Yes, but I’d rather make the deal heavier on draft picks. Adding Parsons to the existing DL core would be the hope for me. Bernard would be hard to move because we don’t have much behind him. Shakir would be the piece I’d move, and platoon Samuel & Moore, with Keon sliding down to big slot at times. Probably not popular, but I’d do it.
-
I’d go to 3 1sts and Samuel if I’m Beane. Add in Epenesa if they want a pass rusher back too. If we could have a core DL of Parsons, Rousseau, Hoecht, Oliver, Sanders and Walker for Josh Allen’s prime window.. I don’t care about those picks at all. Confident we could address any other positions we need to add to on Day 2 and Day 3 of the upcoming drafts. Add in Joey Bosa and Matt Milano in the Front 7 for this year and (if) they stay healthy… could be absolutely dominant.
-
Gonna need those three draft picks on the DL to hit with paying Parsons, so it would be the opposite… impeccable timing to get an influx of rookie contract talent on the DL.

If everyone’s healthy, Hairston probably bumps Ingram (my best guess) to the PS or they cut Codrington and figure something else out at PR/KR. Grable knocks Lundt, most likely, off the 53 and if he clears, knocks off an OL on the PS. Hoecht & Ogunjobi directly impact DeWayne Carter and Javon Solomon. Those two have six weeks to prove they belong on the active roster. I suppose Ciarlo could get bounced if the numbers game called for it, but there’s a few guys likely ahead of him on the cut list I’d imagine.. especially with carrying 5 LB’s on the active roster.

Not even being a jerk.. I do think trangenderism is mental illness but also support people to live the way they want to live without discrimination once they are of age to make those decisions. But… Between what’s happening with children and irreversible decisions and the violence of the trans community, it’s time we had a national conversation about this topic.

Tyrell Shavers makes initial 53 man roster
SCBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hopefully this doesn’t affect Shavers. -
Honestly. None. Team did what I thought they would. I like Davidson too, but Knox & Kincaid make him redundant and I think the staff has big plans for Hawes come regular season.

Some of these comments for a PS signing are wild. You can’t have high end talent, potential and/or depth at every position. For us.. that position is Safety. Corner is an issue due to injury, but once Hairston comes back, you can’t ask for much more than a top tier slot corner, top tier CB1 and RD1 pick with decent vet depth. The Safety positions succcess is reliant on Cole Bishop becoming a dude. Always has, always will this season. Poyer on the PS and in the room with Bishop helps that. If he has to play, so be it. Generally teams arent excited if they have to play PS guys for an extended period of time.. vet or young guy.

Hyde was a “never gonna call him up” type of PS player. I do think Poyer could be in line for call ups if we have issues back there, but the plan is likely very similar to what they had Micah doing.

I’ll wait and see what this means. If we have guys like Jordan Phillips and Jordan Poyer on our Practice Squad… that’s pretty awesome imo. The new rules allow for more vets like this on PS and I’ll take some guys like this everytime over young guys who nobody else wanted to claim. A good mix of young development guys and vets on your PS seems the way to go now.

Know nothing about this guy except he’s apparently a ST demon, but a quick Twitter search shows Broncos fans were confused that he was cut and Panthers fans wanted him back.

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises
SCBills replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think a general rule of thumb is you do not trade line depth unless you’re going to cut them. Generally not a position you can fix in-season at the trade deadline. -
Bills fans are excited for Shavers! Oh boy.. can’t wait to turn on WGR and see what they have to say. (Schopp) “Shavers is trash and here’s a 15 minute fantasy football story” Welp…. Alright.

Andreesen is fine for LB5 special teams, but that Bears game was brutal. I want no part of him out there in passing downs. Hopefully Shaq Thompson can be the primary MLB backup. I’d feel way more comfortable with him in there for a game or two.

Seizing control of the means of production
SCBills replied to Thurmal34's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Immigration/Border Policy and “woke” probably prevents 90% of them from ever being Bernie Bros. Old Bernie, before he had to step in line for the DNC on those issues, yes. -
Amari Cooper to the Raiders, coinciding with Jakobi Meyers requesting a trade.

I don’t necessarily love bringing in the military to clean up American cities, but the results on the ground in DC speak for themselves. It shows that, in fact, it can be done. If Trump goes city to city and does this, it inevitably becomes Democrats fighting for more crime in the eyes of the average voter. …which was probably the plan all along.

Lefties are mentally disturbed and must be stopped.

They have GOT TO STOP doing this stuff. -
I get it if he’s odd man out and due to not knowing what we’d get in the Draft, but my goodness…. What a waste of cap space if we cut him. Not just for this year, but the dead cap for next year as well.

I must be in the minority that is fine with Jordan Phillips as DT5, if that’s what this is. He made plays in our biggest game of the season last year and while certainly with his flaws, he also makes plays. Not bad for a DT5. Now if this is something different and he’s leapfrogging Walker & Sanders or we have to cut someone like Shavers because we’re keeping 6 DT’s, then yea, I don’t get it. I say all this under the assumption we’re moving Carter .. which, of course, isn’t great in its own right and even more annoying that 90% of the fanbase hated the pick and we look more right than the FO on him.
