  1. Only if it results in a change of HC & an offensive-minded replacement. If it's just another year with McD, may as well back into the playoffs & flame out.
  2. I feel more confident than last year, though that has more to do with the relative weakness of the competition. Last year, the Bills looked extremely shakey the later we got into the season. It was pretty obvious they weren't long for the playoffs. This year is similar, but the competition is much more beatable. Baltimore is the one exception, but most likely we'd have to wait until the AFCCG to even play them (assuming Bills get into the playoffs via the straight-forward way).
  3. Nick Wright actually made a point I agree with today (among many I disagree with). He said if the Steelers lose Saturday, he expects the Bills will play significantly better Sunday knowing they're only playing for seeding. But if Steelers win, the Bills having 24 hours digesting the added pressure will make them come out tight & play worse. Leadership isn't as strong this year, and McDermott's voice may not be connecting like it once was. I also just believe Josh absorbs all the stress & chatter fans do.
  4. Well damn, I'm behind the times. Thanks for the correction. In that case, change it to "questionable," just something so that the world is aware he's dealing with something significant (allegedly).
  5. They should've just listed him as "Probable" in the weekly injury reports, as that would at least take SOME of the heat off him. Joe Burrow got a free pass for being one of the worst QBs in the league the first 3 or 4 weeks (statistically), as did Lawrence for recent struggles. I don't buy the excuse "that'll just make people target him more!" either. They're already trying to do that, especially since they know they'll get opportunities with him running a lot. If the injury is anywhere as notable as that tweet makes it out to be, they're doing him a disservice by trying to hide it.
  6. No, he just makes a lot bad decisions. The Bills are a way more successful team when Josh isn't throwing a bunch. Knowing the expectations are so high next week, I'm worried for his mental health.
  7. The narrative is what it is for a reason. If you go under any video, article or social media post that mentions Josh Allen as MVP, fans of every other team immediately push back. I posted this snapshot of comments earlier, but today just serves as more ammunition for these people:
  8. It's his usual crumble in the big moment type of stuff... 6 years in the league, and he still makes some of the worst decisions I've ever seen. We can talk about how talented he is all we want, but we can't manifest him into being a player he's not. There's a reason he can't string together 2 straight games without an INT, and it's painful to watch.
  9. Imagine losing the turnover battle 4 to 1 on the road, with a QB who's got a 34.3 passer rating & 3 INTs by half time.... yet you're only down by SIX POINTS! 😑
  10. Even with 3 INTs, Bailey Zappe has a better passer rating than Allen... 22.9 passer rating is Peterman levels of suck.
  11. The Pats have 4 turnovers & you only manage to be winning by 6 points at home? This offense is still broken.
  12. That's not how you win games. Stop killing your team.
  13. This is a thing I've often thought about, and so many things about that scenario just feel surreal. Like after decades of idoliznig those Bills teams of old, a single Super Bowl win would skyrocket a bunch of players permanently above those 80's-90's era legends. Bruce, Jimbo, Thurman, Reed, Lofton, Levy, Talley, Tasker, etc. all Bills icons, but Allen, Diggs, Cook, Von, Oliver, Hyde, Poyer, Bernard, Gabe, McDermott, etc. would have earned our first Lombardi. People would have their debates saying Bruce or Thomas were better individual players, but ultimately a SB win creates a new group of legends for this generation. They'll become the new go-to players that future fans will tell their kids about.
  14. Hey, thanks for reminding me! It's my mom's birthday too, and I forgot back then we were out for dinner, and the restaurant had the Bengals game on in the background. I nearly knocked our table over jumping up cheering 😂 Here's to hoping we have similar luck this year. Happy birthday, hope it's a great one!
  15. He's just so fast that he may still just blow right by the coverage 😅
  16. 30-23 Bills The Pats are 2-2 in their last 4 games, with both wins coming on the road against the Steelers & Broncos. If we don't turn it over, the score won't be nearly as close.
  17. Remember years ago when we had nothing to play for, then KO'd the Fitzpatrick Jets from getting in the playoffs? Even though we have Miami after this, it'd still feel the same way... Hard to imagine winning in the playoffs if the Pats sweep us 😅
  18. No wonder we haven't won a SB yet... He's taking advantage of our Applebee's & low standards!
  19. He can earn free food & drinks for LIFE in Western New York if he can win a SB. So how much is that worth? 🙃
  20. Everyone is correct about the Browns/Flacco turning it over a lot, but the Browns defense is good at mitigating/balancing things out. In the last 4 games: Browns - 3 turnovers / Jags - 4 turnovers Browns - 3 turnovers / Bears - 3 turnovers Browns - 2 turnovers / Texans - 2 turnovers Browns - 3 turnovers / Jets - 2 turnovers Granted, none of the last 4 teams are great, but it does show the Browns are very opportunistic. If the Bills went on the road & turned it over 2-3 times against this team, it's very unlikely they would win. Aside from the Browns, the Bills are a mixed bag on the road in general. There's not a specific team I'd be most worried about, but the Bills are 7-1 this year when they limit themselves to 1 or 0 turnovers.
  21. Guess I'm stuck watching Miami vs Baltimore this week. Buffalo... I'm trusting you here! Just because I take my eyes off of you for one game, doesn't mean you can go out partying & acting all willy nilly with your playoff hopes!
  22. The only thing I got was the joke gift, but it definitely gave me a good laugh 😄
  23. Exactly! The NFL only cares about having more TOTAL viewers. LA's 12% household viewership still provided nearly 68,000 more households than if 100% of the Buffalo market had tuned in. I agree with the OP in that the Chargers would've been better served had they been the ones moving to Vegas, but in reality they had a solid existing fanbase & decent sized market in San Diego to begin with. San Diego is the 30th ranked TV media market in North America (with 1,122,930 households & about 3.1 million viewers), ranking above other markets like Kansas City, Buffalo, Cincinnati, New Orleans, etc. and just one spot below Baltimore. Not the largest market, but at least they sold out home games & were a priority to their market.
