    That is one game, everyone gets the benefit of the doubt on one game, especially the opener. When you consider MItch did not play preseason at all, the performance is not that surprising. That game may be show some of what we may see today with the lack of preseason reps, that probably favors the defense at the beginning of the season.

    I think the pressure is squarely on Allen. Those other guys are not as critical. The overall increase in talent around Allen is obvious. If he takes major steps forward this team can win 10 or more games, if he does not then 500 is about what you can expect. Wood

    Agreed we can't take their word for it. "McCoy is our starter" "We are not trading for all these draft picks to get a QB" etc. But in this case there is a lot of smoke, yeah we dont know the facts. But I was happy then and happy now it did not happen.
