It really isn’t. It’s funny how we are now. We’ve been broken like a horse. If the last 20 years didn’t happen, not only would we feel like we had a shot at the division - because of the remaining schedules, we’d be confident about it. The Pats shouldn’t scare us anymore. They’re old, and we almost took them in the 1st game. To me, Brady looks worse every week. It would shock the nation, too. Everyone already has NE penciled in for homefield and the AFCCG at minimum.

Does the dude who gets covered in condiments then go sit in the stands for the game? There has to be a more practical way of getting fired up.

I think there have maybe been about 5 days over the last 5 years when the Bills won & the Pats lost. I'm gonna enjoy this one...

No. He's a good QB who happens to also run well. And the Pats D is one of the most overrated units of all time.

They've been able to keep pressure on Brady. It makes a difference.

I don't understand NOT rooting for the Ravens in this game. It's early November, and we'd be one game back if they won. No way should any fan of any team concede the division at this point in the season.

Teams always find a way to gift things to the Patriots. Always.

One of the hardest things for young teams is learning how to win games. It's the NFL; a lot of games will be close, unless you have a juggernaut. This team generally plays its best when it matters (same can be said of Allen). I don't need pretty.

What a difference getting Singletary involved earlier & more often. All our offense needs to do is be top 15.

Good thread. The offense could do a 180 with A) More Singletary, and B) More long ball. We're really missing the long ball. That's a game changer in a few ways, and we haven't seen it at all. I have hope.

I feel that this is not the case. When the tale is told of the eventual Lombardi winner, narrators with deep, NFL-story-telling voices will come in dramatically at this point of the documentary, and say things like "with the loss to the Eagles, uncertainty ruled the day, and the Bills season hung in the balance," and "no one could possibly know the glory that was to come." True story.

We weren't a player away from contending. We MAY be a contender w/ what we have. It's really down to Allen. He need to play like he did on the 1st few drives last week all the time. He needs to be consistent; he needs to be better. I think he can, but it needs to start happening pretty quickly.

There have been other dominant teams in the past, but I can't remember one of them making the league as predictable & boring as the Patriots. They'll make the SB, and some NFC team will give them a fight, and then the season will end.

The loss was a bummer. But 5-2 is a good record. I'm cool.
