  1. In new polling, only 22% of men have a favorable view of the Democrat Party. The gender divide is absolutely insane.
  2. Chiefs are the healthiest year in/ year out of all the AFC contenders. First things first, eyes on the 1 seed. We’ve tried a whole bunch of stuff to get to the Super Bowl, but that’s eluded us. Second, McDermott addressed it.. you need 2-3 game changers on each side of the ball. He wouldn’t say whether or not he thinks we do, but the fact he wouldn’t means he knows we don’t… which means Beane knows we don’t. Can they fix it this offseason, who knows, but knowing is half the problem.
  3. If our QB was Aaron Rodgers or Tua Tagavailoa, what do you think our season looks like? How do you think McDermott and Beane are viewed? They get credit for Allen. And he is why they're still here. That's not meant as a huge insult either.. if you don't have an elite QB, unless your name is Mike Tomlin, you have a limited shelf life as a GM/HC.
  4. Do you think Diggs was ever on the level in big moments as Hill, Kelce and Jones? Looking back, he was never that guy.
  5. If the conclusion one is to draw from that press conference is that we won't go outside the organization much because we need to extend a bunch of guys who don't show up when it matters and hit on draft picks that he hasn't been hitting on.. Color me disillusioned that we'll ever get there. Thing is, Beane also says stuff. He's honest, to a point, but is also someone that can surprise us. We can't make players become available, but if someone is, where it makes sense, I'll gladly trade a couple high picks and let a Benford/Bernard walk in order to finally give Josh a running mate like Mahomes has had x2 or x3 his entire career.
  6. This is a fair point but the difference between KC and us is their guys make plays in the postseason and are available. Who on your list shows up when it matters? Milano, Cook and Shakir. Benford keeps missing the biggest game of they year..every year. Bernard is good but looked like a JAG in that last game. Williams, who knows yet. Chris Jones and George Karlaftis were noticeable. Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau.. to his credit, Oliver was.. Rousseau, again, not so much. If we eliminate the officiating aspect, the games truly do come down to their coaching staff vs ours and their FO vs ours. We're the only team in the league that can cancel out their QB advantage in the playoffs, and as such, need to be held to a higher standard.
  7. Chris Jones, Trent McDuffie, Xavier Worthy, Leo Chenal, Nick Bolton, George Karlaftis etc., all "drafted low"
  8. I think they need a shake up. If Beane isn't lying and our cap space is to be set aside for extensions of the same guys who have been here 3-4 years and haven't made a difference in the postseason, well... I don't necessarily agree with you, but fear this is a potential outcome.
  9. Part of being a successful NFL player is the ability to play through injury. Too often this is the excuse for guys on our team, whether it's Rousseau with ankle injuries or this year's wrist pandemic... it's pretty common for players to announce surgery after the season. This isn't Bills-centric. If you're only a great player when you're fully healthy, you're not a great player.
  10. I don't even have words to describe how impressive Josh Allen is as a competitor. How? I don't understand how he played through that. I don't know how he played through a partially torn UCL in his throwing arm a few seasons ago either.
  11. In fairness, the 49ers have Nick Bosa and it hasn't mattered when they've had their shot at Kansas City. That said, they also don't have Josh Allen and with him cancelling out Patrick Mahomes, the main difference between their postseason defense and ours has been health, Spags and Chris Jones. We have to, at least, find our Chris Jones this offseason... and all the smoke points to Maxx Crosby. Dexter Lawrence, if we could make a move for him, would also make a lot of sense next to Ed Oliver.. essentially upgrading our DT position in two spots by upgrading one.
  12. “Do you stand by these onesies!?” and ”I don’t really care, Margaret” What a week for one liners…
  13. If this statement is true, there is zero reason to pay Benford. As we stand, we have a recent 2nd Round pick at Safety, a highly paid slot corner and a CB1 who looks to command a 20M+ AAV contract. That’s 3/5th of the Secondary.
  14. DL is of far more importance and will, by default, help the secondary if they improve. I would go into next year with Rapp-Bishop and Benford-Ingram-Johnson and then go heavy Secondary in the middle rounds of the Draft to bring in depth, competition and provide a year of experience in case we move off Rapp or let Benford walk after next season.
  15. It wasn't "the" reason. You're deliberately misrepresenting the sentiment most NFL fans have. Buffalo could have played better, of course. But if we win, the same could be said about Mahomes/Kansas City. He had the turnover. He took the sack near FG range. But we have to own our mistakes, while KC is always absolved of theirs.
  16. Im not sure what your laugh emoji’ing about.. the MAHA movement is massively led by moderate suburban moms. The ones who help decide elections.
  17. Dems are walking a dangerous line today with RFK. RFK has tremendous support amongst suburban moms. Hes the top confirmation choice for most women I know with kids.
  18. Rousseau could be a monster DE2 opposite a guy like Crosby, but he's not a DE1 on a team that doesn't have an elite playmaker at DT or DE. The price tag for him, on our end, should reflect that. Benford is a play out his contract next year and then let him go. He hasn't been healthy when it matters in every single playoff run we've had with him. He's a very good cover corner, but he's not elite. Bernard, like Rousseau, should depend on the number. He's good, not elite, and he's undersized which year in/year out is an issue with this Defense. If we bulk up the DL in front of him, that should help. Shakir is a re-sign unless he wants ridiculous money. Same for Cook, re-sign unless he wants ridiculous money. For me, in summary.. Shakir & Cook are 80/20 re-sign guys. Rousseau and Bernard are 50/50. Benford is 10/90.. I just don't think he's a smart 20M CB investment at all. Draft a bunch of corners in RD4/RD5 this year to get them a year in the system and then give Rousseau Benford's money IF we get a playmaker on the DL and he balls out as the 2nd/3rd piece with Oliver.
  19. Chiefs are the main draw in the NFL. Let's not pretend otherwise. That said... I do think the NFL is pushing the limits of what the NFL fanbase is willing to take given the constant officiating controversy. The Bills are pretty clearly their second biggest draw. Which is saying something given the baked in viewership numbers of national teams like the Cowboys.
  20. The Los Angeles Rams run an Offense that requires their WR's to block and are still able to maintain a vertical passing game with outside separation. If Amari Cooper is not that guy any longer, it makes zero sense to bring him back and we desperately need to find a separator on the outside, given we should absolutely bring Hollins back, but that essentially locks in two big body receivers in Coleman & Hollins on the outside that haven't shown much separation ability. Maybe Samuel, if he can finally be healthy, can give us that on the outside more next year but it's clearly not something we should be relying on.
  21. At this point Beane should just ask himself who would Kansas City Draft. We're now 0-2 in McDuffie vs Elam and Worthy vs Coleman (granted, the book isn't written on Keon yet)
  22. Well said.. Mahomes had the only turnover of the game. Mahomes took a sack in the open field when they were close to FG range. That is 6-10 points right there that if the game goes the other way, people would point to as why Mahomes/KC made mistakes they couldn't overcome. The only reason we never do this with them is because they get the game altering calls in close games that allow them to overcome those mistakes.
  23. We had to get a two score margin, which was why the slow start hurt so much. We ended up playing a tight tug of war until the 4th Quarter when we had a chance to go up 8.. but we all know what happened. Which is why you just can't get to the 4th Quarter against the Chiefs without a working margin, otherwise you allow the refs to make game altering calls in high leverage moments that always seem to go their way.
  24. God forbid the refs call a penalty like that in a tight playoff game. I suppose we’ll have to settle for not calling penalties on a long kick return for KC as well, but obviously making sure they find the time to throw a flag when Elam’s hand touches a Chiefs players facemask.
