And absolutely no argument from me, all those guys deserve it.

What team has the best NFL message board in the world?
Matt_In_NH replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Finheaven also has a ton of traffic. Those guys hate the Bills as much as we hate them. I am probably biased but they seem to be more emotional/upset by any little thing and get offended by nothing more than this group. I remember going there when the BIlls were headed there in the playoffs for the div round two years ago...one comment was "lets rape them til the room stinks". -
Hurts Burrow and Mahomes ahead of him. Losing I then divisional round hurts him. Hurts at three seems odd to me.

Zero Bills Preseason Games on National TV
Matt_In_NH replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean I get what you are saying but I don't think what you said is true. The Bills are all over national TV this year including 3 4 PM national windows on top of a max primetime schedule. I have never seen them on this much national slots in 28 years living out of the region. -
Two week training camp predictions

I agree he would be a potential cut candidate. -

The bills need to free up cap space for 53 plus practice squad plus in season moves. I was looking over spotrac and other than redoing contracts I was looking at who they can cut to save money. The top guy is Morse and with Torrence at guard I wonder if they would go with Bates at center. If they spread out cap casualties over two years they are more candidates. I am not saying I think this will happen but if it did I would understand why. The Bills have a a lot of depth at DL, OL and CB. I think you could see some trades. I have seen almost nothing out of Basham....a sign of a good GM is one who is willing to let go of a high draft pick when it becomes clear it was just did not work out. Lawson was starting last year, are you really keeping Basham over him because he is young and signed for one additional year? At DT, I was thinking Phillips might start on PUP but that is not happening....I think he is on the bubble right now because of the numbers. I don't like Settle but his contract blows.... -
I would not get too excited about something Chris brown says. OP is taking CB’s opinion as something the staff is doing. Best man wins period who cares where he was drafted. I think that will be Elam in the end and they are just not handing it to him. Comparing this to teller is silly at best. Every GM and coach has made moves that tune out different than they expected. Continually pointing to one move out of hundreds/thiousands as proof of anything is not helpful. Look at the body of work.

No there is actually a deficit. The bills will have to actually fund 53 guys not too 51 plus the 16 guys on the practice squad plus in season buffer for injuries. They probably KT need to free up cash just for that not but more tackles. Yes the whole thing is just accounting which is why the bills signed Dalvin cook deandre Hopkins and will trade for an expensive all pro tackle next week.

Did he play last night?

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

Once done will they put a dome on it and move it downtown by barge? -
I agree with everything except one thing. Davis dropped a pass in the endZone that would have put the bills up in Miami with less than two minutes left
-
At the initial presser after he was drafted Beane said strictly WLB then a day later they changed it to both. I think the options at LB were not what the BIlls wanted but took someone they saw some potential in.

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
Matt_In_NH replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think if Crowder had stayed healthy you can have a point but the reality is the guy did not play. Sherfield is an upgrade over Kumerow. Harty is more talented than mckenzie but the major concern with him is health. He has struggled to stay available. I think you have a pint with RB. But I do like Harris over Singletary by a smidge. He brings a little more physicality. But the difference is this year the reigns will be handed over to cook and if he continues an upward trajectory RB may be stronger. -
Nice job by Josh, the writing though........must have been done by the scabs

True but the random internet guy is rarely correct...it happens just do to random events.......statistically someone wins the billion dollars in Powerball...not saying it can't happen.

All-Pro DT Chris Jones not at Chiefs Mandatory Minicamp
Matt_In_NH replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
which is why Deandre Hopkins is a Bill. Manipulation and "there is no cap" are not the same thing. It does not matter how much money an owner has, there are limits. -

"we" as in the Bills? How did this conversation get to that point? Anyway, there are many here who think there is no salary cap. -
Matt Araiza is Suing Woman who Falsely Accused him
Matt_In_NH replied to wppete's topic in Off the Wall
Not really......maybe its just no one knows. If anyone has Netflix, watch a documentary called Victim/Suspect....it will shed light on what happens in these situations. A lot of times when the accuser ends up being charged it is likely situations when they were in fact victimized but they dont know the details......it's quite sad. -
We have that same conversation in my house every year!!!!!! haha

Wow there is a game this Thursday.

Beane and McDermott have specifically said in recent days, he is a WLB right now and that is where he is focusing.
-
I think Miami did a good job hiring McDaniel and their new DC is also a good hire. They have talent too. With the Jets I think they have a legit roster and if Rodgers if focused/rejuvenated and last year had more to do with a thumb injury they will be a tough out. The Jets are always a tough out for the Bills for whatever reason. The Patriots will "play good defense and run the ball" and so they will win some games also. But they all have to play the Bills twice. It is not as clear cut the Bills own the East this year but until someone knocks them off the hill, the Bills are still there.

You know the saying, if you have 4 middle linebackers that means you have none. Not a saying, well there should be one. Hopefully someone takes the bull by the horns.
-
This is typical of any NFL team and yes it has been public knowledge in previous offseasons also.

The Chiefs are starting with 77 million more in cap space than the Bills for 2024.
