Oh, I agree with this too. It would be foolish to pay him bank breaking money long term, but somebody will. If I’m Tyreek, I’m telling them that if they’re going to make the Offense predicated on what I can do, I want more money. If not, trade me somewhere that I’ll get that before you spend another year wearing me out.

Tyreek Hill should make more money. He is literally the reason that Offense is so scary. They have speed everywhere, but that speed is amplified because you have to focus on Hill first which means you can’t throw as much help to Waddle or the run game, therefore explosive plays elsewhere are only single coverage or light boxes away.

I was someone who went to Pride parades 5-10 years ago. I watched my uncle pass away with his husband by his side. That was true love. At some point, you’ll realize that those like you are doing more harm to the LGB community than good. People haven’t become more bigoted.. The movement unfortunately became propaganda and now people are just annoyed by y’all all the time. Setting back gains made by the LGB community in order to elevate TQIA+ and infuse it with political ideology. Sad to see. Every day gay, lesbian and bisexual couples had what they wanted .. and y’all took it from them to push propaganda.

People obviously do care, but everyday LGB are not in that group. The only people mad they can’t light a bridge up all month are part of a dwindling group of activists in that state. The actual gay communities in Key West and South Beach don’t gaf about all this.

Guarantee you those people were TQIA+ or Dem activists. Most gay, lesbian, bisexual folks don’t care about this performative nonsense.

The lead legal analyst who followed the entire trial on CNN wrote an entire article on the Due Process violations present in this case. This isn’t a Fox News talking point. The only people who don’t think this is overturned on appeal are those who get their news from Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid and Morning Joe. No experts saw an acquittal once they read the jury instructions.

If you believe it was fair (80%+ Dem Jury Pool / 95%+ rulings for the Prosecution / Jury Instructions written to lead jurors to a conviction) *all per legal analysts, even on CNN. How do you explain the common expectation, by almost every lawyer who’s trying to be impartial, that this will 100% be overturned on appeal? The underlying charge not being revealed to the jury until closing, after the defense finished and could not rebut. The denial of the actual former head of the FEC to attest to anything other than basic questions about the function of the FEC. The use of P*cker & Cohen to repeatedly put irrelevant information regarding their guilt (used by the prosecution to imply extrapolated guilt to Trump) into the jurors heads over and over. Nevermind that this is a novel legal theory, never tried before, that resurrected multiple expired misdemeanors by wrapping them up in an abstract felony. This trial has too many Due Process violations to count. But protecting the verdict from appeal was never the worry. They just wanted the short term “convicted felon” tag .. which they will get … until the NY Court of Appeals, or if need be, SCOTUS, overturns the conviction.

It’s bad optics. That’s half of the political game. Do I think that was Biden showing us he made the boss call in broad daylight? No. I don’t think he’s “with it” enough to do so. But the image of our current leader smiling when asked about if he’s involved in the potential imprisonment of our former leader… is something. Have you ever watched Veep? I guarantee you his staffers saw him do that and immediately went “No, no, no.. stop smiling!!! What the **** are you doing!?” And when our former President is under nonstop lawfare attacks and we have DA’s offices in and out of the WH that are involved, along with members of the Admin leaving to join prosecution teams prior to the indictments.. it’s hard to not read into this. And do I think Biden himself is calling the shots? No. I don’t think he has much of an idea, at all, of what’s going on. But his administration does … and the optics of that were hilariously bad.

I think CNY and WNY are kind of 50/50. Long Island used to be 50/50 but recently decided to go full blown red until Santos got kicked out and Republicans (once again) lost an election because they don’t understand how important early voting is. When Trump first got in and railed on the deep state, I also rolled my eyes. Then I saw how much power unelected career bureaucrats hold when it comes to the Pentagon and 3 letter agencies. We all pretty much agree that our govt killed JFK, correct? It just so happened to occur after he stated he would take a wrecking ball to the CIA. Ever since then, every President we’ve had has played ball. Until Trump. Regardless of what you think of him, he doesn’t.. and instead of indicting Presidents for actual war crimes, we now have a former President as a felon, potentially imprisoned… for bookkeeping. You don’t need to agree with me.. I didn’t believe we had puppet masters and a shadow govt that truly runs things at first either. I do now. I actually think it’s quite obvious.

Fwiw, I do think your side has all the power. I’ve consistently said as much. 90% media backing 90% education backing 90% hollywood backing 70% social media backing In terms of programming the culture, all conservatives have is podcasts & X. In terms of actual power, conservatives only really wield any of it in the Supreme Court.. for now. This is why you see Balkanization in this country. Due to being a Republic, when you lose power nationally, at least you can consolidate it on the state level (or local level.. Long Island is red in an otherwise blue New York state) And in regards to “the deep state”, something I didn’t believe in until halfway through the Trump Presidency.. For all his faults, he’s the only recent President to somewhat put America first and not start any unjust foreign wars. There’s no money to be made for contractors and politicians when the man in charge rejects globalism and expansion. And so, they will destroy him.

I don’t read a ton into this, but it is one of the first data points post-conviction.

Of all the choices going through his head in that moment, he went with “stop, turn, smile like a Batman villain”.

Between being tiny and acting like this, I’m starting to see why we passed on him and/or didn’t really covet him.
