  1. Probably not. When you don't have the talent & can't make adjustments, it's likely every team is just going to keep on attacking the same way. Doesn't mean we'll lose, but our defense went from being a source of pride to something I'm genuinely afraid to watch every time they step on the field.
  2. Yes. After he killed my pet tarantula & dug up my flower bed, I'm afraid he'll come for my virginity next.
  3. If Simms is ripping into the Bills, you really should listen, because that's definitely not something he wants to do. Simms loves the Bills & loves Allen. He sounds pissed.
  4. It doesn't matter if we went 0-16 every year with those uniforms before or after then, they are still the only uniforms shown during highlights of our best years. Aside from all that, I just like them better. When I was a 5 year old kid growing up in Virginia, surrounded by Redskins & Cowboys fans, I became the lone Bills fan in the entire massive family because of those uniforms & helmets. Art was my only talent, from a really young age, and I gravitated towards things that appealed to me visually & aesthetically. Compared to the ugly Redskins colors, I thought the uniforms & helmet coloring was beautiful. Compared to the Cowboys logo, I thought that charging Buffalo on a red background looked spectacular. That got me into football, and I immediately dove in head first. When I was older, I asked my dad why he never tried to make me a Redskins fan. He said he was just happy I enjoyed football & picked up on it so fast, so he wanted to encourage me to go watch whatever team I liked. Luckily the Bills were good back then, so I got to watch some great games. But if it weren't for that uniform & color scheme, I might've grown up a fan of some other team. /rant
  5. That's awesome, I hope your son attends many more games to come! I've only been able to take my wife once, but man do I try to convince her every year we need to go again. I've been to many college football games though, and I'd still take going to a Bills game every time. I don't even tailgate since I really don't know anyone there, but the people we do meet are always awesome. There was only one time I went where I met a couple of pricks, and of course, they ended up being Jets fans (wasn't even a Jets game going on, but they were all wearing Jets jerseys anyway). Can't wait to go back when we can attend games again. He was just trying to prove my point about Buffalonians by using that line incorrectly 😂 We're getting very meta now.
  6. As opposed to fake people from Buffalo? Lol I'm just messing with you. I'm not from Buffalo, though I wish I was. Love the city.
  7. I agree on the overall message regarding Allen, but I don't see how he wasn't one of the main reasons we were poor on offense the majority of the game. He was 9 for 22 & had only 66 yards passing mid-late in the 4th quarter... he was a primary reason we weren't getting those 1st downs, not extending drives, not scoring, and sending our defense back on the field quickly after they just came off (and god knows we didn't want them back out there). It felt like Tyrod in his last season here. Defense played poorly & was exhausted, but when they would finally manage to make a stop, the offense just went out there for a minute or 2, then sent the D right back out there to continue getting pummeled. Again, I don't think this shows Allen is bad all of a sudden...but accurate passing clearly would've made a big difference (as would catching the ball when they are good passes).
  8. The grammar, punctuation & drunken rambling of it all does not paint a bright picture of those from Buffalo 🤣
  9. I can't say enough how much I miss the 90's field & endzone + those helmets. They just bring back all the nostalgia of our most successful period in franchise history.
  10. Where's Rex Ryan when ya need him? He'd drop our DT's into coverage...you know, just to throw everyone off.
  11. The Jets always play us tough at least once a year. I'm just praying we escape with a win, don't care if it's the ugliest game ever...or if we blow a 50 point lead & have to kick a 65 yard FG to win. Just PLEASE win! lol
  12. You put into words exactly what I've been most frustrated with and kept me away from being sold on Allen for so long. It's like he reads the boards, watches all the talk around "big" games, then flounders when the moment comes. Against teams we are expected to beat, he goes out and has fun. And yeah, only 4th quarter comebacks are from games we already had been winning, yet let slip away from doing nothing in the 3rd/ most of the 4th.
  13. Thank you. Criticizing players isn't the same as being a fair-weather fan. As long as you're not actively rooting for them to fail or only watching when times are good, you're still just as much a fan as anyone.
  14. We need a Ted Williams/Sam Adams fat boy in the middle right now. Hell, I'd take failure draft pick OL Mike Williams' fat a** to just stumble into the center at this point.
  15. Yup. Was obvious last year, and just as glaring this year. Even worse is when you know the opponent will come out making the appropriate adjustments, and the Bills will take the quarter off.
  16. Nope. He's good, and he put us in great position all game again today. Defense just couldn't capitalize.
  17. Frazier can coach a defense. Been saying it since day 1, people underestimated Star's importance to this line, and our defensive draft picks haven't panned out.
  18. I think you need to rewatch the game... I knew people would just forget the actual context of the game & go back to HC/OC blaming as soon as we started losing. The opening drive was indicative of the ***EXECUTION ON THE FIELD*** throughout the game. Good play calls, failure to connect. If Allen threw better passes, if receivers caught the good passes, if we didn't do dumb things like false starts on crucial downs, nobody would've complained. McDermott doesn't make people drop passes or overthrow receivers.
  19. I swear, people get SO sensitive about such trivial things. They weren't biased, nor were they saying Allen was a bad player. They brought up the questions surrounding his accuracy throughout his entire life, then he continued his poor play of last week into this week. Were they supposed to just ignore it? Stay quiet on all the open passes that were overthrown? See his 9/21 for 66 yards passing middle of the 4th & not talk about him not making passes? It's like people are so used to only following the news that repeats their own opinions, follow sites & outlets that echo what they already believe, and now expect sports commentary to reflect that too. I also want to hear great things about Allen, and guess what? That's 99% of what we were hearing for the first 4 games!
  20. These overly sensitive posts never age well... "wHy wE dOnT giT mOaR ReSpekt!?" Because consistency matters in the NFL, and people aren't going to believe in you if you show you're not up to the task. Oh no! The DL's manhood was questioned! And? It should be, and she was clearly right to do so.
  21. Bingo. Bass didn't go 3 & out or fail to move the ball. He didn't have anything to do with the offense that couldn't capitalize on the few stops our defense DID make. And he surely wasn't 9/21 for 66 yards mid 4th quarter... We were lucky to even get that turnover in the last seconds of the half. Even if he nailed it, nothing would've changed considering how inept the offense was & how bad our defense was manhandled.
  22. Ugh... I wasn't worried after last week, but this game has me really concerned about Allen. People screaming about him being the MVP & not getting enough respect were obviously overcompensating, but I still thought he made genuine growth as a player. Now it seems like he forgot all that, or just let it go to his head.
  23. NFL should give the option for a 3 point, drop kick play after TD's, just for the extra excitement factor 😉
  24. They already called them for it once. KC has been much more penalized than the Bills today. Our penalties all came right at the end, and were all very blatant themselves.
