This year Bills had Super Bowl players but only Playoff coaches. Never was a path more clear for a SB win than when Bills had lead kicking off w 13 sec left. Never.
-
Allen and Bills lost to Colts and Pats just this year in the conditions. And played poor in other games in the conditions.
-
It won't be too long into new stadium life that Allen will not be able to run like he does now. He might only have 1 good year of running left by the time new stadium opens. Allen passing is better in dome and all around play is better. I will bet on Allen.

apples and oranges. MN was fabric air supported and prone to tears from ice. They are no longer built. And the ones still in use have converted to solid roof. wind took that ball and pushed it to Diggs left causing him to lose track as it hit his arms and he dropped it for game changing possibly wining TD on MNF vs Pats.

all large events are at an all time low due to Covid.

Carrier dome was engineered to hold a roof. Adding a replacement did not need much new structural support. For example Highmark is an open air design and the top footprint is very wide and long and whole stadium is laid back as it does not need to support a roof. Domes have higher taller grade so roof is manageable for cost and engineering safety. Study shows new Bills stadium could be engineered to hold a roof in the future by building it with support for the roof. Study says this would be about 118 million.(ironic they list same number as Carrier new roof cost if this is true) And would likely change the configuration making it taller, making supports sunk as needed for future weight support etc etc....... More cost effective to do the roof now but Owners, State, and County, have already decided it is open air. Even though all polls show 70 to 85% of fans want a Dome the owners and state keep saying fans want open air. Weird. Wrong statement. And depending on your opinion, dumb. Bills roll with passing O that Allen is not good in when going against the win. Bills have best chance when Allen is at his best, which is in good weather.

yes same i find all over. Milwaukee and Chicago has those too. Family pride makes great food. Hugh menu and always good.

football was never invented or intended to be played in winter. They invented basketball for winter play. Football was always a late summer and fall game that ended by Thanksgiving like High Schools do now. College also over by end of Nov.. All or most bowl and playoff games are in domes or in south/far west in good weather. Only the pro game development and their desire to make more money did the schedules then push into winter.

smokey bones is serving to midnight. but w game at 8 pm and likely 3.5 hours. It will be about midnight when you get to your car. then another unknown 1 or 2 hrs to get out of parking and on a main road. last time i went to a night game it was a thurs night that started at 7:20 pm. We did not get out of parking and traffic and on our way on a main road at speed limit speed until after 1 am. bring snickers and leave in car. They are good frozen.

Anyone know if Bills are practicing Outside?
cba fan replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
deep freezer. Chest type. sounds like a name for Bills Defense. "The Deep Freeze" if they dont go with my earlier to ref no pro bowlers. "The No Bowlers" -
sub Zero. No Bowlers (as in no "pro bowlers" just to be clear 🤫)
-
need the comps to trade up. This makes them valuable. Could also trade a 3rd for a next year 2nd if surplus is too big. Yes Bills later draft picks will have hard time making team. Too much talent on roster.

nobody wants to sit in the elements. Even the old guard who want the open air weather want a roof over their heads, heated seats, radiant heat lights above. Why? How can they enjoy "Buffalo Bills weather" like that. People with money sit in the clubs so they can go inside. Then you have open air proponent owners who never sit outside. Always in climate controlled suites. Makes no sense.
-
like i said and your pic proves. They don't practice in bad weather outside. ty. I am not saying they never do. Just not in bad bad weather.
-
not in bad weather did Allen era do this.
-
Bills never practice out side in bad weather. No advantage for Bills in bad weather as this is a passing team and will be for the foreseeable future as all Super Bowl contenders are. Bills do not win in bad weather since Allen era. Bills have lost most games with high winds or bad weather at home in current era. Orchard Park site is highest avg winds for all NFL teams. Even before taking into account the venturi effect, which enhances wind on field, that the dumb 70's engineers built into Highmark.

Buffalo is not for bison or the water buffalo in Asian countries. It was a miss spelling of French word for "beautiful flow." Buffalo is the name given to American Bison by white man in error though. -

yes bears range included all of Illinois until development and resulting loss of habitat pushed them north. Occasionally a bear looking for a mate migrates down from Wisconsin and have been spotted in Chicago N and W suburbs. In Lincoln Zoo of course they have them. that was old map from before white man roamed. this is 1800's map. -

Yes i vote for Mahomes fiancé and her side chic Jackson to be sent to Sweden. lol. Bison is the logo not the city name. The historical range of 1800 American Bison extends up into the southtowns regions. It can be surmised some bisons roamed in Orchard Park and likely some strays ventured into what is now Buffalo city limits proper. Older range research shows range covered complete Buffalo area. -

There is a common misconception about the Lakers nickname glossed over by many. Lakers nickname was coined by a media guy when Lakers moved to MN. Inspired by the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" state motto. In reality they are named after the Lakes only secondary in relation to the true meaning of what a Laker is. A laker is a lake trout that live in most MN lakes. Also a shipping ship that trolls the Great Lakes. It is not a lake or people that live on or around lakes etc etc.. LA and Cali do not have a lot of lakes but the ones they do have, have lake trout in them. So they are the Lakers that are in the nickname. They could develop a mean ferocious lake trout logo if they desired and it would fit. Since laker ships do not troll Cali lakes a ship would not fit. -
