    Not having Tre against an actually competent passing offense really hurts. Defense puts everything into defending the pass, gets gashed on the ground. Move anyone up, Mahomes exposes our weak DBs.

    Those 2 x 1st round picks & the 3rd rounder they traded away to get Stafford finally paid off. They can officially say Stafford got them 1 game further than Goff last year.

    True, but at the same time, the offense hasn't been executing for s***! And players (other than Stafford) seem hellbent on choking away the game for them.

    At this point I think his team just benefits by simply having him exist. He doesn't even have to play well. They just play out of their minds at a every point thinking "we got Brady, we can do it!" It's getting stupid how everything just falls into place no matter what the situation.

    I'd rather preemptively call fair catch for every punt than put McKenzie back there. Even if we had 0 return yards, at least the offense would get a possession. Better than giving the opponent a free drive in our own territory...
