  1. Keon needs to make the 50/50 downfield catch he made so many times at FSU & MSU. Thats what’s missing right now. Once he figures that out, the rest of his game might take off with Cooper demanding attention opposite him.
  2. The Ben Simmons of Safeties.
  3. Ray Davis has some speed, but it’s a bit interesting that Davis going downhill against the Jets Defense was likely far more effective than Cook slashing .. and in this game against their monster interior .. getting Cook to the edges might be the more effective play.
  4. And as far as the league goes for protecting QB’s… much of the unwatchable product is due to poor QB play. So I understand where they’re coming from. MNF had Allen making a few insane plays and Rodgers launching a Hail Mary. TNF had Rattler spazzing out and Bo Nix game managing in a blowout. No one wants to watch that except Broncos fans.
  5. The MNF metric is a weird point to make in all of this, when basically it means the two most watched Week 6 MNF games since 2000 were last year and this year… As far as teams fixing/finding themselves during the season… do we want parity or not? The league with a hard cap and draft set up does more for parity than any league in existence. As a result, a team like the Bills can’t afford to fix their team this offseason and has to wait for a team willing to eat salary and trade us a piece we desperately need. And it sounds like we’re not done. Chiefs were in a great spot due to their drafting and cap moves to have a pretty complete team, but long term injuries to Rice/Brown changed that. Entering the season, they might have been as close as possible to a team of yesteryear that was able to pay an elite QB, retain its pieces and build a strong roster heading into the season.
  6. Cooper unlocking Keon (if he’s ready to step up to WR2 with the opponents defense preoccupied with Cooper) is probably the second most exciting part of this trade. And would be the most impactful in terms of us getting to where we want to go. Keon making single coverage plays down the field like he did at FSU would completely change the ceiling of this offense.
  7. As long as Damar Hamlin is starting at Safety, there’s still fodder for the cannon. But in all seriousness, who thought he wouldn’t play? Even as a decoy/limited package.. we only have 4 WR’s / 5 total .. and shouldn’t just waste a call up because we released MVS immediately.
  8. He seems close … just comes down to eventually making those plays down field. If he catches the deep pass before half against AZ or the deep pass against NYJ, Allen and the staff likely call up more 50/50 shots down field for him. To date though, he’s O’fer.. and that was his calling card in college. He made catches like that for MSU & FSU quite a bit. He should be a guy Allen can throw it up to down field any time he has a one on one and think there’s a reasonable chance Keon makes the catch or draws PI. If/Once that starts happening, with Cooper opposite him, this Offense will take off.
  9. Agree with all except Brown. The personal foul was a joke and he got called for a couple formation penalties that were due to guys lining up around him wrong.
  10. For a break from polling, this is raw data we have. Theres good news for Dems if their firewall is truly 400k, but previous firewalls for them in PA have been 800k so I’m not sure why the precipitous drop when the race in PA with Trump on the ballot have been so close. They had a 1M firewall in ‘20 and barely won … but again, that was a Covid year. So they’ve revised down on what they hope to have as a buffer, but there’s uncertainly for sure. Also, R’s have gained ground in recent days. Remains to be seen if that continues or Dems push further into upping their returns to get beyond a +400k returned ballot cushion.
  11. Chuck Schumer here fraternizing with a FASCIST. We need new leadership in NY.
  12. Bob Casey siding with a fascist is why we need to elect Dave McCormick to the Senate.
  13. Harris has the Hollywood celebs and Trump has NFL/UFC athletes is basically what the influencer endorsement game is coming down to.
  14. Cisco seems to be a name floating around. Rapp/Cisco might be one of the more menacing Safety tandems in the NFL were Beane to make that happen. Both of those dudes won’t hesitate to obliterate someone.
  15. Exactly. It’s about as clean a swap as you can have. And Cooper is a legitimate outside WR. Not sure I can say the same about Diggs anymore. He can do it, but clearly Houston values him in the slot & he got clamped far too often outside for us when it mattered.
  16. Sounds like we’ve been in on Cooper for weeks. I 100% think this was the plan all along. Did what he could in the off-season, with what he had, knowing that if certain teams falter, there will be big time players available that we can cost acquire in-season. The fact we essentially swapped some late rounds picks and traded Diggs & a 3rd for Cooper & a 2nd is, whether planned or lucky, amazing GM’ing by Brandon Beane.
  17. What about that interview do you think appealed to the persuadable voter? Im honestly asking, as im clearly biased. She showed up 15 minutes late for an interview set to air at the top of the hour, immediately following. Her own staff hard wrapped if 4 minutes early at 26 minutes. And sure, the average voter probably doesn’t know all that, so let’s get to the content. She clearly went into the interview with a run out the clock strategy. What in there was meant to appeal to a Nikki Haley voter or true independent? Her answer on immigration was insanely bad. Zero substance. She was overly combative (which maybe you find as a Trump-like adversarial positive). She gave the same ultra-specific policy proposals on the economy that affect a super small segment of the voting public. They hard wrapped on foreign policy as her Iran answer was going off the rails. Her only real moments were going in on Trump, repeatedly and passionately, but the person that appeals to is already very likely voting for her.
  18. It’s not the greatest offense ever constructed, (they probably could use another WR if Keon isn’t ready to make plays down the field) but if Brady can’t figure out how to get this group humming with an elite QB, top tier OL, strong stable of running backs, two good tight ends and a WR room now consisting 1-5 of Cooper, Shakir, Coleman, Samuel and Hollins, then yes OC is a problem & by extension the entire setup of having a Defensive minded HC. The only way this works, is if McDermott’s Defense steps up in the Playoffs. We can talk about Offense all we want, but bottom line is aside from a weird vibes game against CIN, we know Allen is going to drag this Offense to putting up points in a big time playoff game. It’s always been the Defense .. and it can’t keep being that, especially when we have to play musical chairs at OC either because they aren’t good or are good.. both ways, they’re gone and we have to find a new coordinator.
  19. It’s comical how libs are still crying about Bret Baier’s interview of Harris. Go watch Bret with Trump.. it’s a similarly contentious interview. Just goes to show how protected Dems are by the media, that they can’t even remotely handle an adversarial interview of the person on their side seeking the highest office in the land.
  20. Someone convince me that Maxx Crosby can be classified as the LB Jordan Schultz is talking about..
