  1. Some interesting quotes in this article from Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams about Green Bay and their cold games. Talks about the pass rush slowing down in cold games... the pain, the dexterity, and that between 32 to 10 degrees.. not much of a difference. Under 10 degrees is noticeable. https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/news/packers-qb-aaron-rodgers-embraces-cold-forecast-for-sunday-vs-vikings
  2. Yup. -4 degrees on Wednesday in Green Bay. The NFL would be ecstatic with those optics on tv.
  3. I'm in my 30's, unvaccinated, and would have zero issue flying up for a night playoff game in sub-zero temps. It's anecdotal, but I have to imagine that the unvaxxed Bills fan skews younger and are those that would be much more willing to go to this game, at night, in the cold.
  4. Purely speculation, but I’d have to imagine the cross-section of unvaccinated and willing to go to a packed playoff night game in subzero temps is pretty large. Myself included.
  5. The cold is obviously the variable, however the vaccine requirements limit the ability to backfill the crowd with people purchasing the available tickets. It’s not a huge number, but it’s likely enough to get this to a sell-out.
  6. Cold, Covid and Vaccination Requirements
  7. Really annoying to see this. It’s of our own doing. Obviously we wouldn’t have a dome now anyway, but since we’re not getting one, this will continue to be an issue. As well as vax requirements that likely isn’t a huge number, but could be the difference between this and a sell out - I know it took the option for myself and a few others to fly up for the game off the table.
  8. The team knows this is Big Ben's last ride, and they've been given a second chance. It's going to take the defense playing great, specifically TJ Watt terrorizing Mahomes, as well as Big Ben having a throwback game with Claypool, Johnson, Freiermuth and Harris all coming through for him.
  9. It wouldn't make you view it any differently if he comes back, and our coaches obviously - at that point - want him back? That right there would tell me everything I need to know.
  10. Wouldn't be signed due to his ability as a pass rusher. Depth and very good at defending the run. Also would be nice to get a look to see if he makes sense to add to the roster next year as a rotational DE. We did the same with Stills last year. Never played. Gave us depth. Clearly didn't impress given all our WR's were injured in the playoffs and he never saw the field or came back for this season.
  11. I’m definitely someone that struggles to give our Defense a ton of credit given the opponents we’ve faced, but that was dominant no matter how you slice it yesterday. Our DL is starting to show flashes down the stretch. If they can start getting consistent pressure that periodically gets home - that’s a game changer, and one that could carry this team through the Playoffs into the Super Bowl. Oliver and Phillips specifically have been flashing in the middle of this DL.
  12. That one throw down the hashes to Davis that basically defied the law of physics was pretty much all the evidence one needs of the wind effect.
  13. I think Allen will be running the ball a lot regardless of weather. Now that it’s the Playoffs, he’s going to likely be unleashed. They clearly told him to not run yesterday, but when he did, it wasn’t a coincidence that we scored. Im on record saying we need to get him a legitimate run game this off-season so he’s not the primary running focus in the regular season, but come Playoffs, all bets are off. Let Josh Allen be Josh Allen.
  14. I am so unbelievably tired of hearing about wind every game.
  15. What a pathetic performance. They got up 10-0 and shut it down. Now we have a game.
  16. Cool garbage vanilla game plan where we now have a close one. Good stuff.
  17. Was excited for the chaos of this until I realized the Chiefs now have a cakewalk to the 2nd Round. Cool…
  18. Def a good point. Even if we have to go to KC, could certainly see us winning that and then Tennessee losing to whoever they play, thus giving us the AFC CG at home.
  19. Looks like we’re the 3 seed if we win, given how Cinci is laying down. With a WC win, can’t lie… I’d rather be the 4 and play Tennessee than the 3 and most likely KC. Probably just scar tissue from last year talking, but was hoping to see them, if we see them, in the Championship Game.
  20. That’s not what I’m alluding to. I’m pointing out that he’s still had his weather struggles, and that is what is likely engrained in someone who would rank him 7.
  21. It hasn’t even been Mahomes. It’s been Denver vs Denver. Two dropped picks that both ended up in KC points, plus a fumble return for a TD when they were getting at least 3.
  22. Only difference between this game and Allen’s 3 pick game is that Denver is dropping picks. At least 2 of Allen’s were tipped.
