  1. When you can give carries to a slow running back and start a bad corner over a 1st Rounder, you just have to.
  2. Team looks all sorts of out of it. Defense having the same issues as last week, Allen making horrible decisions again and an OL with two holding penalties against the worst DL we’ve seen all season.
  3. Season is off the rails..
  4. Color me shocked that you have the Bengals beating the Bills next week.
  5. 1-3 week injury and he’s still out, week 3 now, in the midst of a division/playoff race. Can’t tell me this isn’t contract related.. Are we even sure he’s coming back this year?
  6. Its interesting because when we played them, Mahomes was under more pressure than Allen. Even without Von, we have a better DL, and they don’t have much outside Chris Jones, so I guess in a head to head, it evens out. That said … yea, love hearing how Mahomes doesn’t have a WR1 anymore and how Allen has Diggs, and Burrow has multiple guys, and same with Herbert … ok, cool … Mahomes has the best TE, perhaps ever, a heavily invested in OL a handful of WR2/3’s and the greatest offensive mind of the current era leading that team. How doesssss he do it!!??
  7. They can free up quite a bit of money. The question is just if it’s prudent to do so. Long term backloaded deals for guys like Allen & Edmunds are fine, but we’ve got to be careful with older guys. I doubt we do this, but we should also consider moving guys before their deals are up. Looking at Oliver and Davis. Davis I love as a WR3 on this team, just depends if we can keep him as that. Oliver is way too hit or miss for me. Some games he dominates and others you barely notice him… he seems like a luxury at this point, and on a team paying the QB over 40M, I’d gladly sacrifice cap if he was Quinnen Williams … so far, he’s not even close.
  8. I think we’ve got to stick it out with Brown at RT for next year and hope he makes a jump. He’s far too talented, and we have too many other positions we may need to draft on Day 1 & Day 2 (WR, G/C, S). Id be perfectly happy if we go WR RD1 and then G/C in RD2. If a guy like O’Cyrus Torrence is there in RD1 for us, maybe flip the order of those picks. If Morse retires, then that’s obviously another hole, but also frees up money to maybe offer Poyer a short term deal lucrative enough to stay.
  9. What exactly is it that Michael Smith does on these broadcasts?
  10. Isn’t Wilson supposed to have a strong arm?.. Two deep throws and they’ve both been pop flies.
  11. Jets Offense feels like they’ve been out there for about 3 minutes so far.
  12. Big miss and a gutless decision.
  13. The Jags playcalling has the Jets defenses on skates
  14. Jets with Wilson … lookin not great. Jags have the Texans after this and that likely sets up a win-and-in game against the Titans.
  15. He ran all over people in college. Very Josh-Allen like where he runs away from safeties & linebackers and it just doesn’t make any sense.
  16. Id take Lawrence over Hurts. T-Law’s potential is elite.. and he’s been looking such lately throwing to Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, not Devonta Smith and AJ Brown. Hurts is good though. Way better than I ever thought he’d be.
  17. After Allen, Mahomes, Burrow and Herbert.. If I had to predict.. won’t be long until Lawrence is #5.
  18. Ok… sorry TNF doesn’t have two of like six teams on every week.
  19. These aren’t JV teams .. both are playoff contenders. One team has an elite defense and they’re playing in cold, wet and windy conditions.
  20. Quinnen Williams is such a beast. The next great DT.
  21. Certainly seems the case, but there’s going to be a ton of bad weather games this weekend.. starting on TNF with wind and rain for MetLife.
  22. My favorite part has got to be Knox and Beas just randomly talking about a truck for 2 minutes of the video.
  23. Micah Hyde is the Adrian Peterson of neck surgery.
  24. I don't think it's a coincidence that our Offense starts figuring things out when Josh Allen is given free reign to run. We have an average OL, average running backs and above average/not elite receiving weaponry. When teams have to be mindful of gap integrity because Allen may just take off.. the OL looks better. When teams are worried of Allen as a runner, the RB's look better. When teams are worried of Allen as a runner, the passing game opens up for guys like Knox and Davis. This could also be accomplished with a better OL, better conventional running game and/or more investment in weaponry... but as it stands, Allen is what opens all that up when he's unleashed.
  25. Can't speak for the poster, but I believe the ridiculousness he is referring to are posters who immediately go to worst case scenario every time someone gets hurt. According to those posters - Josh, Von and now Morse are done for the year. So, I guess they're 1 for 2 so far.
