Beane is good at drafting after all -- A look at 2022
SCBills replied to boater's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not Elite Not Elite Injured too much in recent years and not Beane Injured too much could go for Benford too, who has missed our biggest game of the year, the past two years Nobody, on any team, comes into a Bills game overly concerned with any of those three Really good players, but not what we’re talking about that Beane needs to hit on once or twice Beane is a Top 5 GM, but we’re competing on razor thin margins against the best or second best GM -
This is when it’s easy to sit back and be content with my vote when I didn’t believe he could simply lower prices or end Russia/Ukraine Day 1 … I simply wanted the border & immigration to be put under control and the tax cuts to be made permanent. Add in Trump’s election as a rebuke to the far left (who I view as a political enemy of white men) and I’m thoroughly happy with my vote.

I won’t go there yet, but at some point, the Dems can’t keep getting crushed in fundraising and people not see a link between NGO’s and Democrat Fundraising. Dems typically crush R’s in fundraising and that has abruptly stopped ever since the Trump Admin slashed their funding. I believe that the Dems will find their fundraising footing closer to the midterms, but if they don’t…

Beane is good at drafting after all -- A look at 2022

If Beane could land an elite guy once in a while, he’d be on the same level as Veach and Roseman. Because we, year in, year out, lack that guy(s) outside JA, he’s a tier below and it’s been a big reason we haven’t made a Super Bowl. Bad injury luck being the other primary reason. This hyped Draft Class, which is warranted, is a microcosm of the team around Allen. Whiffed on the elite traits guy, but nailed 4 starters who are all very good, but not game changers. Beane is one of the best GM’s in the game. Hes just gotta find that one or two guys… Kincaid, Coleman, Hairston, Sanders.. someone to develop into a dude when it matters. -
Chiefs George Karlaftis extended - 4 years, $93 Million

Do Chiefs fan believe Karlaftis has 1A level EDGE ability if Chris Jones isn’t in the picture? Thats been the debate here with Rousseau.. Can he be a DE1? Rousseau is an elite run defender who does get pressure but lacks the big sack numbers so far. That said, the only time he’s had an elite talent to play off of was the year we signed Von, for 11 games, before Von tore his ACL. I do wonder what he’d look like with a Chris Jones on the interior. Chiefs were definitely paying Karlaftis though. Just like the Bills were paying Rousseau. Even if they never become DE1’s.. you can’t let young talent like that at a premium position leave due to a 20Mish price tag. -

Rousseau and Karlaftis are similar tier EDGE players, but I think Rousseau has more potential left in him given his freakish size and relative raw ability coming into the NFL. Rousseau has also never had a Chris Jones level guy to play off of. -
Another one - Trey Hendrickson asks for a trade from Cincy

You can see the potential in this highlight reel. I think it’s accurate to say Keon, after the top guys in that Draft, has the highest variance of being a bust or a star. The issue for me is that he won on contested catches and slants. Two things Allen hasn’t liked to throw his entire career. That has to probably change if Keon Coleman is going to be a thing. -
We had him on a very limited snap count, so all he had to do was rush the passer .. and even with that win rate, he struggled to actually finish the play. Its still a good stat, and I think Von situationally is a good signing for the Commanders, but I much prefer taking the swing on a one year Bosa deal over another year of Von. Von likely, even with his injury history, has a better chance of staying active all season .. but Bosa, should he figure out a way to limit the injuries, has a much higher ceiling at this point in their careers. We need difference makers, and a healthy Von doesn’t seem to be that anymore. Joey Bosa, when healthy, still has that in him.

Not much to understand really.. QAnon folks are weird. Resist Libs are simply the left’s version of them now. “Trump didn’t actually get shot”. “It was a set up by Trump to win the election”. “Actually, the election was stolen and it will all come to light before the inauguration”. “Let’s rearrange letters of words in an alleged Trump/Epstein note”. Y’all and QAnon are just different sides of the same coin.

Don't ask me.. I’m not Q. Ask yourself why you didn’t get into all that, but are now on here posting resist lib anagrams off bluesky regarding a maybe it’s real, maybe it’s not typewritten Trump letter.
-
You do realize you sound exactly like QAnon, right? You're taking at face value the legitimacy of a typewritten letter that Trump denies, and I’m sorry .. but the media has lost their “trust me bro” hook when it comes to this man. And two, if it is him, it’s weird.. yea .. because we’ve literally never heard Trump speak like that. So you can choose to believe full-heartedly its legitimacy and then further more delve into what was actually meant by decoding the letter like a sleuth … but if you ever laughed at Q, you’ve now lost that upper hand of sanity, because this is exactly their shtick. Rearrange the letters and then multiply each one by 3, before you subtract the number of letters in the name Epstein and you’ve got the latitude and longitude of another secret pedo island!

I love how obsessed you are with Trump, in every topic - no matter how tangentially or unrelated it is, meanwhile your profile picture is of a Trump supporter. And for the record, sure.. small positives, but what RFK is doing through the Trump Administration should be applauded by all.. Unless you’re some kind of artificial dye or ultra-processed food lobbyist.

Trade Epenesa for a Day 3 Pick. Trade Samuel for a Day 3 pick swap to move his salary. Trade David Edwards for a Day 3 Pick. That clears out around 18M. Leaves us with two extra Day 3 Picks if Beane wants to send a Day 2 Pick to CIN for Hendrickson. Backload the extension and pay out 15M of it this coming year. Leaves us with 3M towards in season. Obviously this won’t happen… …but it’s not impossible. No need for AJE if we got Hendrickson. Moore plays the Samuel role and WR5 is a Special Teams guy like Shavers. And yea, moving Edwards wouldn’t be ideal, but the staff loves Anderson and Grable and this opens up a spot for one of them. Just sayin… -
Fair, but to us he is not. Not on a team with an elite OL and Josh Allen. On other teams, especially if he proves he can play more on passing downs, yes. My caveat, as I alluded to above, I think his ceiling is Alvin Kamara in his prime. That’s a superstar. And if he shows that this season, I’d pay for that. That will require both an upgrade from Cook in the less sexy aspects of being a RB, along with more trust and opportunity from Brady and McDermott - along with him showing he won’t wear down over the season. A lot of if’s.

The only movie star moment anyone remembers Colbert for is when he had Claire Danes on and she started linking Intelligience Agencies as working hand in hand with journalists to undermine political adversaries .. to which he abruptly switched topics as his corporate handlers surely started freaking out in his earpiece.

RGIII chimes in.. for whatever that’s worth.

Shane Gillis has a ton of political commentary in his comedy, but it’s funny because he can poke fun at Trump without coming across like it’s from a place of seething hatred and resentment. Says a lot that team blue leftists hate him, when he truly attacks all sides, simply because he isn’t an HR hall monitor comedian. Same goes for Tim Dillon. Who’s podcast takes searing political jabs at everyone .. but because he doesn’t despise conservatives or Trump, he’s “alt-right”.
