IF we lose tomorrow, I’d rather not face the Chargers in the WC if we are facing Cinci & KC both on the road potentially. Especially with the Chargers getting Bosa and Slater back. That might be as difficult a run to the Super Bowl as possible. So.. whatever prevents that. I played around a bit with the machine and if the Ravens win today and Chargers win next week … there’s not much of a chance we play them. Some here saying a Ravens loss bumps them up to 5 potentially. Not sure if the Chargers will be super motivated next week … I think they do have seeding on the line no matter what. Would like the Ravens to have something to play the Bengals for, just in case we don’t take care of business tomorrow night.

Id bet they’ll turn it up in the playoffs, but they aren’t as good as last year. Their defense is somehow worse and the loss of Hill is real.

Especially when they already lost a pick due to tampering.

Dolphins went all in on their future to go for it this year … yeesh. Chubb trade looks like a disaster right now.

Zero injuries… Their best corner went down earlier this season. They just lost their starting RT for the year. They’ve started the same 5 all year until now. Both their starting DE’s are banged up. One playing with a broken wrist and the other a game time decision with a calf injury.

Why is it an “uphill battle”? Basically a 50/50 game between two good teams.

Have had people text me last week, now today .. “Chiefs in trouble!” Ha.. ok… they will get bailed out against bad teams like always. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

NFL is so popular they can get away with it, but at some point people will tune out when games look like they’re clearly influenced by the refs. We know they are, but stuff like that makes it look premeditated.

We need to win this game for nothing else than the talking heads are unbearable right now. Driving to the gym and have to hear how the Bills have shown weaknesses that KC and the RED HOT Bengals don’t have. Bills struggling lately. (No mention of Bengals a fumble away from losing to the Pats or Chiefs going to OT with the Texans). We went from being way overhyped to start the season, to the punching bag of contenders. …and I wouldn’t be homerish if it was deserved. But it’s not… Bills, Chiefs and Bengals are all winning, all on win streaks, but all showing vulnerabilities and none are dominating. This fallacy that we we some juggernaut last year BUT this year we’re struggling. That was literally said this morning by a radio guy. It’s all so tiresome. Go out tomorrow and shut up the talking heads and insecure trash talking Bengals while we’re at it.

Love the narrative floating around the talking heads that Cinci is the most balanced contender. Why? Bills passing game is on par. Bills run game is far superior. Bills defense is better. How, exactly, does that make Cinci the most balanced team? They can simply say they trust Burrow and WR’s more, and ok.. we shall see. But no need to invent narratives.
