.

Poso is such a clown. Has almost every DeSantis supporter from the primary blocked on X.

It’s not evil to criticize the government when Mayorkas says they don’t have enough money after all the documented expenditures going to illegal immigrants (and in a broader sense, foreign wars) You can say R’s should have authorized more money, but why would they authorize more taxpayer money when it seems like a Herculean effort to earmark it for actual Americans? Bottom Line.. this has not been a strong response so far. Not on any level. Hopefully they get their act together, because there’s people lives in the balance and once we get out of the search and rescue phase, it’s going to take a hell of a lot more than $750 for these people to rebuild their communities and lives.

Theres a disconnect between those on the ground in Asheville and those in desperate straits a few miles outside the city. Two very different worlds right now.
-
Everyone is thinking it, but probably not anything a well known Dem op should be saying out loud like this… (He doesn’t say the last sentence - Clay is deceptively editorializing) Still.. the Asheville vs Rural part isnt great to be saying out loud, given how high tensions are in terms of people believing help is not being delivered appropriately
-
Same as I’m hearing. Much of Asheville is passable right now and being used as a staging area. But it’s not just a few people outside Asheville that are reporting that they haven’t received help… it’s all I hear from people I know trying to get up there. Furthermore, ive heard at least two instances of citizens trying to help be blocked. I don’t know if they think these people will themselves need rescue or what the problem is, but what I’m hearing jives with some of what is being alleged.

The irony is he’s posting Chef Andres, who is a huge Harris supporter.

Its two-fold: The majority of Americans no longer trust our government or institutions Also, while there isn’t a “media blackout”, there is very clearly a lack of coverage given how horrific this has been and currently is. Anyone paying attention knows this and realizes how big of a story this should be. The level of death & destruction once we are able to get into these areas fully is going to be unimaginable. The lack of coverage, relative to the scale of the disaster, leaves space in the vacuum for conspiracy theories to arise.

I refuse to read into anything after Hopkins posted “Buffalo Soldier” and the media did the same thing. (Nah, I’m still gonna read into it though)
-
Pretty evident at this point that the federal government response to this disaster is woefully lacking. Id think both sides of the aisle can agree on this. You can still vote for Harris and admit that between Hawaii, East Palestine and WNC, something needs to change.

Exhibit A of if you’re an elected R in a deep red state or elected D in a deep blue state, you can just be as horrible as you want. Doesnt matter.

Week 5 - Bills at Texans Game Week Thread
SCBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Theres no reason Samuel should only be McKenzie in this offense. And he hasn’t even been that. The reason we say this is because our staff brought him in and has nowhere to play him given Shakir being such a good slot receiver, along with two tight ends they want on the field a decent amount. -

Well considering Samuel and Shakir are the same player & apparently can’t co-exist… Honestly not too concerned about this. Shakir is good.. he’s not so good that this should disrupt our offensive flow. Time to figure out how to use Samuel and Kincaid. -
Kirk Cousins… So happy for that guy. One of the truly good people out there.

Fwiw… I think it might be a good thing to force Samuel more into the gameplan and get Bishop on the field. -
Just got off a call and one of the guys is friends with a school principal in NC. Said the destruction and loss of life there hasn’t even begun to be known. His school is currently storing bodies. Didn’t say how many, but that it’s alot.. and growing every day. So many stories like this…
