  1. Not gonna lie… that quote from him may have sold me. We need a lot more of that mentality on this team.
  2. I think the Josh Allen effect is valid this year. Bryce Young is the safest bet at QB, but due to his physical size, has limitations. AR and Levis are guys who could absolutely bust.. but if they hit… And if I’m drafting a guy in the Top 5 and/or giving up massive draft capital to move up.. I’m taking a swing. Especially as an AFC Team. Safe isn’t contending in a conference with Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert and Lawrence over the next decade.
  3. Anthony Richardson with an absolutely absurd performance today
  4. What evidence made you believe he undoubtedly did it? Be specific. A juror literally said he thought he was guilty because Murdaugh wasn’t remorseful.
  5. Russell Brand takes a flamethrower to propaganda news … absolute fire
  6. No. I’ll admit though, I really only watched when Murdaugh was on the stand, along with a summary of the case/evidence. I couldn’t convict him based on what I heard. Sounds like the jury just “thinks” he did it… which isn’t how our legal system works. Although, gun to my head, having to choose, I’d say he probably did it. That said .. this tweet sums it up for me.
  7. Even if McDermott was the guy behind the curtain and Frazier is the fall guy.. (for the record, I don't think that's the case) For me, it doesn't matter, with Frazier gone, McDermott now knows this defense better perform and/or the team better advance in the post-season. There isn't anyone else to look at if our Defense, once again, can't remotely slow down Burrow or Mahomes in the Championship Game.. let alone Divisional Round. I tend to think we may take a step back defensively with Von working his way back and some likely departures.. but if this team invests on Offense, along with Dorsey/Kromer Year 2.. I don't think it matters. Maybe mid-QB's don't get held to 16 points, maybe it's more like 21.... but our Offense drops 31. Then, in the playoffs, I expect a more clutch/in-your-face Defense.
  8. I'm pretty sure Beane and/or McDermott made mention that Benford could move to Safety. Nothing concrete, but they've definitely addressed the possibility.
  9. I think the draft piece has to depend on what McBeane truly think of Benford, no? I'd let Poyer walk, sign a vet S, transition Benford and bring back Marlowe. That gives us Hyde - Vet Safety, with Benford and Marlowe as depth. Hamlin, we'll see how that goes. Then draft a CB on Day 3 to compete with Dane Jackson for depth behind White and Elam.
  10. Addison or Torrence for me. Addison is the perfect WR2 for our Offense, and he has WR1 potential down the line. Torrence is just a monster. Yea, he's only a Guard. Won't ever play Tackle. Isn't a Center. Do. Not. Care. Drafting him brings the hope that he will lock down his Guard spot with top tier play for a decade. If we address Guard and WR in Free Agency, then I'd be ok taking a swing on Bijan Robinson.
  11. Love this, but disagree it will be tougher to do without Poyer or Edmunds. Edmunds isn't a nasty dude... he's a freak athlete who plays a more reactive style and Poyer, unfortunately, looks to be on the back nine of his career. We can certainly get nastier without them.
  12. It was verified to be on that Ukrainian govt linked website. I’ll counter you with this … What media is going to report that? Western media? They can’t even tell us the truth about the complexities of Crimea or the Donbas.. Zelenskyy targeting his political opponents .. The actual presence of Nazi’s in different govt linked battalions .. The corruption in that country. None of that absolves Russia from a full scale invasion, but actual criticisms of Ukraine are suppressed and we are given pro-Ukraine propaganda nonstop. Yet you apparently need CNN to verify so you don’t need to do any research yourself? Just let them tell you what you want to hear, right?
  13. Obviously you read where I posted that Russia went too far… Its hilarious to me that the West is all “oh heavens me.. how did this happen!?” when we basically dared them to do it for years. Guess what … we probably wanted them to. This proxy war is gold for the MIC and all the politicians who benefit from their coffers … but I’m sure we only have the best of intentions - surely our track record speaks of our benevolence.
  14. Sorry, the simp Republicans are fading away. The Bush-era neocons are on your side now. I’m not an ideological old-school Republican… I want R’s like DeSantis that will crush corporations that get involved in politics. Senators like Hawley and Rand Paul, that will take a flamethrower to corrupted institutions. Enjoy the Mitt Romneys and Mitch McConnell’s while you have them.
  15. Yup .. what the media, and their willing sheep don’t realize.. Crimea & Donbas are far more complicated then most believe. Russia obviously crossed the line (after US/West constantly provoked them) but they’ve been warring over those territories for a while now, and most who live in those places identify as Russian.
  16. Theres actually two Josh Allen’s in this years draft, if you haven’t heard. That comp is out there about Will Levis and Anthony Richardson. Regardless of what anyone thinks about this draft, there’s potentially 5 QB’s that could go Top 10… that alone will make the draft hyped.
  17. Not only did the Chiefs trade Hill last year, they also let Ward and Mathieu walk.. Their starting Safety and CB1.
  18. Obviously they don't need to go into detail, but I would like to know there's some semblance of a plan for Oliver, if we don't move him... we're losing Edmunds, if he bounces, for nothing... and will be facing the same scenario for a FAR less impactful guy in a DT room that has nobody under contact for '24. Yes, they should explain what the (vague) plan is...
  19. I am not high on Ed Oliver, but I think you're way off here.
  20. Speaking of that trade, a lot of fans here act as if KC clowned us on this situation... I'm not sure Elam doesn't end up the better player. His physical ceiling is higher than McDuffie and he made plays whenever he was out there.
  21. Bills "decision makers" should legitimately explain what the plan is for Oliver if he's still on this roster post-draft. I fear you are correct, but from the outside, it makes no sense at all. 10.5M to a player not under contract the following year, who doesn't take over games himself and puts us in an Edmunds scenario for '24 at a position where we have nobody locked up on a multi-year deal is absurd management.
  22. Guess it's subjective... if we can get a 2 and 5, I'd say that's huge. Even a 3 and 6, to me is a huge trade. Especially given we only have 6 picks. However, a RD1 pick is not happening, for sure.. and maybe all we get is a 4th, I have no idea... but people who have asked around seem to believe Ed has legitimate value.
  23. That's definitely the point many aren't addressing. Obviously our FO is aware, but we have no DT's locked up past this year. Best case scenario, Oliver lives up to his 10.5M cap hit and then we can't afford him.. worst case, he stays inconsistent and we don't want to find money for him. Either way, I can't believe this staff truly sees a path for Ed in Buffalo past '23... and if that's the case, what are we doing here?
