Would you still like JA if he was on another team?
cba fan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
EVERY game Mahomes and Chiefs win impacts Bills by putting a stake in Bills homefield advantage for playoffs, as Chiefs seldom lose. And Chiefs always beat Bills(coaches not players)when it matters in KC. Only chance Bills have of beating Chiefs requires homefield advantage. So you can never be a clear Bills fan if rooting for Chiefs in any game at this time of AFC/Bills/Chiefs current status of contendership. I still like Tyrod Taylor. lol -
Report circulating that Apple will be 2023 home to Sunday Ticket
cba fan replied to Ned Flanders's topic in The Stadium Wall
so was NFL by Bills fans lawsuit. 1997 settled in 2001 They won kinda. Court ruled they must offer a per weekend(sunday) option. So Sunday Ticket did, like $19.99 or $29.99 per weekend........lol When the whole season was like 99 to 150 at the time. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/06/19/nfl-directv-sued-over-sunday-ticket/ -
i believe it was to certify they are the real person like if Billy Shaw was really Billy Shaw he needed to cert that he was the real deal. EX: If I want to be Gary Marangi username i don't need to cert. I of course should then point out i am not the real deal. correct me if i am wrong anyone.........

Which players on defense are you moving on from or releasing?
cba fan replied to intimidatortj's topic in The Stadium Wall
it's a 3 yr contract for 52.4 mill and 7.4 dead cap. not a problem. And likely a restructure or two before the out after the 3rd year. -

Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
cba fan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before being drafted by Washington and then b/u QB with Pittsburgh in the NFL, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders. Haskins would have turned 25 years old on May 3." that is what asshat should have tweeted. And any compassionate person would have. -
Let’s give Antonio Brown some Million Dollar love.

AB created his current market value. Congrats AB🤣🤣🤣 -
it was early and yeah we all know how ridiculous Josh was and the game went, but dam.......that felt like the changer. it was about to be 7-7 and Pats would have had life. 🤣🤣 not!!!!!!! lol

to get DK he needs an extension. Diggs would immediately be out of camp and likely gone. So I vote no. If you extend Diggs first and figure out a way to get DK i would consider it but in that scenario DK is a one year rental.(and virtually no chance DK agrees to be traded without new contract) And I am not giving up a 1st and 4th for a one year rental or / a 1st and 4th plus the huge payday DK wants. I don't think it is doable. Pats just got D Parker for peanuts. Look that route.

ty. yeah that's interesting. I like it. As a diehard Bills fan i know virtually everything about each player in real time. I follow the games know who is trending up Bates Brown. Down Ford. In flux Edmunds etc etc and get a feel for who Bills dont want and want. I know very very little of this inside following of most other teams outside a few players. So assigning an employee to act like a diehard fan for a few teams and sink into all this info is priceless. No one has time to do all the teams.

many players can not see the market forces. many also forget the restructures accelerating money to their bank accounts. but aside from all that, Diggs contract needs a redo to help both him and team. Beane said he would do it soon. Not clear when.

Bungles sign OL Fred Johnson and waive him hour later
cba fan replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
this is something any team doing it would be lambasted and scorned. In media and by agents. Except when Bill Belichick did it a few years ago to their running back, he was praised for being a shrewd ahead of the curve genius. 🙄 -
Deshaun Watson to Browns - $230 million guaranteed
cba fan replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
yes that would be golden. Please let him play this year as he drags out the civil suits and NFL defers discipline. To 2023... 😁😁 -
Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
cba fan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
the whole story states Farwell called squib, McD then called for long kick TB. Farwell talked to McD and they went back and forth(argument?). McD (relented?) and agreed on short kick. Not squib. A compromise of sorts? Then Bass was never told to kick short. So what was Bass told first? Squib by Farwell? Or kick long TB by McD? And what was last call relayed to Bass? and by whom? And whose job was it to inform Bass to change to kick short? As that was not the first two calls. ??? every player on the kick coverage team played that KO like it was to be a short kick to left of Bass in the corner. Not a squib, not a long kick TB. Everyone except Bass obviously. -
Chandler Jones, Jordan Davis, DK Metcalfe, maybe Gronk

if you are not getting better you are getting worse. -
intimidated with a physical presence or show of force. Not immediately beat on or physically pounded. But implied it could happen if situation calls for it. ex: a big center enters game and takes up postion on the low block awaiting the throw in w smaller defender on him. Opposing team center immediately switches with smaller teammate to take on the bigger center and bodies him up in the lane. Leans into or stands close. Bodied could also mean past tense term for a body up action that actually took place.

if he wants to take Mitch slot at 1 mill a year after Panthers cut him(lol not likely), fine I give him a shot.

Bucs Pro Bowl G Ali Marpet retiring at age 28
cba fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I played a little bit in HS and yes the postion seemed mundane and not glamorous but the feeling of holding out players from the QB and watching them get frustrated + blocking well for runs was very very satisfying IF and i mean big IF you are good at it. Very very fun. they are all "going south" -

Sullivan: Bills' McDermott choked away Super Bowl-caliber season
cba fan replied to QCity's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes i remembered, and thanks for details. 👍 Also yeah other teams then were not suppose to be able to us what Indy used. But posion pill contracts occurred after, before NFL shut them down. A fight of contracts between Vikes and Seahawks. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2020/4/29/21118726/steve-hutchinson-poison-pill-clause-vikings-seahawks-nfl-free-agency-hall-of-fame -
it was not windy. That is the biggest factor.
