  1. Dynasties always feel like they’ll last forever, but it hasn’t happened yet. I remember Kobe and thinking the Lakers would always dominate. Now they’re a punchline. The Bills will rule the East once again. And the Pats will be the Patsies again.
  2. I really don’t like the New England Patriots.
  3. Some guys, you basically know they’re Bills from day 1. Ed Oliver is going to be a fan favorite, and I think he’ll be here for a very long time.
  4. The Patriots are the past. The Bills are the future.
  5. He’s wrong. We’re there - right now. Unless Allen isn’t everything we think he can be. And enough drooling over the Pats draft. They got one of the steals with Winivich, and a receiver they desperately needed. Otherwise meh given all of their picks.
  6. Extremely optimistic. Caveat: I was cautiously optimistic in the Jauron years.
  7. At least he watched Allen play. It’s usually pretty easy to tell when someone hasn’t, but still goes on and on about how “wildly inaccurate” he is. Kiper got ridiculed on that panel. From the facial expressions, you would have thought he was saying he saw Elvis on the way to work. It’s really not outlandish. The Bills have a very talented, deep team heading into this season - being led by arguably the most competitive QB out of all the newcomers.
  8. Kiper was hyping us up in the post draft show, and saying we had a shot to compete for the division. The other guys were laughing at him, and saying the Pats winning the division was the surest bet in the world “until they don’t.” I mean, if you’re a pundit and you plan to not predict a team’s demise or ascendance until it actually happens...what is your job, exactly? What value are you bringing? The Pats draft was okay. They had a dozen picks - they got a good WR and a couple of good defenders.
  9. My hot take of the day: by the end of the season, this guy will be our top back.
  10. It’s actually impossible to not love this pick.
  11. If everyone thought like this, the world would be a better place.
  12. I like the idea of the Pats in last place. Forever.
  13. I was worried about the Pats with so many picks, but their draft seems pretty underwhelming to me. A couple of impact guys, but they had more holes to fill than we did.
  14. Ha! I just read one report that had Stidham’s player comparison as Brian Hoyer.
  15. An impact WR would have been nice, but not necessary. We’re going into ‘19 with our best WR corps in years as is. We now have a full stable of talented RB’s, most of whom can catch well, and Knox could be one of the big steals of this draft given his measurables and underutilization in college. Add to that an o-line that most of us won’t even recognize with talent and depth that we haven’t seen in many years here in Buffalo. Beane has been masterful.
  16. I’m stoked about this draft. Great value, filling needs, building in the trenches. Tough, smart players. Beane is building a contender.
  17. I like the underused aspect. Could be a steal. But remember - none of us know anything. Unless you happen to go to games every weekend and watch thousands of hours of tape.
  18. I have seen this also. Pleased that it is being noticed and acknowledged.
  19. I can’t figure out why fans don’t see this as much of a need. Half of our RBs are almost my age. And I’m old.
  20. I rarely find the “I don’t know him, must be a bad pick” comments to be very insightful.,,
  21. Whoa! The Pats suddenly have the worst QB in the division
