  1. Yeah, I agree overall. Montana was as clutch, and really was Joe Cool. I love that John Candy story from the Super Bowl. But Brady has a different quality. Obviously clutch, but more like the terminator. Scarier. He gets that look in his eye - just hates losing with a passion. I watched the SB with some non-Bills fans who don't see the Pats as much, and they were all celebrating at 28-3. But I knew better.
  2. Montana came pretty close to 5 also. I saw both play. I still have Brady as the goat. I just think rings is a flawed measure.
  3. Walsh is a good counter - but he really isn't BB. Maybe as a coach he is close, but not as gm. Just look at this offseason. The Pats are practically guaranteed a ring, even if Brady declines.
  4. How many rings would Brady have if McCarthy had been his coach this whole time? How many ring would Belichivk have if Rodgers had been his QB?
  5. Pats keep Hightower. I mean, this offseason alone should show why Brady has an inherent advantage when it comes to rings.
  6. Well, yeah. Manning was one of the best at comebacks. Including a few big ones against the Pats.
  7. The entire legion of boom needed surgery when the 4th quarter started. Not the same D that Manning faced.
  8. You're cherry picking and ignoring the biggest factor of all - Brady played under the greatest coach of all time.
  9. It's a team game. I remember most of those playoff exits, and only a few were on Manning. He didn't often get much help, and played under 5 different coaches. I still think Brady is the goat, but too much is made of the ring count. Brady wouldn't have 5 on another team, and BB wouldn't only have 2 if Manning was his QB this whole time.
  10. I know that's set up for a "Brady" answer, but it's Manning. Brady had better defenses, and most importantly, the greatest coach of all time.
  11. Brady is never out of a game. Maybe we play him too much. But I never feel comfortable with any lead against him, and I always feel like he's going to score when he gets the ball. No one else like that. I can't remember feeling that way watching Montana.
  12. How do we even know? They have to try more. Qb's are the biggest crapshoot in the draft.
  13. I'll be disappointed if they don't snag a qb in the 1st 3 rounds or so this year. Sad draft history. Hard to figure out why we have so often devalued the most important position.
  14. Yep. Pretty sure they're eyeing the draft for that #2 also.
  15. Only in the sense that some hits are now against the rules. But defenders today are bigger, stronger and faster. They hit harder than the defenders of yesteryear.
  16. I think Brady is the best, and don't buy the powder puff thing. He takes a beating sometimes, and seems to actually get better the more he gets hit. He was getting pounded in the Super Bowl.
  17. At least we Bills fans never lose our robust sense of humor.
  18. . Depends. We might end up signing even more guys before the draft. A lot still has to play out.
  19. Please. As though Brown is the best guy we're going to pick up. Bad injury luck last year. Might be a good idea to give the offseason more than a week.
  20. No, it isn't. We have no idea right now what our final group will look like. It's a meaningless hot take.
  21. I don't really get how a comment like this is even possible a week into free agency and over a month before the draft.
  22. Interesting speculation on First Take about BB going all in because he's thinking of retiring soon. He is making a few uncharacteristic moves. Things will be a lot more fun when McDaniels is their coach.
