Lots of things being ruled out does not mean there could be some other condition that has not been discovered. This is good news, hopefully he is 100% healthy and can even consider coming back to play but I would think there would always be a concern, what if... I think Reggie Lewis had some DR's saying he should not continue and one gave him the all clear, that did not go well.

Even though he is so controversial, I think I would prioritize Edmunds, then Oliver and Poyer I let Poyer go because of his age and assumed contract demands. You have to be willing to move on from people even when it hurts. They need to find the next diamond in the rough at safety. Before the season I would have picked Oliver as 1, but he has not had a breakout year, he is a decent player who shows up in some games but other games he is invisible. Not sure what his market is, I would pay medium money for him maybe but not big dollars.

After seen how Beane worked leaving Caroline and Schein with NYG, this is a valid concern. Its not the guy himself its all the after affects...stealing from our practice squad etc. But this is a byproduct of being a top notch organization.

All we know is years and total potential value and some guarantees. It could be structured as a 2 year with an easy out. Since he represented himself, it is possible he got the numbers he wanted 5 years 100 million, 20 million per but probably conceded on some T's and C's.

To my knowledge no nfl game has ever been stopped a game like this was. And while this situation was “different” I am not surprised people assumed the game would resume because that is always what has happened. Guys have been paralyzed, CPR in 1998.. The world has changed on things like this in a good way but 20 years ago the game probably continues. I don’t hold it against anyone who was asking for the game to resume at first. However the lying is ridiculous….just put a statement together that after further consideration and input from the teams we decided to not resume at this time.

It was funny, during the post game presser McDermott got asked if the team was going to go to Cincinatti, he dodged the question but it was obvious he knew more than he was letting off.

Now that all the other games have been played and the NFL has done what it has done the seeds are 1. Chiefs, 2. Bills and 3. Cinci. If they played the game the the Bills won, it would be 1. Bills, 2. Chiefs and 3. Cinci. If they played the game the the Bills lost, it would be 1. Chiefs, 2. Cinci and 3. Bills. I understand why people are questioning things, But the Bills would have been 1 or 3 based on the outcome of that game, the way the NFL handled it they get the 2 which would not be an option at all if the game was played. Did the Chiefs benefit, yes they did...the bye week is something that can only go to one team, something had to happen. I think there would be a lot more questing if they gave that to the Bills and even though it would benefit my team, I am ok with what they did do.

Given what happened with Hamlin, a decision had to be made not knowing the actual outcome of that game. If Cinci won, they would be the two and the Bills the three. If the Bills had won, they would be the one, its unknowable. There was no solution that would make everyone think it is "fair" and we all have to live with that. KC has a better winning percentage, without doing some crazy stuff, not sure what else the league could have done. At lease the Bills will not have to play at an opponents stadium...neutral field is the worst that can happen for the Bills. How is it determined, ask House?

Yeah, for regular season you can go to an opponent three years in a row the way the scheduling works which is what is happening here. THat is exacerbated by two playoff games in KC the last two years which were a result of KC having a better record.

I do think he needs to lose some play time, these drops can end a season, he seems to have lost confidence. Davis works his butt off and is a great teammate, he does whatever it takes including being on the field almost every play and blocking well. But if a receiver cannot receive that just does not work.

I have missed this while watching the games. Do you have any data to back this up? I view pass rush as the problem.
