  1. Even if Dawkins isn't the best Tackle out there, I love how much he loves Buffalo, the Bills franchise, Allen & the fans. It's not often that one of your most outspoken players is an offensive linemen, but I hope he retires a Bill.
  2. The Bills have: 1 x 1st rounder 1 x 2nd rounder 2 x 4th rounders 3 x 5th rounders 3 x 6th rounders 1 x 7th rounder Are we really relying on 7 x 5th round picks to all be signed & fill our roster needs? Plenty of those will be bundled to move around in the draft, but 5th/6th/7th rounders aren't netting you too much either way. Then again, our 6th & 7th round CBs contributed more than our 1st round CB, so maybe we'll get lucky.
  3. No, we have nowhere near enough "elite" talent. Elite: 1. Josh Allen 2. Matt Milano (when healthy) Maybe Elite: 1. Stefon Diggs - Used to be elite, but age or commitment is slowing him down 2. Ed Oliver - Great season last year, but didn't make an impact in the KC game (unlike Chris Jones on the opposite side of the field) There are some good players a tier below, but not "elite." Go back a few years, and White, Hyde & Poyer would definitely be on that list. And with our cap situation, Beane will have to draft extremely well this year to fix that issue.
  4. I'm obsessively refreshing this page & others, hoping to see the Bills somehow get under the cap. This is not healthy!
  5. I'd love to have Bosa here. He's guaranteed 10+ sacks when healthy, but that's the rub. He's missed 20 games the last 2 seasons, so availability is a huge concern.
  6. Maybe Curtis Samuel? Or (dream scenario) find a way to trade for Brandon Aiyuk since he's on the last year of his contract, wants to get paid soon, and are cap situation will be much better next year if we want to find a way to extend him? Yeah right... wishful thinking, but a man can dream! Regarding other positions, I'd take Josh Jacobs more than most of the RBs out there. I'm not as sold on Cook being the incumbent starter as much as some people. Outside of the Cowboys game, he was averaging less than 4 ypc almost every other game the 2nd half of the season. Connor Williams would be a good replacement for Mitch Morse (if we could afford him). He'll be coming off a torn ACL, but he's 26 & was considered a top 3 center when healthy. I doubt any of these come true given our cap situation, but the cap situation is also why I've barely put much effort into seriously scoping out FA's this year. I'm guessing most of the guys we sign are players I've never heard of or am only vaguely familiar with.
  7. Don't forget Hyde's neck injury that took him out for most of the 2022 season, with Poyer battling injuries off & on as well.
  8. That's pretty insane... and tempting. But I'm on record for wanting to go all-in on offense, as it's the only way I can see us realistically getting past the Chiefs in the playoffs. No matter how highly ranked our defense is, it'll never be good enough to shutdown Mahomes/Kelce/Reid in the postseason. Our QB is great, so let's outgun them. BUT, a guy with this size having this kind of athleticism sounds amazing if he can reach his full potential.
  9. But won't that just open up a large amount of seats for people looking to just flip tickets each week? I honestly have no idea the rules or economics of these things, but I'd assume there's a market for people buying up seats at any NFL stadium for the explicit reason to resell tickets. Can people who live nowhere near the market buy PSLs to then secure seating to resell to visiting team fans? If so, we might see a larger % of away team fans than we currently do.
  10. I remember having a binder filled with 90's Bills stuff, along with some other random items I've collected over the years. Signed Thurman Thomas Jersey Signed Eric Moulds Rookie card Signed Marv Levy HOF Football And that's about the only ones I remember off the top of my head. Doubt they're worth much, but still cool.
  11. I feel the same as I always have... He's not a longterm answer for this team. Hopefully he'll make me eat my words later & prove me wrong, but I don't see it. He has made a handful of memorable plays, so I'll always appreciate that.
  12. I look forward to signing him in 2 years, when he's assuredly still getting 1,000+ yards each season.
  13. If we do, I'll be the one spamming! This guy has never had a season of less than 1,000 yards, regardless of who is throwing to him! Cut everyone but Josh & sign him!
  14. All you gotta do is draft the best player and you're set! Never understood why teams draft bad players... are they dumb or something?
  15. I will turn around & immediately jump out my window if we use another 1st on an Edge player. Unfortunately, I won't fall far from the first floor, but at least I'll know the intent was to smash my head in frustration 😅
  16. Even though the cap is supposedly not real, it sure does have a huge impact on team building & who we can potentially sign! 😉 Unfortunately, it feels like we're going to be pretty limited for another off-season, so we once again will be looking towards the draft for help. I'm excited either way, if only to see a healthy Milano & Bernard back out there, & Kincaid with a year of experience under his belt!
  17. I mostly agree, but Douglas isn't really "old" either. He's 29 now, will be 30 next season, but still has a couple seasons of good football left in the tank. Most importantly to me, he can help us win a Super Bowl next year. We saw what can happen with injuries, especially in our secondary, so I'm still hoping they can figure out a way to keep him. Then again, I'm not like a lot of people on here who are optimistic about Elam. He's made some clutch plays, but I don't have much confidence in him overall.
  18. This dude is just a head case... Went from highly touted Clemson guy, to his stock steadily plummeting everywhere he goes. Can't even get his crap together in the CFL. People can stress being patient & not passing judgement, but that boat has sailed long ago for me.
  19. I'd much prefer that. It'd certainly be preferable to seeing 90% of kicks result in a touchback.
  20. So does that mean we're "only" $42 million over the cap now? 😅 Still got a lot of work to do, but every little bit helps.
  21. 1st round picks are stll 1st round picks though... They're all expected to be good players. When you see 2nd round, 3rd round, 4th round, etc. picks breaking out & becoming stars every year, you'd like to think your team will find those guys too. But if not, you'd at least hope they hit on their 1st rounders. It's not enough to just avoid busts, it's also avoiding situations like Sammy Watkins... trading away extra picks & moving up for a guy who ends up being worse than several other WRs that came later. You also don't want to settle for "serviceable" or "solid." You want your 1st rounders to make a big impact. I think Greg has been pretty good. But the organization went Into that draft hellbent on fixing the pass rush to stop the Chiefs, then failed so hard they immediately spent 100+ million on a 33 year old DE the next off-season. That's a lot of money & resources spent to get a "solid" or "pretty good" pass rush.
  22. Given this board's tendency to overreact to everything, this is absolutely hilarious news 🤣 Seeing as how we're on page 6 already, I'm sure the reactions are amazing!
  23. I hope it does well too, and it seems wild to me that spring football has always had such a tough time catching on. Given how popular the sport is, you'd think most other football fans would want to see it succeed as well. I wonder if the reason they fail is partially due to targeting large markets that have a million better things to do, when they might have more success by giving smaller markets without pro football their own team. I feel like these leagues struggle to establish any dedicated following, but placing teams in smaller, more loyal markets may help build a solid foundation. The XFL saw this with the St Loius Battlehawks, and that's what the Spring Leagues should look to replicate.
  24. Not sure how feasible it would be, but I'd take him over any of the options being thrown around. Considering the QBs he's had throwing to him, his numbers are even more impressive. Reminds me of what Eric Moulds was able to do despite the inconsistency surrounding him.
  25. Just came here to see if anyone posted yet... This is a scarily accurate portrayal of being a Bills fan. At least for me.
