  1. ***** now I have to delete and repost the tweet.
  2. Thanks, I'm stealing this. Letting you know cuz I'm a gentleman.
  3. Coming out of a huge contract like that, he's not going to sign anywhere with an established starter. I thought Brady was on a two year, fully guaranteed deal?
  4. Millions of dollars in new player contracts could shift on the last game. Week 17 is often called a job application for a reason.
  5. The thing I object to about that article (and the data they derived it from) is that they directly compare the number of black PLAYERS to the number of black COACHES and GMs, as if they directly relate. They are completely different occupations and should only be tracking how many black qualified applicants there are. How many black people go into athletics isn't necessarily the same as how many black people go into coaching and office/organizational management. Then again, I'm one of those weirdos who only care about an applicant's ability to get the job done, not about quotas. Our next coach or GM could be a black trans woman two-souled polyamorous wolfkin in a wheelchair for all I care as long as they produce results.
  6. Because Covid could strike the Browns. *cough*
  7. Isn't the general consensus that Josh is still going to play some, at least until we get a good lead or Pittsburg falls behind? And why would we play emergency Covid QB Fromm over our regular backup Barkley who would actually play if Josh goes down?
  8. Young 4th round pick with decent size and speed, could be an asset next year with our coaching if healthy. Potential good 3rd/4th WR option for the future? Injury history less of a concern on the fringes of an already stacked receiving corps.
  9. Don't understand how having to fight all game to get through a surprisingly stout O-line only to have to chase around a mobile QB would leave them a bit lacking at the end of a game against a fresh-legged bulldozer? Moss is going to be an asset in the playoffs.
  10. The one thing the Wilsons did right was ensure the team would be sold to someone who actually cared about Buffalo.
  11. I love the guy responding to that saying it's "not sustainable" because he had a low completion percentage that last two years, completely ignoring how/why he improved. Keeps flipping between saying the past doesn't matter, and trying to use the past as evidence of his claim. Just another clown clinging to the mantra of "you can't teach accuracy".
  12. "Project QB who will bust" "RB who throws sometimes" "You can't teach accuracy" Casually demolishes team passing records including completion %. The future textbook on how to rebuild a football team will be a single line that reads "See 2017-2020 Buffalo Bills".
  13. A truth so nice you said it twice.
  14. I think it was more true for coaches like Tony Gungy who had his players master the basics so much that they could tell the other team what they were going to do and wouldn't be stopped. He had his players skilled/strong enough that simple football worked for him. We were criticized for years for having simple playbooks, because our mediocre roster couldn't dominate the basics like that.
  15. I remember as a kid, questioning the "run to set up the pass" thing for the same obvious reason of there already being 8 in the box what are we setting up? We bash our head into that brick wall on first and second down, then pass into dime coverage on third and long, then punt. If it was that obvious to a child, it must have been frustrating trying to convince set-in-their-ways radio talking heads.
  16. Josh could have had his fifth OPOW if he'd have shared the TD love a bit more heh. I'm sure Singletary will finally get one next week.
  17. This means more records for Allen and the offense?
  18. I never understand the freak outs over one individual play, as if that one play was more important than scores by the offense, stops made by the defense, kicks made by the kicker, etc at any other point in the game. Just like how week 1 counts the same in the win column as week 17.
  19. Not trying to be a downer, but I find it odd that the story says "2 years ago when Dalton sent us to the playoffs", but this was posted yesterday. Could be a fake copypasta.
  20. The bright white(ish) quote boxes are really jarring in dark mode.
  21. We were so confident in the win yesterday, we actually cheered Roberts' turnover because it increased the chances of fast points being scored. I had the over for the game, and my friend had the first half over on his prop bets. My friend ended up winning his ticket because the last thing he needed was the over on Singletary rushing yards, which wasn't looking good until he smashed the over with a single rush at the end. I was telling him all game that he has the ability to break big gains, and that we would run more towards the end with a big lead. Only problem was they were going more with Moss... Well darn, I had Miami winning by 4 in my big stupid parlay bet ($10 bet to win over $3100). I think my dad also has them in his $3 bet to win $150k.
  22. I want to see that "What do you mean I can't get away with illegal contact/pass interference on EVERY play" look.
  23. "Feeling cute, might destroy New England later."
