100% problem with the Deep Ball this year.
Matt_In_NH replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, I was thinking he was better last year but this year has missed everything. I bet he has more INT's than completions on those. Clearly an element he needs to work on. The one to Mackenzie should have been an easy TD yesterday. He seems to want to throw a frozen rope but needs to put some air under the ball and let the receiver go and get it. He has improved a lot on short passes this year so maybe this is part of the next steps for him. -
Where does the 10th win come from?

The Pitt game is huge more than likely....wish it was in Buffalo but that is the game more than any other they need to win. -

If it wasn’t a fumble and wasn’t a pass then what is it? it was a pass all day twice on Sunday and even on Christmas. The bills have a lot of yards on the same pkay

Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem
Matt_In_NH replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually think the bills played a good game on the road where they withstood the initial onslaught. They just don’t click enough on offense. Lots of plays that could have swung this game. Missed fgs. How about the terrible overthrow to McKenzie? He has to relax and hit that. -

Winning on the road is hard. The browns are better than their record. The browns were desperate the eagles were desperate. In a number of weeks the bills will be desperate and win one of those tough matchups. -

Now give the defense a break and put a drive together -
For the NFL, the marquee matchups are often divisional based on rivalries. Having the home and away games are important and set up important "revenge games". I don't think you will get away from that. You could change up who is in what division but I dont think you are getting rid of the number of divisions. I think it is good how it is. But if you want to move the Pats to the NFC for the Cardinals, I would be for that.

"Imagine conforming to a system giving it a 100 percent to see them treat me like this is unfairly ! Making money off my sweat and blood ***** the @nfl I’ll never play in that ***** treat black people the worse! Clear my name and go ***** your self" Can someone translate to English? -
Is Brady playing for the Bills record?
Matt_In_NH replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills record? LOL Put yourself in his shoes, been to 9 SB's, won 6 and he wants to break or tie SB's played in a row? It is way more plausible he wants the TD and yards records, one more SB and call it a day. I am pretty sure he wants no part of tying a team that LOST four straight SB's, only a Bills fan would think like that. He probably does want to keep the number of wins in Buffalo (By any quarterback) record he has this century. -
The game has evolved a lot in 26 years so this is just not apples to apples. Lets count how many playoff wins Jim has and compare with Josh.

Daboll is an excellent play caller
Matt_In_NH replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get it but at the same time they did get a TD on that drive vs the previous time they were down there and called "innovative" plays where they just went backwards. The issue is execution and talent, not the play calling in my opinion. -

Matt_In_NH replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe the issues are talent and execution deficiencies rather than play calling. There are a lot of complaints about the play calling but I have loved the play calling in general. 4th and 2 QB sneak, not so much. It is easy to second guess the play calls when the players don't execute. It has been creative, pass heavy at times, run heavy at times...all based on game plan and match ups. The line has had some breakdowns and Allen has not been good on long passes or more in general reading and reacting in the rhythm of the offense. -
The New York Times Playoff Machine is active
Matt_In_NH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't need the playoff machine to know the Steelers game is the most important. Having said that, even if they lost that game, they should still be favorites for a wildcard. -

Amazing how the National Press Ignores the Bills
Matt_In_NH replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont buy into "the NFL favors big market's" deal. It is plausible since you can argue it could be good for revenue but who is the NFL? There are league offices that are paid for by the owners ultimately. So to really buy into this conspiracy would mean all the owners are complicit to drive up revenue. Owners in markets like Buffalo are just there to get beat up on by markets like Boston and NY. I dont see it. Refs are human and have biases. Superstars get calls.....in all sports! When the Bills had superstars (Kelly,Bruce) they got calls. You could count on Bruce to browbeat the refs into holding calls week in and week out, he had the swagger, the reputation. Brady gets calls too, he is a superstar. The issue is the Bills have not this for decades, some fans have never seen it work out for Buffalo. How do you explain the Jets ineptitude and the Packers consistent winning if you buy into the mass conspiracy?
