  1. Big “drain the swamp” fan? Did you vote for Trump to come in and “take down the deep state”? No, of course you didn’t. You didn’t care under Biden and you only care now because it’s politically expedient.
  2. RGIII chimes in.. for whatever that’s worth.
  3. This is, obviously, crazy .. but what happens? Mainstream media ignores it because it makes Democrats look bad and then nothing happens after an investigation? It will live on Fox and in podcast circles, but forgive me if I currently believe that’s the extent of this.
  4. Shane Gillis has a ton of political commentary in his comedy, but it’s funny because he can poke fun at Trump without coming across like it’s from a place of seething hatred and resentment. Says a lot that team blue leftists hate him, when he truly attacks all sides, simply because he isn’t an HR hall monitor comedian. Same goes for Tim Dillon. Who’s podcast takes searing political jabs at everyone .. but because he doesn’t despise conservatives or Trump, he’s “alt-right”.
  5. Politics is so tribal.. hilarious stuff actually. Watching libs switch places with QAnon when it comes to Epstein/Child Trafficking simply because Trump’s Administration is now in charge of the files. Not a peep about this prior, when their team had the ability to release everything, but now there are secrets and clues all around us.
  6. I think the only guys I’d be money on becoming superstars this year are Spencer Brown, James Cook and Dalton Kincaid. As @HappyDays points out above, Spencer Brown is a notch below Lane Johnson & Penei Sewell, with Lane himself talking up Brown as one of the young studs of that position. He was incredibly raw coming out of college and has made a jump every recent year as a pro. If he makes another one, he’s in that caliber of RT that could be considered a weapon. Kincaid has the traits to be a star tight end. 1) He has to stay healthy as injuries torpedoed him last season and rendered him pretty much mediocre with a drop to end the season. 2) He and Allen need to get on the same page. If they do, he was open quite a few times for big plays down the field. Cook, if used more in the passing game and shows some semblance of increased pass blocking ability, becomes Alvin Kamara in his prime. I don’t think that hyperbole. We know he can catch and run routes, we know he’s a top tier runner, but his inability to pass block has hindered his usage in that area. I think we’d all consider Kamara in his prime a superstar, so with Cook it’s up to him with his pass blocking and up to Brady/McDermott on usage. I think McGovern and Torrence are both Top 5-10 at their position potential, but maybe a notch below the top guys, with Dawkins Top 5 but as at his age/development, pretty much at his prime. Quite a few WR2 potential guys in Coleman, Palmer, Shakir and a dark horse in Moore, but not sure I see any WR1 guys yet. On Defense, I think guys like Benford, Rousseau, Bosa, Oliver, Bernard, Milano and Johnson all have high end potential but for various reason, I don’t see superstar ability aside from maybe Rousseau if he still has another jump to make (very possible) and Bosa, if he can stay healthy. That would leave the rookies, and of them, Hairston & Sanders have superstar traits.. but are rookies.
  7. My guess is that a lot of big power players are implicated both sides of aisle politically & non-political.. But not so much in the sense that they were sleeping with underage women. More so that they hung in the same circles as Epstein. Therefore, they will show up in plenty of documents by association. Court of public opinion means “interpreted by morons”. Would I like them to release it all? Yes. Do I think the reason it hasn’t been is because it results in absolute chaos? Also yes. Dems playing chicken with Trump on this right now because they don’t actually think he’ll release anything damning to anyone on either side of the aisle, because he’d have to cut off his nose to spite his face.
  8. Trying to frame the biggest corporate shill as a victim of other corporate shills is comical.
  9. Completely agree with all of this. Sanders did play on a very talented South Carolina DL, but it’s not like he’s going to be the focal point here … Throw him in on a pass rush line of Bosa - Sanders - Oliver - Rousseau and we could finally have closers out there.
  10. If Trump was involved with Epstein and underage girls, by all means.. I’m here for a JD Vance Presidency. I far prefer him to Trump. But this follows a similar pattern thus far and even outlets like WaPo have voiced concerns. WSJ better produce some corroboration and evidence or they’re about to get yeeted into the sun.
  11. If I’m him, the issue wouldn’t be about A&M pay vs NFL pay, starting your second contract clock etc.. A&M could make it close enough if he truly doesn’t want to play for the Bengals. The bigger issue he should take into account is how the NFL owners will treat him in the future if he does this.
  12. Potential to be a game wrecker pass rusher from the interior with surprisingly stout run defense for his size. We’ll see how it translates, but the Bills wanted him bad, and jumped the 49ers to get him for a reason.
  13. They need actual corroboration and evidence. They wouldn’t show this supposed letter to WH counsel and said it’s not in their possession. The media has completely owned itself over and over trying to take down Trump and if this is the story, seriously f**k the WSJ. They better have more than what is being put out there right now. Im quite sure Trump is a creep who ran in some circles with Epstein, but that doesn’t mean he went after underage girls and any tacit alleging by a media outlet that he did better be a stone cold lock.
  14. Good.. I’m sick of seeing ads for a lib coping hour played nonstop during football season.
  15. Bengals folks had been hearing there’s been somewhat positive momentum on a Hendrickson deal. Have to wonder if this changes anything.
  16. TJ Watt is the type of elite player who can shake free. Older, coming off a year where people wonder if he’s lost a step. Still gets this contract. If you want a difference maker, you better draft one.
  17. Playing injury roulette makes that a possibility but Von, post-injury, was never the force Bosa looked in the Playoffs just a few months ago when he was finally somewhat healthy.
  18. Send back Curtis Samuel in the trade and then move AJE gets us around what we need. No idea if WAS would want, or even accept Samuel, as part of the trade, but those are two - seemingly - expendable guys that (if traded) move enough salary to afford McLaurin this year.
  19. I suppose we could send back say, Epenesa, Samuel etc in a deal, to somewhat wash out the money. No idea of Washington would want either of them and they’d probably ask for Cook if we went that route. But I don’t have much interest in handing a 30 year old WR a massive extension. And is pointed out above.. if it lingers, I could see trade deadline interest, but Beane is going to want to see Coleman, Palmer, Shakir, Kincaid and Knox out there as 5 likely long term investments before he makes a massive move at the receiver position.
  20. So much doom and gloom about our defense.. Im not willing to entertain that because with all they invested on that side of the ball, while basically telling Josh Allen he can have a good OL and then figure it out.. they better be good. TJ Sanders is easily, from a talent/potential perspective, right there with Ed Oliver as best interior DT we’ve had in years & other teams invest RD1 picks at CB and expect them to start and be solid out the gate. Just because Elam didn’t work out doesn’t mean Hairston will be a disaster too. We had nothing behind Oliver/Jones last year and Rasul Douglas was a liability. Just get Bosa to Week 1 healthy and the schedule softens up after Baltimore until we get back Hoecht & Ogunjobi. Hes not Von post-ACL washed .. he’s fragile, but when healthy, he’s a legit DE1 playmaker. Epenesa is fine as a DE3 if that’s what he needs to be with Rousseau & Bosa ahead of him, until a Jackson emerges or we get Hoecht back.
