Let me guess.. a bunch of white guys who weren’t born yet should apologize for this? We’re finally reaching a point in this country where the younger generation is cool with people of all color and/or sexual orientation. We can all vibe together and believe no one should be discriminated against for their skin color, religion or who they love. What we’re not doing is apologizing for stuff we had no part in and self reflecting on perceived systemic factors that only seem to be an issue when they affect one group of people. Those days are over. Unless youre an affluent white liberal. Then you pretend to care about these things, yet throw a fit when cultural enrichment moves into your neighborhood.

Things are going great everyone.

I can admit that climate change is real. It is. It’s been changing since the formation of this planet. To what extent man can affect that change is where the debate lies. And stuff like this reinforces the fact that so much of the climate agenda is propaganda. We should protect our environment. We should make gradual changes towards cleaner energy. But the gaslighting and manipulation is over the top and emblematic of this issue being used to push initiatives that don’t do a **** thing in the grand scheme. Furthermore, somehow, they all punish the middle class and allow the government more control .. funny how that works.

I think there is clearly some movement towards Biden based on multiple polls coming out as of late. If the whole “convicted felon” thing truly gets Biden re-elected again.. we’re cooked as a country. Even if you’re uneducated and relying on the mainstream media for info, the only reason Biden won’t also be a “convicted felon” is because Special Counsel deemed him too senile to stand trial.. then again, I’m sure ABC nightly news isn’t exactly relaying that info either. Trump also brings a lot of this on himself. He’s made no effort to appeal to Haley voters and the Good/McGuire race infuriated a lot of DeSantis folks who are non-committal on voting Trump. His Truth Social posts are an absolute joke, reflective of a petulant child and he’s lucky to have a financial commitment to stay off X, because at least is lessens the visibility of his daily nonsense. His pitching himself as Bush/Romney type Republican, which he actually is in policy, but with the fiery rhetoric of a nationalist. I’m not exactly sure who that appeals to, because the rhetoric turns off moderates and the policy/endorsements turn off conservatives. His ground game is woefully lacking behind Biden’s, even though Republicans have warned him of that since he became the foregone conclusion as nominee. He’s still the favorite to win, but he has very real weaknesses .. some media/Dem manipulated and some brought on himself, that are showing through in polling right now.

Is this the type of person getting their loans subsidized by taxpayers?.. because I am not passionate about this either way, but if this is what’s going on… yea, I’m passionately against this now.

DeSantis, Youngkin, Haley, Scott all run away with this election … especially Youngkin, who would win this by an electoral landslide we haven’t seen in a long time. I’m not sure if this country would elect Vivek. Bombastic Hindu… I don’t know. Id vote for him, but he’d better get a bit more serious & less hot take populist on foreign policy. (Even though I like some of his general points)

I hope you’re correct and appreciate the further context. Given how close it is, the Trump endorsement clearly moved the needle from Good keeping his seat to McGuire being nominated. And that would definitely be a valid reason as Republicans seem to do more to stop Republicans than Democrats could ever dream of.

Stuff like last night is what keeps me hesitant on being a firm Trump vote. Took out a top tier conservative to replace him with a moderate simp all because Good “betrayed” him. If he was the nominee, he’d put almost everywhere except the bluest of blue states in play. Absolute landslide.

Dont need to harp on anything from a year ago. Mainstream media is literally telling us, this week, that Biden videos are “selectively edited cheap fakes”. It’s a talking point from the WH with zero basis in reality. The videos aren’t edited .. in fact, videos being shown on NBC, ABC, CNN etc., when discussing the story are edited to make Biden look more competent. So unless you want zero outlets to exist.. the best we can do is push back. (Like was done on the abortion story) I have no problem when it’s pointed out sources I’ve used were wrong or biased. And im not calling on Orwellian censorship of outlets I disagree with. Same can’t be said for everyone.. and only one side is calling for mass censorship campaigns (when they themselves literally spread misinformation)

That bill was already addressed in this thread. It was a joke. I don’t disagree that the GOP doesn’t have any urgency to help Biden do anything on this issue …. but they should let him flail. He had 3+ years to go back to Trump’s border policy and instead inundated our county with pseudo-open borders. He owns it now. What his administration has done is deliberate. He’s failed Americans in his duty to protect our borders. People like myself, who have never viewed border/immigration as a big political issue now see this as THE issue. We see what’s happened in parts of Europe who have lost any semblance of their former culture and we don’t want it happening here. We don’t want fentanyl, terrorism and a welfare state streaming across the border with tacit approval from our leaders. And yall messsed up because you throught Hispanics would vibe with this policy. We do have to deal with home grown crime. Doesnt mean we need to willingly import more of it. Just this week we’ve had an illegal charged with the rape & murder of a mother of 5 and multiple terrorists arrested after being vetted and allowed into the county. You want to grapple with gun control, go ahead.. we can have that conversation (although I doubt it will be in good faith with your “bump stock” comment.. however we also have the 2nd Amendment. We don’t have any amendments that require us to import crime and a welfare state.

That bill codifies thousands of illegal border crossings per day. That bill was a joke and Trump was correct in his actions. Biden could’ve simply gone back to Trump era policy at anytime. He chose not to and is now panicking.
