An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
SCBills replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesnt even matter if they have prime Butker, McVay knew the deal.. don’t give it back to Allen up 6. McDermott made the right decision accepting the penalty and then played his typical 3rd and long rally to the ball defense, which makes me think he truly didn’t understand what McVay was always going to do. -
Chargers feel good enough to keep it close, but never make the plays they need to make to beat the Chiefs. Hope to be wrong, but missing wide open TD’s and constantly punting from the 50 isn’t gonna do it.

Only Mahomes can throw to a wide open WR - Collinsworth

Bills only had 9 players on the field for the final punt

Lol.. of course. Honestly, this truly feels like our recent playoff losses, so maybe they got it out of their system.- 117 replies

Quentin Johnston is a hilarious WR Catches that, but ends the game on a wide open drop last week

12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread

This is true. Goff is a system guy, and the Lions system can avalanche on you, but Goff isn’t Stafford. Stafford has Super Bowl/Elite QB DNA.. He’s capable of going toe to toe with Allen & Mahomes. As he showed today. -
Yea… this is Josh Allen’s Offense. Brady calls plays, and is good at it, but whoever comes in will run JA’s Offense. But McDermott needs to show there’s upside to having a Defensive HC, because this isn’t fair to Allen right now.

Positives… Allen and this Offense are absolutely nuclear when they need to be and still get back Coleman and Kincaid. Josh Allen is easily the best player in the league (and has been for a minute) Bills Defense (and McDermott) have a prime opportunity to show us that “Playoff McDermott and his soft Defense” isn’t inevitable by getting back in the saddle and stepping up against Detroit next weekend. -
McD will be the scapegoat to hide the real issue this week

You can’t have a defensive HC in the modern NFL and then excuse away his defense being a liability in big moments all the time. We’re losing Brady soon, and will probably lose the next guy… there has to be an upside to dealing with that.- 159 replies

I want, so bad, to be wrong about McDermott. His culture is amazing and he’s a genuinely awesome person. After Josh Allen, Sean McDermott would the best most emotional I get seeing win a Super Bowl… But everyone knows that this is the fear in the playoffs.. and it’s a fear for a reason. -

Nah, this isnt even Bills fans being overly critical, McDermott has reached the point where his defense and decision making in big moments is a topic of conversation on football shows and in the football community. He’s getting absolutely torched on X right now, and justifiably so. This can’t keep happening. -

This game drove a stake through my heart in terms of postseason confidence We have the best player in the NFL, and this is what we have to deal with in the big moments every year Taking the penalty is the right move, I assumed because he knew they’d go for it, but then you don’t play McD’s typical 3rd and long rally to the ball defense after that Even with the defense collapse today, Allen still willed us to a chance to be down 2, with 3 timeouts, needing one stop… you cannot, under any circumstances, blow a TO there… I honestly cannot believe what I just witnessed. That should be obvious to a JV coach, let alone an NFL HC -

Defense spotted us two turnovers, one being a pick six. We don’t have an elite defense. They’re average to above average depending on the game. Our MVP caliber QB needs to not be awful. That’s it, that’s all. -

Lamar Jackson is elite in the regular season. Just doesn’t show up in the playoffs. -

We talk about slow starts of Offense, but alot of it is on the players. Coleman TD turns into an INT last week. Allen misses Kincaid on a wide open TD turns into turnover on downs. -

Allen just has to hit that. It is what it is. Difference between putting the Colts in a massive hole and letting them right back in it. -
I don’t think Democrats have any idea how sick and tired Americans are of DEI, “woke”, trans etc.. Suburban women especially.. the evidence is right there in places like Loudoun County. Democrats thought abortion would supersede all other issues for women, but it turns out people are starting to get used to it being a states issue and moving forward, this will largely be taken off the table at the federal level should Republicans continue Trump’s view on the issue.
