  1. Ok, this is Josh's chance to 100% redeem himself!
  2. Josh caused us to lose the coin toss! IS HE JUST TRYING TO THROW AWAY THE GAME?!?!?!! ?
  3. Wait, what?! He's had AMPLE opportunity today to prove he's who people want him to be, but it's entirely on him this entire 2nd half for crumbling under the pressure. The turnovers, the bad passes, the sacks taking us out of FG range....hell, the toss with 1:03 left for no reason that could've cost us the game was proof enough the pressure has dramatically affected his mentality.
  4. Thank you Hauschka for doing your job! And thank you defense for even giving us a chance to erase our previous screw up.
  5. Can we just get it over with & go for the FG? I'm more worried about Allen...
  6. Crap, I'm more stressed having Allen back there than just going for the FG & getting it over with
  7. Long FG, but it's better than leaving it up to Allen at this point.
  8. Can't blame play calling. It's very obvious where the issue has been the entire 2nd half.
  9. Not even close. Tell that to the Texans who made critical plays 3rd down, even after doing nothing on 1st & 2nd down. And considering all we needed was a freaking FG, we could've just kneeled every down & did better than what Josh did.
  10. He just doesn't know what he's supposed to do in the most obvious situations. It's incredible how consistently bad when presented with the most basic things.
  11. Wow...Allen taking a sack on a crucial 3rd down again to take us out of FG range. We've seen that allllll year
  12. After the last pass attempt, why wouldn't you run it? You have the 2 minute warning coming up, and you don't want to stop the clock. It's smarter to get to the 2 min warning and get a 1st, then you can score & run down the clock. Hoping Allen makes a pass under pressure when he hasn't even been consistent with a clean pocket isn't the best strategy.
  13. And now we can see why letting our offense just durdle around all game and hoping our defense keeps it close isn't a good strategy. We've had numerous chances the past 3 drives to put this game out of reach, now we need a comeback. Let's see if all those 4th quarter comebacks earlier in the year that people always reference actually matter now. Best 4th quarter passer rating right? Let's see it.
  14. The 4th quarter just started, and our second half drives resulted in a fumble by Allen and a 3 & out. That's why we have 6 passes. THINK people. Context matters.
  15. And when people talk about being unable to pass for 300 yards, it's drives like we've just seen that prevent Allen from doing so... Those numbers don't matter, but they come when you're asked to carry your weight & make plays through the air when you're needed. Completing simple passes and keeping drives alive will naturally lead to those stats, even though the stats themselves don't matter. But we needed way more from him the past 3-4 drives, and it's not bad play calling that's slowing him down.
  16. Well the playcalling is showing that we have been playing to win. They're putting a lot of faith in Josh, and he was doing a fairly good job of backing it up until the last couple drives.
  17. Ok, so now the offense just REALLY needs to do their job...again. And Josh needs to figure out how to hold onto a football & fast. I thought big hands were supposed to help with that? lol
  18. And this is what happens when the offense is rarely a threat to do anything all game. 1 TD and a handful of FG's is just asking to let them back in the game
  19. We're still in full control of the outcome of this game. Offense needs to step up, and there won't be a problem.
  20. "Ball should come out of his hand quick here." ....Holds on to ball & takes sack. Why does this always happen in the redzone? :/
  21. This is a hard game to predict. When you actually look at how Allen has played, especially recently, it's hard to imagine him leading a team to a post season victory. But when you consider the Texans & their inconsistencies and injuries, I can see our defense keeping us in it long enough for us to eventually come up with something offensively. I really don't even feel confident enough to make a prediction one way or another yet. Have to watch more on Houston.
