I honestly think Beane is a good drafter. We have had two critical issues in the postseason, outside coaching.. Big time injuries on the defense and a fundamental lack of investment at WR. The defense will, potentially, get everyone back at some point this season. The offense can salvaged by adding a legitimate WR to this room via trade. It would be great to have that 2 from the Diggs trade, but you can’t just throw away a season for a draft pick.

Josh isn’t overrated, but his deep ball is atrocious and it’s a problem he needs to correct or it will always hold us back. Hit Kincaid early for a TD and this might be an entirely different game .. both from the score standpoint and the threat downfield.

Brady won’t throw on first down with Allen and we think he’s gonna let Trubisky throw there? That said.. I completely agree with you.

We can clown McDermott for his end game decision making, but honestly anything around 65, I think Fairbairn is making there. Hes that good and game winning adrenaline seems to be a thing for some kickers. This game was lost when our Offense wasted a down (that likely would be wasted anyway) with a Cook giveaway run before Allen came in. Followed by two plays of no separation and no plan. Back shoulder to Cook? I mean, what are we doing.. Go up 4 and it’s game over. Without Nico Collins, our defense had Stroud in a chokehold. Game was lost after that possession, once the Texans flipped the field with an elite kicker. We needed a 3 and out from the defense and are asking so much from an injured unit in a game where they dominated in the second half and gave our Offense every chance to win, even win comfortably.

McDermott has the hottest seat nationally for a coach who’s safe internally. Analysts and pundits calling for his head all over social media right now. On the outside looking in, it’s believed he is the biggest reason we are stuck playing second fiddle to the Chiefs and are constantly being dealt mind-numbing end game losses.

We’re pretty much reeling as well. Going to be two desperate teams.

First place on the line for the division next week. Jets aren’t all that good, but can you tell us how we’re going to score more than 20 points, if needed, against that Defense?

Maybe McDermott is safe internally, but it’s going to heat up nationally big time if they don’t course correct soon.

In the second half, without Nico Collins, our Defense had the Texans in a chokehold. Gave our Offense the ball at the 12, down 3, mid-4th quarter. And our Offense responded with 20 points all game. Second week in a row where I can’t even stand to look at Brady’s face.

Valid points, but it’s hard to see the bright side over the course of a long season when they are so limited at WR and the OC seems very much over his head. That can obviously change by simply not calling first down runs every time and trading for a WR, but neither are givens.

If they can’t figure out how to use Kincaid, move him for a piece that they will use. I know they won’t, but he’s literally just Dawson Knox out there. We already have a Dawson Knox.

We have serious limitations personnel wise right now. On defense, with injuries/suspension and on offense due to front office neglect of the WR room. All that said.. Joe Brady is a huge problem right now. He never seems to dial up a cute play at the right time - it’s always blown up and he is killing us with the constant first down runs.

Yup. And just like in the Chiefs game, the play was there. Dawkins just gets big boyed into Allen in a pivotal moment that is instrumental to the loss in the finals seconds.

They either needed to commit to running it 3x, which given Brady’s predictable run obsession, doesn’t seem to difficult to convince him of or they had to get a first down. Or an elite punt with good coverage. None of that happened.

Hot start but gets figured out. Granted, he has less to work with, but his playcalling is so unbelievably predictable. He sunk any chance against Baltimore with the worst playcall I’ve ever seen and is obsessed with putting Allen and the Offense in 2nd and long at multiple points in a drive with his first down run obsession. This loss is squarely on Brady and the Offense, with (tell me if you’ve heard this before…) a defense giving the team every chance to win it as they are held together by duct tape during the regular season.

We don’t have a ton to work with but Brady is a disaster and this loss is 100% on him with his predictable run obsession.

Got beat by the same play they ran to beat the same blitz earlier in the game.

Hey Brady .. maybe stop running it EVERY first down and you wouldn’t put your QB under duress every drive.

Kincaid is a luxury on a team with functioning WR’s. Getting really tough to view that draft pick in any lens other than gross given what we’re seeing out there right now.

This is so much worse than Baltimore. At least we match up poorly with Baltimore. This is us being dominated by a team we’re built to play against. Injuries, whatever .. no excuse to be this bad.

Petition to give us this officiating crew next week.

Not letting Rodgers throw on 4th down is certainly a choice.
