I blame them for missing a blatant penalty, yes. As in clearly visible on film on a play that gave them 10+ yards on a run right past the held defender.
The offense is better run blocking away from being exactly where it needs to be.
The best RB in the league won't do squat behind bad run blocking. Singletary and Moss can carry us just fine if there was the occasional hole for them to hit.
Just list who the next 5-10 QBs are, you don't need to pointlessly write "300 yards, nobody. 350 yards, nobody." You can save the wasted formatting space to add tracking for a touchdowns list.
When I read the comment about him being the 4th best pass blocking center, it made me wonder how responsible he might be for the lackluster run blocking.
Just in this game I've seen several more egregious violations than what Moss did, and these aren't even bad enough to be penalties. It's definitely an ongoing trend.
I'm seeing a Waterboy style situation where Denver just kneels every down and tries to win the game on defensive and special teams scores. Miami's apparently done just about that earlier in the season.
