    A few years ago I was driving on I-86 when I saw a deer standing on the shoulder of the road. There was a truck behind me. Just as I drove past the deer, it leapt into the road. I looked in the rear-view mirror and saw it broadside the truck. Not a pretty sight.

    If the Cincy/Baltimore game had gone down exactly the same way, but in week 12 instead of 17, and all the Bills needed in week 17 was to "win and they're in," then this would be a non-story. All that matters is the overall W-L record, not the order in which the wins occurred. Focusing on the Bengals just perpetuates the idea that the Bills "backed into" the playoffs.

    I don't follow college football, so I really have no opinion of him as a QB. However, since he's now a member of the Bills, I am most certainly a fan of Josh Allen.

    Agreed. That's the best thing for Allen, and if they don't rush him in there, then that's probably because AJ is at least serviceable.
