  1. I like that both guys are young. If they nailed it, we could be set for a long time.
  2. You really have to wonder about the future of the sport. More and more parents will not let their kids play as stuff like this comes out.
  3. They'll still be pretty good - not like they are now, though. BB is still the best coach out there. He said he doesn't want to be like Levy, coaching in his 70's. Hope that's true.
  4. He should be an OC and then move onto HC. And he'll likely be great at both. No way would I take a chance on him as GM. Totally different skill set.
  5. I'm sure everyone is hoping he will. It's a quality "problem" if it happens. Everyone keeps saying he'll be gone, but if he stays healthy and plays great, they'll find a way to keep him.
  6. Yeah - I read their boards too much. Part of my unhealthy obsession. There is such a distinction between older Pats fans and the ones you describe, just generally speaking. The older ones are truly savoring every second of this run. The younger fans definitley talk about how boring the regular season is now, and how it's basically preseason. Maybe I'm rationalizing, but I'd rather be us. I think the feeling of winning is a lot different when you have to suffer first.
  7. Ask me again if BB wins another 5 superbowls with Garropolo.
  8. They actually want to trademark "unequivocally the sweetest." Man, does that organization ever need some time on the bottom so they and their fans can just become normal human beings again.
  9. Kraft is way too full of himself. He hired BB, and the rest took care of itself. Let's see how amazing he is when BB leaves.
  10. All the best to AW no matter what he decides. One of those players that gave everything on every play.
  11. Well, for starters, we have what we have heard about his time in Carolina. But we also have early indications here, including players who have commented on the more disciplined approach and the "earning the right to win" philosophy. He is also putting a greater emphasis on leadership within the team. To me, his style was very evident in the draft - not just in the picks and maneuvers, but also in the way the Bills communicated before and during the weekend.
  12. I'm not sure why fans have doubts at this point. I certainly understand a "prove it" mentality, but it hard not to love the first few months. There has been a total culture change since he got here. Discipline, hard work, focus - a 180 from the Rex years. He seems to have a real vision, and his first draft was stellar. Honestly, the guy he reminds me of is Belichick.
  13. Listenbee's speed is too intriguing. Would be surprised to see him cut.
  14. They had to do this. And it doesn't mean the end of Sammy as a Bill. We may have to pay a little more in the end - but only if he proves he's worth it. Which is how it should be.
  15. Honestly, it's a very poor measure for a coach. Who cares how interesting he is? This isn't a cocktail party.
  16. We're getting slammed on the general boards, but I'm optimistic. I liked Whaley, but McDermott's style is so different. I think they had to choose. And I love how '17 is shaping up.
  17. We should have been a playoff team the last 2 years. Rex ruined the defense. Love what I have seen from McD so far. Can't see us having the same issues with stupid penalties, late substitutions and poor clock management. Watkins healthy, Ragland back, great draft class- we gonna shock the world.
  18. Pats fans bug me, but that's part of being king of the hill. Personally, it's not my thing. When the Bills were on top, I didn't give a thought to teams on the bottom. Though if the Pats get there again, I'll probably find some joy in it.
  19. If that's the case, I'm more okay with this. I love how this draft was handled. At minimum, McD is reliable.
  20. If Trent had more guts, he could have been an excellent QB.
  21. I agree. They picked up Yates because Jones is still too unpolished to be #2. I think Peterman alleviates that concern and will likely be the backup come September. No reason to keep Yates in that scenario.
  22. Both Brady and Eli came into the league with fairly weak arms. That's a lot of superbowls. Not that it isn't an important trait, but definitely overrated.
  23. More than anything, this team has lacked leadership. I have no problem whatsoever with his approach. Players like White set a high bar, and it can be infectious.
  24. How can anyone not be exited about this pick? Worst that happens is that a 5th rounder doesn't pan out. All I've heard from pundits is that he's a potential steal who shouldn't have dropped so far, that he's accurate, that he scans the field and makes good decisions and has moxie. Also, he's one of the few guys Belichick looked at. Could be our 10 year guy. At worst, he's probably the best backup we've had since Reich.
