  1. I can’t accept any imposed or suggested limitations on my freedom to think and let my mind travel wherever it wishes to go. Whether that’s Bengals week, the Patriots game, or sitting on a French beach 20 years from now. Viva Liberte.
  2. Well, that’s good. Glad you’re here to give us that assurance.
  3. I wasn’t the one putting a whole season on one game.
  4. The 1st game? Against a terrible Steelers team? Great point.
  5. If Brady gets through this season, it’s clear that the devil is involved somehow...
  6. A lot of the Pats success this year is tied to 2 superstar receivers whose ability to play every week is questionable, and a 42 year old QB whose o line is patchwork at the moment. Let’s see how things play out.
  7. Unnecessary comment. I haven’t been broken like a horse. I look at every season as a new one. No disrespect intended for the team you worship. I’m just not convinced that they’re a similar jauggernaut to 2007 based on big wins over the Steelers and Dolphins. They may be, as I said, but a better sample is needed.
  8. I’m not convinced the Pats are that much better than us. I have a hunch they are, but it’s impossible to tell with the teams they’ve played.
  9. Obviously, losing Darnold is a big deal. I still contend that the Jets are a very good team with him. That D is legit.
  10. Objectively, Allen is 1. I don’t think that’s my inner homer talking. Seriously - if any of us had the 1st pick in that draft now, would we take anyone BUT Allen? I still think Darnold has a bright future. Obviously, Lamar and Mayfield both have a ton of talent. Equally obviously, we did not take the “wrong Josh.” I just don’t see another guy with Allen’s upside. He is the most skilled, and has every intangible you want in a QB.
  11. Murphy is a good back. I’d probably prefer having him over Yeldin, but what do I know. Anyway, I agree with the posters who suggested getting him. No trades.
  12. They’re looking very smart right now. It feels like the team is in good hands and will be for years. I don’t miss Gilmore - I only wish the Pats didn’t get him. He’s their best player in D and a real difference maker for them.
  13. These 1st 2 games are both the exact kind of games that any Bills team since the 90’s lose. This team really fights. They play with a ton of confidence.
  14. Pats once again trying to suck the joy out of my Sunday’s and the NFL in general. Ain’t working today. They still rely on 2 old men. I’ll take our future over theirs.
  15. That long drive to stop the Giants momentum and out the game away was the best thing I’ve ever seen.
  16. That’s so weird. I looked at the schedule right afterwards, and determined that we’d go undefeated and win the Super Bowl. Go figure.
  17. It’ll be awesome when the NFL is just about football again, and not all Patriots 24x7.
  18. Nice return by ol’ Ray Ray there.
  19. Those are last year’s records. Not sure how long you’ve been watching the game, but things happen in the offseason. I don’t care about power rankings, personally. But why do you care what fans here think about where the Bills are?
  20. I concede nothing to the Patriots. They looked great...but is Pittsburgh terrible? Will Brown last? Gordon? Their O line is suspect, as is their depth for some units, including QB. The Bills HAVE to split with that team, at minimum. It ends now.
  21. Our whole schedule really isn’t bad. Obviously, we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves - but this could be a very good season.
  22. Nah. It’s their fans. I’d be able to respect what BB and Brady are doing, at least minimally - if not for the cartoonish arrogance of that fan base. I have friends there that I just can’t talk football with anymore.
  23. Not yet. But I doubt this is the last AB headline this season, or even this month. I was terrified when the Pats picked him up, but it’s starting to seem like a pretty dopey move.
