  1. Prescott with an absurdly elite throw amongst a sea of mid all night.
  2. That would be the wildest coincidence I’ve ever heard of in my life.
  3. Pollard flashing that Devin Singletary breakaway speed.
  4. “Think of him as a pass catcher” But for real.. if Josh ever decides to stop his personal check down boycott, he makes sense.
  5. So…. Nobody but Miami vs Traffic Cones can consistently score apparently.
  6. He did that pre-injury too.
  7. 5 seconds just vanished and nobody but Joe Buck seems have noticed.
  8. Derwin James seems like he gets personal foul penalties everytime I watch this team.
  9. Chargers would have, but lost Mike Williams for the year. Bengals have Chase/Higgins/Boyd. Dolphins, Hill/Waddle. Ravens have Andrews/Flowers. Jags, Kirk/Ridley. That’s off the top of my head in the AFC.
  10. He has, but like Kincaid/Knox, it’s not something they lean on yet. Pollard is a nice piece but not someone you rely on. Gallup is capable of big games but is not, at all, reliable out there. The other WR’s are invisible half the time for whatever reason.
  11. Dallas has a similar issue to us.. Lamb and then ::shrug::
  12. As a Davis critic, this is honestly a good point. For the criticism we have for Davis (and Dorsey) much of it comes in 1.25 years where the WR room has looked to be poorly constructed.
  13. Listened to Joe B’s podcast where he discusses the drive NYG had where they ran it down our throats and caused us to pull Poona Ford. The cascading affect of how it forced Ed Oliver to play a ton of snaps. The further cascading affect of how it puts more pressure of two undersized linebackers who are meant to fly around, not fight through the wash. Im fine with Dorian Williams learning on the job at LB. If Jackson, Benford & Elam is what we have to roll with for the season.. I’m reluctantly ok with that as well. I think 1T could be the position that not just hurts itself in a vacuum, but further compromises other parts of the defense. If we’re being honest, that might be my top trade deadline target. It would be a shame to have one positional injury become one that affects multiple others on the defense.
  14. Getting Von ramped up before we get to the toughest part of the season/playoffs is the main goal. He's clearly DE4, maybe even DE5 right now. But he's not going to improve just sitting around. They need to play him and it is what it is. Hopefully it pays off in November/December and beyond.
  15. Bengals excuse was injury.. but Burrow looked healthy yesterday and the offense was pretty bad. Bills/Chiefs.. I think it's two-fold: -Teams are playing them both in a way that attempts to force Mahomes and Allen to be check down merchants and neither of them wants to do that. -Both teams have big cap numbers to consider at QB. It's why the Bills are depending on two guys on rookie contracts and some JAG's in the passing game around Diggs, while the Chiefs are doing the same around Kelce. Nobody is scared of MVS, Rice and Moore. Nobody is scared of Davis, Harty and release valve Kincaid. They are completely fine with both guys throwing short to guys that haven't shown they can do a ton to make defenses regret it.
  16. I'm not trading for an off ball linebacker. Dorian Williams has shown enough that we can hope he isn't a liability out there in the short term and potentially becomes an above average player later into the season. We also have Milano coming back late in the season or next year, so we'd be solely looking for a rental.. and with Dorian Williams, depth rental. CB.. I have no idea how the staff feels about Elam's eventual fit/potential. If we trade for a CB, I think moving Elam is a player for player and/or corresponding move. Chain moving WR (Slot or WR2 potential) and 1T DT are where I'd be looking. Not just to make sure our DL stays at an elite level inside and outside, but to also make sure our undersized speed linebackers stay clean and able to shoot gaps / make plays behind them.
  17. Von, Hyde and Poyer dramatically skew this number. -Cook -Kincaid -Torrence -McGovern -Bates -Oliver -Rousseau -Epenesa -Bernard -Williams -Benford All young players, who - outside of AJE - ae locked down for multiple years. If we do what I think we may this offseason, which is cycle out Gabe, Tre, Hyde and Poyer.. to be replaced with a rookies/younger players.. all of a sudden we are much younger. This was always going to change once Allen's cap hit starting becoming something we had to deal with financially.
  18. Von is basically year to year after next. Where we draft, we can "hope" to get guys that develop like AJE and Rousseau. I'd seriously consider extending him in season.
  19. -Jets make elite QB's look bad excuse. -London travel to play an acclimated team excuse. -Travel back from London to play our former OC excuse. I mean, honestly.. all valid. However, we're six games in and making excuses for the Offense being terrible in half of them isn't going to be acceptable to many, even those in the building.
  20. In a sane world, this man would be a shoe-in for our next President.
  21. Certainly wouldn't surprise me.. he's a rookie linebacker in his first start. However the talent is there. He has every raw skill you could want in an off ball linebacker. The fact he was able to be solid in his first start bodes well for him as it starts to slow down mentally as the season progresses.
  22. I could be totally off, but the vibe I get from AJ is that he likes it here, he respects the organization and seems to be someone who would be willing to extend for a fair enough deal.
