Moss is getting more comfortable and it showed. He disappointed me on that long run though. He kept talking about making people make business decisions and he had some db standing at the 10 as the only thing between him and the goalline and be neither bowled him over or juked him or stiff armed him. He kind of gave in to a casual tackle. Where was the “business decision” there, it looked like he made it not the other way around.....

The cover 2 zone isn’t that big a deal with both Brown and Diggs available. It’s the lack of Brown going deep that is hurting the longer routes, not just coverage. Team can’t double Diggs constantly when they have Brown and Diggs running deep. The safeties are making the easy choice now.

Watching that game all I thought was ....uh oh Belicheat won’t get beat 3 games in a row. We better be prepared for every wacky blitz, trick play , and punt blocking formation in the rule book....

Beating our nemesis and then Seattle back to back would be a good start toward erasing our image of only beating losers. Burying the Pats dynasty and then beating the likely MVP would be big time wins....

If they want to make a true statement beat the Pats and then go out and outscore Seattle. Then the league will be put back on notice again. I still won’t expect a victory over the Pats no matter how bad they have looked until we prove it on the field. We have to get by that psychological hump....

This sums up what is a wrong take and a right take... a right take is out DL is terrible. AJ doing nothing just adds to that misery. The wrong take, which I have seen in this board over and over, is that we aren’t blitzing enough or as much as we used to. That’s incorrect. They showed a graphic on one of the last 2 games showing we were actually one of the top blitzing teams in the league. ( I believe it was in the neighborhood of 35%) So if you can’t blitz and get there, your DL sucks but you have even bigger problems because it means you don’t have the talent to cover long enough man on man OR your second tier of rushers aren’t hiding their blitz well. Any way you slice it, we aren’t getting to the QB, we are manhandled at the line of scrimmage, and it’s brutal to watch. I feel like we have totally missed on value on our last 3 DL picks.

So clearing cap space ...when is the Vikings trade for defense coming ???

I agree with it being a poor conservative gameplan likely due to weather. However Andy Reid executed the same gameplan and racked up 466 yards. In the early 90s the great teams could execute the heavy running game gameplan also even though they were a spread pass team. This team just does not have the talent on the Lines to win the ropeadope with a team a good as KC.

Let’s face it we got dominated on both sides of the ball in the trenches....we got run over on defense and on offense every first down we either ran for 2-3 yards or Josh was running for his life. Josh didn’t have a clean pocket all game.... just an all around a-whopping.... if this is how we are going to play on prime time we will be 0 for December ... we better put up 45 on the Jets is all I can say.

I was very happy to see Harry not dressing. I agree but having Harry and Murphy sitting helps us. Both are overrated coach’s pets who shouldn’t be in the field as much as they are. They both are backups on most teams. Time to get some serious play out of others and maybe we get pressure today... We’re going to rush Ed Oliver and drop 10 into coverage.....

I want us to beat the Chiefs but I don’t NEED us to beat the Chiefs. I expected us to be 5-2 going to play NE. I want us to beat the Chiefs. I NEED us to beat the Pats. Being 5-3 after a 4-0 start would change the confidence of this team in my mind. That said, without Milano we give up 75yds and 2 TDS to Kelce and lose 33-27. Hope I am wildly wrong today and our defense suddenly materializes....

How about this ...just beat the Titans AND the Chiefs and no one disputes who is #1 as we would be 2 up on the Chiefs with a win over them so effectively 3 up.
