  1. The Pats do their best to suck all of the joy out of football. Though I still feel good today.
  2. I hope Brady’s next 500 passes look like that one.
  3. There are no textbooks for learning how to win in the NFL, but there are tests. Today was one of ‘em. Coming back down multiple scores, on the road against a rival, overcoming mistakes and terrible play, playing the full 60 - what a huge experience for this team, and one they can build on. I love this team. This could be a fun season.
  4. I love everything about this team. Allen is talented and resilient. Singletary could be a star. The O line is the best I’ve seen it in years. John Brown - John friggin’ Brown. And that D. We can win any game with that D. They get great pressure, cover well and contain the run. And they play like a cohesive unit. What a team.
  5. I didn’t understand fans turning on Allen. He had some really bad breaks there. I loved how he played today. He really has swagger. But slide - don’t dive.
  6. So many on D - Shaq and Edmunds stood out for me.
  7. What a way to start the season, There is a LOT to like about this team. Starting with our most resilient QB since Kelly.
  8. Great to see Singletary settling in. Lots of bad breaks today, but this a good team. Still in this
  9. Now do you believe, Trinity?
  10. Okay. But if we win, we’re going to the Super Bowl.
  11. Fired up. We’re finally here. Feeling very confident.
  12. There were football people talking about something besides AB and the Patriots? That’s a good day. I rejoice in this news.
  13. Pretty sobering. What’s to stop ANY player from doing this? The Pats could just become a ring factory. A place great players decide to go to win, and use any means necessary to do it. I remember when football used to be kind of fun...
  14. Close. Some of those Chargers units under Fouts were amazing. 2000 Rams. Taylor and Rice on the Niners. But this could surpass them all if Gordon and Brown stay out of trouble.
  15. He’s a generational talent. I hope it turns into a circus, but a more likely scenario is that he keeps his head down and tears it up this year. And with Gordon, Edelman and a great running game, that offense is unstoppable This is looking like 2007 to me. I hope I’m wrong. I thought this year might offer a small light at the end of the tunnel, but our long national nightmare continues.
  16. Yeah - I thought my hate had reached its apex. Turns out there is no ceiling. Not healthy. If I had known, I never would have signed up for being a sports fan in the first place.
  17. And why not. Hey, maybe they can get Mahomes as a backup by trading a conditional 2022 7th round pick to KC, also. it really is the Patriots world and I just live in it. A dark and dreary place it is, too.
  18. I can’t take this one lightly or casually. If AB and Gordon steer clear of trouble, that’s a ridiculously good offense. DCs around the league are sleeping less well tonight. I thought the Pats might taper off a bit this year, but this could be better than their 2007 team. Talk me down, Bills fans. I need a silver lining here.
  19. If the Pats get him, it’s 2007 all over again.
  20. I’m not a hot take guy. I’d say, bad game, and let’s see how next week goes.
  21. Pundits are usually wrong. Good job if you can get it.
  22. I’m going to take a moment and celebrate how different and improved this line is from last season. I’m no Einstein, but I’m good at simple math. Josh Allen + time = wins.
  23. 10 or 11. Anything less would be disappointing. This has been a full rebuild. With Allen going into his 2nd year and so much investment in the offense in the offseason, it’s not like we’re still waiting to fill holes. The D is already one of the league’s best.
  24. We’re gonna light it up. This offense will be one of the surprise NFL stories of the year. Caveat: I was also positive that Porzingis would bring the Knicks a championship.
