Against the most athletic defense in the NFL he made enough plays to win the game. You come away from this game thinking Allen is holding the team back your watching a differant game.

His best 2 passes came back due to penalties. If you watch the game he is placing the ball well. Jacksonville is very good on defense and Allen has handled them so far.

Jacksonville's defense is more talented then Buffalo's, but Buffalo is getting similar production out of their defense for 40 cents to the dollar compared to Jacksonville. Jacksonville is still one of the best defenses in the league. Probably the most talented at all levels. I think you will see him play similar to how he played vs Houston. Going to be the same kind of game. I think Mcdermott will be able to make Bortles uncomfortable. Any performance that results into a win for Buffalo is an improvement for Allen at this point. Buffalo doesnt have the players to look like KC, LA, or NO on offense. It's going to have to be a bit of an ugly game. Whichever Qb makes a few big plays will win the game imo.

The 2 passes to Benjamin were his best of the season. They score on that drive and they win the game with Allen at Qb imo. His performance vs Minnestoa wasnt bad either. Yeah Marriota was worst and Buffalo beat a playoff team. Barkley completed 15 passes, 2 dropped interceptions, obviously the future lol.

He is simply a better player. He is more accurate, more athletic, and a better arm. Allen is the leader of the offense. Against a tough aggressive defense Allen will have to make some wow plays for Buffalo to stay in the game. His game vs Minnestoa and Houston are easily forgotten.

I understand what you are saying. You play small they will run power all day. Defense would much rather give up a 70 yard bomb vs 10 runs for 70 yards and that same td. Both lines and backs would do that vs small fronts.

That's a wrong observation. If Kc or La went zone and played 1 or 0 Lbs. Hunt and Gurley would have ran for 200 yards. They are both well balanced and dictate personal to the defense. No different than the 90's Bill's, greatest show on turf Rams. The difference is the rules have changed. No contact down the feild. No real ability to hit wrs in the air. However, no matter the era what Reid and Mcvay have in terms of talent and play calling would be dynamic anywhere.

What advantage does Barkley have at Quarterback over Allen? None. Who is the more talented player? Allen. Allen gives the 2018 Buffalo Bill's the best chance at winning. Yes. And Minnesota was more impressive than than the Jets. It is like most think Allen's play was the reason they lost to the Ravens, Colts, Patriots, and Bears. Allen made his best 2 throws of the season right before getting injured vs the Texans. He gives Buffalo a better chance at beating Jacksonville.

Barkley completed 15 passes. He wasnt Aaron Rodgers. The Jets are a dumpster fire. Allen healthy gives Buffalo the best chance to win. He led them to 2 victories over probable playoff teams. Imo he was on his way to beating the Texans before getting hurt.

Allen showed promise. Allen should have been the starter since May. That cant be undone. Healthy after the bye you start Allen. Allen has the better arm, is more mobile and has more potential than anyone Buffalo has. Beating the Vikings on the road vs beating the Jets on the road is 10X more impressive.

The season at this point is getting Allen experience and enough time under center to evaluate him as a player. He showed flashes of being very promising. If the next 6 weeks Allen looks good and Buffalo can win more than lose they are set up perfectly for next year.
