Von Miller Has More Sacks This Season Than Any Bills Player Thus Far...
SCBills replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bosa, Hoecht, Rousseau and AJ are better than him right now. -
R’s have a clean CR ready to go. Simple as that. 7 Dems vote for it. It’s over.
-
You know as well as anyone that neither side cares about people, it’s about power and that will only be swayed by public perception, which right now has gone from 50/50 to a 55/45 lean R this week. If it goes any further, Dems will break and vote for the clean CR.

Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline
SCBills replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t care if it’s an overpay.. if, big if, an actual difference maker at WR is available, pull the trigger and make them a long term commitment. If we have to give up draft capital and pay a WR, so be it. Beane has shown, via the draft, that he can find supporting cast WR’s on Day 3, but for a difference maker, he won’t draft one early and when he does, it’s Keon. Swallow hard and accept this is a blind spot .. pull the trigger. And perhaps that means we can’t bring back our McGovern and/or Edwards next year. Maybe we can’t extend Torrence. Because our GM is incapable of building a competent WR room. But with Kromer, he can build a dang good OL. And maybe that’s the focus of our remaining draft picks next year to go with SVPG, Anderson and Grable in filling those spots. -
Sounds like he was drafted more for next year, but I never heard of him referenced as a raw, developmental player. Hes a compression/power DE, rotational player. Thought to have a high floor and lower ceiling, but again.. DE3 hope as an effective rotational guy.

My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!
SCBills replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trade for a WR, put Keon on the shelf with Landon Jackson for next year unless needed for injury depth and then elevate Gabe to the 53 when healthy. Player X via trade Palmer Gabe Shakir Samuel Keon Cut Moore & Shavers -
Ed Oliver bicep injury - likely out regular season
SCBills replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like the Bills, Niners, Lions and Ravens have been contending teams just decimated by injuries year to year. Which is a big reason why the Chiefs and Eagles are the dominant playoff teams of late. -

Would have to open up rosters and you’d probably get pseudo-load management throughout the season. I think 18, with 2 bye weeks and 2 preseason games is the sweet spot. -
Stated he doesn’t have any concerns about the passing game. Brought up Week 1, down big in the 4th to Baltimore as evidence of being able to throw downfield when we need to. Talked about Keon Coleman doing the right things and highlighted how he’s improved his run blocking (because apparently that’s our obsessive focus now). Just seems like he’s fixated on the run game and I’m not even sure he’d use a WR upgrade if he we got him one at this point. Just a very nonchalant presser that kept reiterating that the run game is the focus and our passing game is fine.

After hearing Brady speak to the press today, yea… hes a major issue and im worried he’s causing Josh to regress.

Carson Wentz to have season ending shoulder surgery
SCBills replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kirk went at Wentz like he had a personal issue with him. That was weird and completely unprofessional. -
Joe B (The Athletic) on passing game problems (with data)
SCBills replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Get Brady out of here. He seems to be in CYA mode now. What is this? Oh, we can pass down big in the 4th Quarter. Cool. -

Insane thing to feel has to be said when Josh Allen is your QB -
Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
SCBills replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
A caller to postgame made the correct statement last night… essentially “we need to overpay bc of Beane’s mismanagement of the roster” It is what it is. Shaheed as a rental is obviously not worth a 3. But if he’s one of only a couple outside receivers available, beggars can’t be choosers. -
I think he’s made it known he wants that contract revisited.

Ravens 2-5 Steelers 4-3 Ravens next 3 games: Dolphins, Vikings, Browns. Steelers next 3 games: Colts, Chargers, Bengals. Wouldn’t be shocked to see the Ravens at 5-5 tied with the Steelers at 5-5 by 10/16, barring Lamar having a contract related hamstring injury that lingers.

SCBills replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even more frustrating than the complete non existence of a passing game if the fact that Josh is getting hit, much more. My biggest fear if we don’t trade for a WR and/or Brady doesn’t get his act together isn’t that the Offense can’t pass the ball… it’s that Josh gets hurt. -
Ed Oliver bicep injury - likely out regular season
SCBills replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Ed Oliver can make it back for the Playoffs, which WC/Divisional Round would be the timeline if he has surgery this week.. that’s a huge get for the Postseason. Obviously the worry is how effective will he be if/when he gets back. -
That’s what the Defense could be right there
SCBills replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Falcons showing they’re not a good team in the two games immediately following us, yet we let them dominate us on both sides of the ball for most of the game. Can only line up against who’s across from you and with this being the first real action for Ogunjobi and Hoecht plus the young secondary guys in Hairston and Hancock, I’ll take the positives and hope they carry it over to KC.
