  1. There’s ways around this if the Bills are actually serious about needing $$ in season. Attaching a pick with Samuel to get him off this team is an option. Knox is a solid TE who would likely have a trade market. There are ways around this, but the Bills need to be willing to get creative and/or be willing to part with a player who is an OG of this roster.
  2. The Defensive Line is actually good. It’s not their fault the back 7 is hilariously bad at run fits and coverage. We have one of the highest pressure rates in the league, but none of that matters much when QB’s have someone wide open in a split second.
  3. Yea, let’s vote for these people instead… Democrats have a huge “I might not love Republicans but what the **** is this!?” problem on their hands.
  4. It just keeps getting better.
  5. Yea, Josh Palmer might miss a month, but we have 3 TE’s and 4 WR’s that are better in the slot so what’s the problem?
  6. This guy is incredible. I’m obsessed with his story and the Pod Save America guys / Progressives like Krystal Ball and Ryan Grim trying to rehabilitate him.
  7. Im not to this point, but I’d be fine with Beane trading a 1st and 2nd for an impact WR that we lock up long term. We just locked up a bunch of good, not great, guys in Bernard (debatable), Benford, Shakir and Rousseau. We have our two Tackles locked up long term. Same with Cook and Kincaid. Get a playmaker in here and just keep the mid-late round picks for Beane to draft diamonds in the rough, developmental depth and OL that Kromer likes.
  8. 1) WR 2) S 3) CB 4) LB WR is the easiest fix. We’re a legitimate WR on the outside away from having as complete of an Offense as you can possibly have. Takes our one weakness and, potentially, makes it a strength or at least neutral. Safety is a mess. Rapp needs to be on the bench and we have to live with the ups and downs from Bishop to see what he becomes. We have “options”, albeit not great ones, in Jordan Poyer and Jordan Hancock. Poyer becomes another defender on his last legs but is probably an upgrade at this point and Hancock is a rookie who would be thrown into the fire. CB2 is an unmitigated disaster with Tre, but the plan is Hairston. Could use another corner to hedge on Max, but if Strong can come back this year, he’s that guy. LB has 4 playable guys, 3 of which are injury prone. Probably enough to get by with but might just be a rotating cast all season and hope they’re all good to go for the Playoffs. Could see an addition, but more than likely they bank of Bernard finding his form again and having one of Shaq or Milano available week to week.
  9. I agree, as the offense is currently constructed.. but it just has the look of a very limited offense that needs to execute at a very high level and be on time in terms of down/distance in order to be efficient. Have one guy on the outside capable of winning, with an offense that throws to RB’s & TE’s is what I’d expect from an Offense led by a rookie QB or game manager.. not the best player in the world. …but that’s where we seem to be. If that’s the plan, they better become a juggernaut run team because it’s just going to be nonstop run blitzes, pass blitzes, stacked boxes, flooded middle of the field and mirror/spies on Allen. If we don’t make a trade, I think you have to get major improvement from Keon or Gabe/Moore playing more on the outside to give Josh a deep threat or separator opposite Palmer, otherwise it’s just going to be a team reliant on running an Offense designed for Brock Purdy or Bo Nix.
  10. Keon has the aura and personality of a superstar. Problem is, his play on the field is WR5. As good as Worthy & McConkey are in their roles, they don’t really have WR1 potential.. Keon’s body and play style was the shot at getting a WR1 at that point in the Draft should he moderately improve his route running (think a Courtland Sutton type player). But we’re in Year 2 and WR’s should be a more instant impact high draft pick .. if it’s not going to happen, he’s basically useless out there on the outside & if we can’t/wont play him inside, trading him to someone who can/will at some point should be on the table. Just a very frustrating fit that so many saw issues with but our FO apparently didn’t. As always, hoping it clicks.. because if he can become a Sutton type player, our Offensive ceiling is sky high. This is why I’d almost rather keep forcing it unless Gabe Davis is healthy and can take that role.. maybe get Moore out there with him with more reps. Davis/Moore platoon. Moore got open for Cleveland.. not sure why we can’t make it work here.
  11. Saw my Aunt post pics from a No Kings protest in North Carolina. One picture was an elderly woman with pictures of her 4 white male grandchildren with their names on her walker. The caption said “I’m doing this for my grandchildren”. How sad that she’s protesting against the side that actually wants to save this country for them. Who stands against a tidal wave of illegal immigration, demonization of them for their gender & skin color, justification for legal discrimination on college applications, job applications and career advancement. Protesting on behalf of those who would gladly make her grandchildren feel the same generational discrimination (real or perceived) that they believe all white men are inherently responsible for.
  12. Super cool having these sellers in division so we’d have to pay a premium or be blocked entirely to make a trade.
  13. Would require players going out with the trade or trades elsewhere. Dallas has a ton of cap space so obviously this makes a ton of sense for them.
  14. Trey Wingo reporting the Cowboys have inquired about him. Would you want the Bills to get in on this? Would have to move some high cap players. Therefore, i’m 98% certain we won’t, but figured I’d post since it sounds like the Raiders may be open to listening to offers on him.
  15. To the Keon Coleman point, the only way this Offense goes to another level is if he becomes something. Trade for a WR aside. So, yea, we can demote him in the Offense, but all that does is make us a big personnel, more predictable offense and we’re already very predictable without much on the outside to threaten teams vertically. Just seems like a band-aid that perhaps makes us more efficient, but come playoff time.. easier to defend unless we simply execute at an extremely high level.
  16. I actually think they’re doing a good job with the DL, especially given the injuries they’ve had to deal with. The issue is that the Back 7 has provided next to zero resistance to allow the DL to get home.
  17. The way Bernard is playing this season so far, ain’t nobody listening to him. If you’re an athlete, you’re not listening to the dude who is getting smoked on tape every time you look at film.
  18. I took that post as the player going out would be for secondary help.. not necessarily a secondary player for us. A Knox type player comes to mind as someone who would rock the locker room but makes all the sense in the world to trade.
  19. Brown I can vibe with as a leader of a team trying to win a Super Bowl. Josh, typically, but I don’t know.. maybe it’s just the overall start of the season so far, and I don’t want to read into his comments to Marty Smith as that IS the correct view to have on life, but vibes seem off with him right now. Dawkins is the guy who goes on a 15 minute philosophical monologue whenever he’s asked if it’s Super Bowl or bust .. and I don’t love that. Cook barely speaks. If that’s the emotional core of the team, Brown and sometimes Josh aside, ehhhh..
  20. I might be in the minority, but if we have to ride an undersized back as a Jacobs/Saquon type workhorse because of GM induced deficiencies requiring such … I don’t want to hear it if he breaks down end of season or isn’t as effective when we need him in the Playoffs.
  21. Are they? Jags marching up and down the field on them. Should be trying to tie it up right now.
