  1. Narrative on Buffalo will not change until they either make the SB OR lose in playoffs OR were to miss the playoffs. The 1st scenario would show progress, 2nd would show they are the same as last few years, and 3rd would justify the regression talk. Truthfully the pressure is on the Jets given the hype and build up with Rodgers. Outside of a shootout style loss like 31-30 or something where at Rodgers looks real and fans can be excited that the offense looks real and they just lost a good game to a good team, the narrative would get tough quick on NY if they do not win.
  2. I have not seen it so lock it up and redirect if so. Bills 25 Jets 19 Weird weird game with a safety for the Bills, Jets moving the ball but stalling for FGs instead of TDs, and a failed hail mary for Rodgers late as WNY holds their breath. Bills jump out to an early 7-0 lead courtesy of Allen to Davis on a slant, but Rodgers gets back to back FG drives to get Jets within one mid 2nd quarter. A punt return miscue pins the Jets on their goaline and Buffalo gets the safety and the ball but the Bills have to settle for FG and go up 12-6. Rodgers leads the Jets for a TD drive right before half sending the NY faithful into a frenzy and the Jets up 13-12 at half. The Bills get a Tre White INT, but have to settle for a FG go back up 15-13. The teams trade FG drives and Buffalo enters holding a tight lead 18-16 in the 4th. Allen guides the Bills on a drive to start the 4th and gets a screen pass TD to Cook to give the Bills a 25-16 lead. The Bills defense holds the Jets to a 3 and out but Harris gets stripped on the next possession forcing the Bills to hold Rodgers to a FG and a tight 25-19 lead. Buffalo does its best to run, but Rodgers gets the ball on the Jets 30 with 27 seconds left and gets the ball to midfield. The hail mary attempt falls short and the Bills walk out with the W. Allen 20-29 247 yds 2 TDs 42 yds rushing on 5 attempts Cook 67 yds 14 att 35 yards rec Diggs 7 rec 98 yds
  3. these boards motivated me... to no longer make predictions
  4. It is not talked about enough in terms of roster creation and streamlining a team how Parcells is the GOAT by a country mile. No one has done as many reclamation jobs with the success record he has.
  5. Weird and Corny. He almost forced this image that came off incredibly unbelievable and not genuine. He used to be one of my favorite players and yea idk what happened. This is where I am. I think he can be serviceable to decent with a competent coach who is very good with scheming offense. Pre injuries I had the Broncos as a sneaky WC team, but it would be kind of impressive at this point given the hits they've had.
  6. Thanks to SPECTRUMs stupidity I am now savings 50-60 a month with SLING without losing anything I had prior. Good job guys!
  7. Haha that game is lucky that after 17 years it was a nice change over the alternate, but dear god that game was hot doo doo
  8. It's true their toast. Josh is past his prime, Diggs wants out, half the players hate chicken wings, and Damar is a clone
  9. This is the most honest and correct response in a while. I have thought since 13 seconds manyyy fans believed that was our "title (even though we still needed to beat the Bengals who did beat us at home and than actually win the SB) and last year was the built up of that feeling that it was our time or owed. Once it didn't happen everything you brought up came out all at once and is what keeps being exhibited any time things are remotely not great over the last bunch of months. I think more fans frankly need to just do what you did and have the honest convo of this is annoying and I wish we could break through.
  10. Tasker is employed by the Bills and ex player. I have found players tend to be less critical then outsiders who never played as they know the preparation and work that goes into everything. Additionally I think he as invested in the Bills winning a title finally as the team itself because if they finally get a ring it kind of closes the door and heals the job they couldn't finish. Tasker is at times a good listen and other times state radio, but I attribute much of that to the fact he was an ex-player and the vast majority of us have never seen .001% of what he has in terms of locker room and the game itself. Also remember Chris Brown has gotten in trouble for being critical a few times past the normal line, so in sense they do play off each other. On the flipside to kind of defend Tasker I have found fans this entire off season from the moment the clock went 0:00 against CIN to be overly harsh, pessimistic, and unwilling to consider some doses of reality that last years team was in fact quite good, the offense while being up and down in the back half was also quite good, and having a teammate nearly die after a world wind of obstacles throughout may finally have just hit the team at the worst possible moment. I do not think anyone on the team coach or player would say the CIN loss was acceptable or make an excuse or deny areas they could improve. Also the Bengals are a very good team, good teams beat good teams believe it or not despite what most fans want to believe. The freak-out over a preseason game vs PIT that means nothing, in a game they didn't game plan for, and more or less just working different personnel through has bordered on the point of comical. I will say this the Dorsey criticism is misguided at him and to me goes to McD. Heading into 2022 they said no excuses even though it was year 1 for Dorsey and virtually no 1st year 1st time OC has made a SB. Then after the season it turned into he will grow from year 1 and be so much better. I buy he will grow, but their basically covering themselves by now saying he was new.
  11. Britesmith Brewing is there also. Great atmosphere even if I find their beer to be very basic for craft brewing
  12. I am happy you brought this up as the city of Buffalo itself finally has a good diversity of options that are not beer wings and pizza. Here is a good breakdown of the top family friendly stuff which is in different areas of the city: Canalside/Downtown: Children's museum, carousel, canalside itself and it has boat rides, Sabre store typically is open, naval park, and Pierce Arrow Museum are all in an easy vicinity where you can walk or easy cab ride. There are plenty of eating options from Pearl St, Draft Room, or Southern Tier for starters Outer Harbor: Riverworks is a chaotic mix of everything and has a lot to do and eat, the outer harbor park has really turned into a nice area for those more outdoorsy, and Tiff Farm is right down the street too. Food wise it is more Riverworks, but the South Park area is a drive down the street with some food and the botanical gardes. These two are both by the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Delaware Park & the Zoo which all three are great places themselves to go to with kids and after stop by one of these areas for food or coffee or shopping. Elmwood (south of that area): Still a good spot with a mix of shops, coffee places, and food/drink (maybe not as great as a decade ago but still good) Hertel (north of that area between Delaware Ave to Parkside Ave): Hertel to me is the most up and coming spot at this time. They have a great mix of food and drink options but some really cool stores including a few with Bills apparel that is way cheaper then the major stores.
  13. Typically team goes on field around 12ish. They come out in waves so if you are there at 12 you will def see them. I brought my four year old last year and he loved it.
  14. I have also found stubhub has fallen big time for the service they use to provide unfortunately and I really do not use them much anymore.
  15. So the issue with fan votes, crazy amount of throwbacks etc.. is the loss of identity a team can have and the safety piece with the multiple helmets. I understand fans liking multiple looks and it certainly is good to an extent, but their becomes a point where it goes too far. I have appreciated that the Pegula's with both teams (Sabres took a little longer to get back to where they should've) have kept the same look and not really done anything too wild. Some of the best looks in the NFL are teams that really have not gone too wild like Green Bay Pittsburgh etc.. Atlanta is an example of what happens when you can't find a consistent look and keep going for trendy over solid. I do think the Bills are missing an opportunity revenue wise and fan wise by not doing the red helmet yet, but the league also drags its feet to the point doing a change can take 2-3 years from the moment its approved for even an alternate. So it is very possible the Bills do have a red helmet in the works and it literally is a time crunch. I have personally felt their current look is superior to everything and doing the AFL throwback 2 times a year is enough. If they add the 90s red for a game or two also, then great but I am happy that they have a consistently good look and have avoided the dreaded revision "upgrade" some teams drift to. Helmet wise even though the NFL has approved two helmets now, inventory is still an issue for teams and I have to imagine some teams are skittish to have two helmets with all the head injury issues. Add in the injury with Hamlin last year and I can easily see the Bills punting to another year before going down that road. Some may say that is small potatoes, but between Hamlin and then Pegula's wife the organization has dealt with some major medical issues across the board and I can understand not wanting to press on something the league just got back into.
  16. The AFC East reminds me a bit of last years AFC West. Young up and coming QB with a talented roster LAC/MIA, Older popular vet QB on a younger up and coming team DEN/NYJ, and ceiling limited but if everything goes right they can be a problem NE/LV. I think Miami has a higher ceiling then the Chargers IF Tua is healthy and the Jets just by Rodgers playing adequate are more formidable then the Broncos were (granted that isn't saying much as Hackett was atrocious). With that said though the questions on Tua's health/their defense coming together and Rodgers showing he still has something mixed a coaching staff that hasn't hit .500 are real and valid. I get many want to believe Rodgers just morphs back to MVP form, but age is undefeated and really Brady is the only QB that played at a super high level from 40 on. Again for the Jets even if he is not MVP form but adequate it is still a colossal upgrade, but I am not as bullish on the Jets as a contender as some.
