  1. Wonder if his game will take a step back now that he is older.
  2. Once again in regards to refs, there is a perception that calls are not consistently called when it comes to late hits, roughing, PI, holding, etc. I think the perception is real but these are subjective calls and I also think it is hard for refs to see everything and that is not recognized by fans....single set of eyes can't see everything at once. Especially when it comes to something subjective where a judgement needs to be made.
  3. I do agree, I think Sammy suffers some from lack of passion for the game. Don't see that with McCaffrey.
  4. Rb version of Sammy Watkins. Ok. It really McCaffery is better but still….
  5. The Bills D got steam rolled against the Colts. To some extent the Titans game can be explained away, the stats are skewed by a 76 yard TD run that if removed he had 19 carries for 67 yards and 2 TD's. Now the long run happened, we know that but as been pointed out there was some clear holding on that play so if the zebra had thrown the hanky that game likely flips to a bills win and the running numbers don't look as bad. If they get Star back and have Edmunds we should be good against the run vs NE, its just the play action and short/intermediate passes they also need to shut down.....without Tre
  6. Stop the run, be ready for screens and short/intermediate passes.....I think the plan is dare them to throw deep. It always kills me how effective they are throwing to RB's. I guess if it was easy to stop more teams would.
  7. I would particularly hate losing to the Pats.
  8. You play the teams and players on the schedule at the time. No excuses either way. This week is the litmus test, we will see. One quote I hear in the media sometimes is very true.....its not so much who you play as it is when you play them.
  9. His first name describes his position. Yeah, that is my concern too, injuries for whatever reason sometimes congregate at a position.
  10. Just checking out the NFL standings and stats. The Pats are a machine right now. They have the highest point differential, lowest points against and points for are very good also. The Bills are right there with them regarding points. But for them, this is after starting 2-4. They also by far have the best conference record at 6-1 in the AFC which puts them in a great position for tie breakers to win the one seed if they win the division from the Bills. The Bills should have the division tie breaker (assumin Buff Beats the Jets in week 18) if they split with them though so that is good. We really need to find a way to win this game, 12th man could be huge.
  11. Number 4 is the key in my opinion......If the Bills dont turn it over I think they will win. But that is easier said than done. If Allen gets stymied/frustrated, he needs to take a punt or a FG attempt and not force things/hold the ball too long. The Pats strategy will be to cause bad decisions by Josh.
  12. Josh is by far a more talented player but to me this will come down to him making the right choices. Punting vs forcing a throw. Taking a fg instead of holding the ball and taking a bad sack. the pats will try and frustrate him which is when he is apt to make mistakes.
  13. Pressure is on the Bills more than the Pats by a lot. Curious to see how they do. What I heard all offseason and until 3 weeks ago was the division was a sure thing, a virtual guarantee for Buffalo. Sal thought it could be wrapped up by next Monday's game. The Pats cant win with Macorckel and his short passes. The run game, good defense and short passing can only take you so far. Meanwhile they are doing what they have done for 20 something years....limit mistakes, capitalize on your mistakes, play sound in all phases.
  14. Is this excuse preparation in case of a bad result next Monday?
  15. Hopefully the Bills will plan for screens and bootlegs.
  16. Knox thanks the reporter for commenting on his swollen "hand" or "football"
  17. I bet not one player is thinking “ how do we overcome this”. That is what fans think
  18. know the rules, execute. The rule makes sense.
  19. One opinion....McDermott sending a message to the "team" through benching McKenzie.....I mean yeah he had the fumble against Indy but he has been a very good returner. Andre Roberts fumbled a couple times per year. I think McD is trying to rattle the cage of the team more than one player. Mistakes need to be minimized, by all.
  20. I get he was hospitalized but this seems much more like a convenient excuse than anything real. He is a liability and lost the Tennessee game by himself.
  21. He has gotten much better this year. but he was a “beast” vs. the Colts?
  22. Cute third down play. Just get the first and run the clock.
