  1. If either of these two QB’s get forced off their spot, 90% chance the plays over.
  2. NFL seems to want the Jets to win this game.
  3. Refs need to blow the whistle quicker if they don’t want that to happen. Throw a flag on yourselves.
  4. Think it’s for their downfield passing attack as Pickens is about to lose his mind if things don’t change.
  5. I wonder if our 2nd & 4th plus a pick next year could get talks going? We’d still have a 1st, 2nd, two 4’s, a 5th and three 6’s. Im fine with his cap hits next year and the year after. It would be our “splash signing” a year early, with a contract that we can fit right now.
  6. Agree in totality, but for us it’s just been that we’ve been so much more depleted due to injuries than KC in the playoffs … and it’s shown up the last two times we played them. Same thing happened to CIN two years ago when they lost almost their entire OL. Chiefs have had some big injuries this season with Rice/Brown, but will absolutely trade for a WR before the deadline and manage to avoid the injuries the rest of us have had in the postseason. A massively understated part of their dynasty.
  7. Their QB is a disaster. An albatross. And is now all of that with a major injury recovery ahead of him. They’re in blow it up territory. Garrett has been a good soldier for them, but it’s probably about time they restock the cupboard and give him a chance to win. Nevermind his disgust today with the Cleveland fanbase. When I look at our team, the only thing I see missing is consistent pass rush… His contract is easily absorbed this year and then he’s under contract for two more years at heavy cap hits, but those are also two prime Garrett years.
  8. I’m honestly exhausted with KC to the point where I can’t even watch their highlights as they come across SNF. Maybe if people gave more credit to the coaching and defense, which has carried them much of the year last year and is doing so again. As I type this, Simms is doing just that, but the narrative will be all about the greatness of Mahomes, wash.. rinse.. repeat. Luckiest QB in terms of where he got drafted ever.
  9. Of the states releasing numbers, R’s are getting good news out of NC & NV in early voting raw data. Leading in NC EV. (no Clark County data in though, so it’s likely more even in NV, which is still great for R’s). Mixed bag in GA, which if traditional voting patterns continue, is good news for R’s. Are R’s cannibalizing ED vote by voting early? Or can they turn out low propensity voters + capitalize on strong registration efforts in battleground states? Do Dems have enough enthusiasm to keep up as we get closer to ED, as EV is going to be their hardcore supporters? Both questions are going to be where this race centers. R’s have some work to do in PA (if the 400k firewall is truly all Dems need / I’m skeptical of that..)
  10. They’re beginning to hate black men as much as they do white men. Black women are starting to flex on them as their matriarchal patience is wearing thin..
  11. Agreed, but Schefter puts out stories like this because someone told him to.
  12. But why is Schefter putting this out there…
  13. NC R’s just overtook Dems in EV. I agree with the above that PA is likely the entire game, but this election is so bizarre. A non-insignificant number of Chamber of Commerce type R’s voting for Harris. Canceled out by RFK/Tulsi Dems voting for Trump. Independents, we’ll see how they break. Mayor of a Muslim majority city in Michigan endorses Trump. Georgia early vote turnout is bonkers high in both red & blue areas.
  14. I expect black men to vote for their interests. Asian men to do the same. Latino men, vote for the party you believe is best for you. Single women voting on abortion & pro-girl boss messaging .. I get it. I honestly do, and R’s don’t exactly do a ton to message to them. But white men, especially millennials & Gen Z, who did nothing to bring on the scorn of the Democrat Party and its constant anti-white, anti-masculine messaging need to stand up for themselves as well. I’m glad we finally are. This mother just voted against her sons interests and is using him to validate her own beliefs.
  15. Why do they do this though?
  16. They did it with DeSantis, when they were worried about him. Now that they’ve done it so much with Trump that it’s lost any effectiveness, they’re writing think piece articles and having their influencers tell us that a vote for Trump is a vote for President JD Vance and he’s ackshually way worse.. Seems they stopped that though, once they realized that a lot of reluctant Trump voters are actually hoping for Vance to be the pseudo, or actual, President.
  17. It seems both sides have positives they’re taking away from early voting. Dems are showing up as they always do, so any worry of low enthusiasm (at least in early voting) has been dampened. R’s have stepped up their early vote game to, at least, not be in huge deficits as we get closer to election week. In Georgia, the early vote turnout in Trump areas is up as well. In PA, Dems are trying to get to a 400k-500k absentee ballot firewall, and are off to a good start, but R’s are outpacing them in registrations in recent weeks and the absentee ballot return rate disparity has started to dip in the past few days. We’ll see what happens Monday when the last large batch of absentee ballots before the election come in.
  18. Josh Allen will always go the Patrick Mahomes route as a face of the NFL in not acknowledging political matters (as he probably should), but I would pay large amounts of money to see the liberal portion of our fanbase react to him liking a Trump post.
  19. What a weird thing to report… Its obvious that the strategy is to mock Trump to try to get him out of his current strategy that involves friendly media, podcasts and rallies. Thats the entire goal of these bait posts from left leaning outlets, influencers and Kamala Harris herself.
  20. Not sure if she didn’t understand what was said, but there’s a lot of vocal Christians sitting this election out…. This is how you get them to reluctantly vote Trump
  21. I like Rousseau more than Karlaftis. He doesn’t have a Chris Jones to play off of.
  22. I’m definitely dreaming here, as I’d be shocked if he’s traded, but if Crosby forces his way out, what teams can take on that cap hit in-season? Not too many he’d be willing to go to, outside of Detroit… which obviously seems like a logical spot.
  23. Even if he’s frustrating at times, picking up the option is still a no-brainer. Hes extremely cheap, even on the option, for what he is.
  24. I’m at the point where I’d be more than willing to trade him in a package for a proven pass rusher. His run defense is elite, but in terms of rushing the passer, he’s basically AJ Epenesa. Gives you some games where you think it finally clicked and then ghosts for a month. If we ever have a chance, in season or off season to bring in Crosby or Garrett, I’d have to think Rousseau and a 1st could be enough for them to listen.
