Why do you keep thinking he’s peoples “hero”. To 30-35% of the country, maybe. He can’t win with just MAGA. If he wins the election, it’s with people like me who go back and forth on him, until we became solidified on voting for him yesterday. And then he still needs to peel off some suburban women, black men and non-biased indies.. which I think he will. But he’s certainly not a hero to us. I simply see him as a f*** you to what you support.

It’s early.. but I can say from the people I know in politics (on both sides) that this is NOT playing out how Dems thought it would pre-trial. It started to shift during the trial due to narratives developing and polls hardening. (The expectation was always that “convicted felon” would be a game changer) As the trial developed, those on both sides started to realize that likely won’t happen. Me, personally, I do think he still has some work to do with suburban women and non-lean independents. However… Dems started to worry during the trial and *so far* post-conviction, it’s been a nightmare for Dems. Not just the 34.8M of fundraising… it’s the 30% new donor figure. It’s tech guys like Shaun Maguire. It’s the sentiment developing that “I don’t like him but I have to vote for him as a bulwark against this bulls**t”. (Some) took a victory lap last night on certain networks, but the reaction is more muted today and this article has become the start of the blowback to Bragg and how this trial was handled… along with the developing buyers remorse of this prosecution.

Glad you’re on board. You’re profile picture makes you seem very stable, btw.

Not at all what I’m alluding to. What I’m referencing is the idea that any red state DA should be currently staffing up to find ways to indict powerful Dems in their state & then try them in a red district. Georgia would be a good start. Might take some time to find dirt on Ossoff, but Warnock shouldn’t be too difficult.

You think this stops if he loses? This all goes back in Pandora’s Box.. Not a chance.

This is the way. All roads lead to this now..

Anyone Want To Take A Vet Minimum Flier On Yannick Ngakoue?

Nah, let’s see what Solomon can do as a pass rush specialist. -
If the Bills can make it work this year without a highly paid WR, after what the Chiefs have been doing, you have to wonder if teams with high end QB’s might tell them once they get paid - the WR’s don’t. The caveat being the Chiefs have Kelce and the Bills are banking on Kincaid becoming a version of him.

I don't disagree with the Dorsey comments, but Brady did get the benefit of being able to "unleash" Allen. We clearly weren't doing that with Dorsey, and it's not sustainable to be doing that year in / year out. Allen needs to scramble though, just like Mahomes does all the time.. and under Dorsey, he was clearly coached not to do that, which made him way too tentative.

Slight pushback regarding the difficult part of the schedule (Dallas excluded), we did start running Allen more. I want to see us run a functioning Offense without needing the cheat code that is Allen running. Big games/Playoffs, run all he wants, but they had the right idea heading into last season, albeit the execution and mindset being way off as Allen was essentially afraid to run..at all.

What to do with the post June $10 M that will be available

The way we've structured this WR room for the Summer truly lends itself to the idea that we're not making a move there. At least not before the season. They're expecting Shakir to continue ascending, went out and targeted Samuel for a reason and expect Keon Coleman to be a factor so he needs to be given opportunities this Summer to get on the same page with Josh and improve on his areas of weakness. MVS and Hollins were brought in for specific reasons. Hollins as a character guy, size/run blocking and Special Teams. MVS as an outside deep threat. That's 5 locks. Beane likely pitched a fair battle for WR6 to guys like Hamler and Claypool, while also wanting to see what they have in Shorter and Shavers. IF we use some of this money, it seems highly likely it's for a defensive piece. Simmons seems unlikely, but potentially they inquire if Hyde gives them an indication he's not returning. A trade for a guy like Jonathan Allen makes sense as mentioned above, given he can play all over the DL. Could relegate Dashawn Williams to the PS, if we can stash him there, and carry 4 DT's, 5 DE's and a movable piece in Allen. -
Elam, so far, looks like 80% of Sauce Gardner.. If Sauce got called for holding and was playing in the wrong defense for his skillset.

Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start

Does he? I wonder if Kincaid and Bishop would agree.. -
One of Trump’s idiot staffers should’ve caught that in the video. Yet, again, we have you upset about words. Im upset about actions. The fact a quarter of Democrats are literal Nazis that want Israel exterminated. The fact that the closest we’ve ever gotten to a fascist government occurred under Biden during covid. Actions are worse than words. But that’s all you’ve got. Words.

Fair point, but neither has the physical attributes of Claypool .. not even close. And we’ve seen Claypool do it. No clue what happened to him, but it’s in there somewhere.

I think they just realized it was incredibly corny.
