  1. 70k fans heat it up just like the Mall of America does. And with most games in fall and winter the need for AC will be almost non existent for Bills games. For other year round events yes will need AC. Don't make Carrier Dome mistake and build without AC. Any additional cost for this or the roof will be more than completely recovered by increased tix sales alone.
  2. public money goes to non sports fans at a much much higher rate. Schools colleges Parks swimming pools Walmart super centers tif districts bike paths museums art gallery civic centers tourists sites public outdoor bb courts and baseball fields and hockey ice hike paths nature centers botanical gardens zoos etc etc....... sports fans just asking for a piece of the pie. and your est of how many Bills fans are in area and also est of how many fans want Bills to stay in WNY is absurdly way too low.
  3. true, as it is now. But Jax got it by anchoring cruise ships for hotels(only would need a few) Future is unknown. What is known is no dome and none of those events i mentioned are possible.
  4. this is completely backwards planning. Vocal minority of fans who want open air keep saying they want the weather experience. Why cover the fans? Cover the field and block the wind from the field. Impossible obviously. Must be dome or Bills will regret it just like Bears do now. This open air will be a 50 year mistake preventing pass oriented offense, which are all of the Super Bowl contenders, that is the way teams are built now and for foreseeable future they all want scoring. You want a JA Super Bowl? Must build a dome. Even WFT is planning a dome. Roof only cost 3 to 6 million or so prorated out for life of dome. Will more than pay for itself in tix sales alone not to mention other events: final four, bowl game, HS games, UB games, concerts, trade shows, motorcross, truck shows, frozen four, NCAA regional, Sabres game, combines for NHL or even NFL if they rotate some day, conventions if combined with convention center downtown........ Lucas Oil Filed is the model (w new MN Sofi LV translucent roof feels like you are outside)to follow and must be 70k or lose home field advantage also. Soldier Field is not loud at all. Been there numerous times. Pathetic.
  5. look no further than Lucas Oil Stadium on MNF. 70k+ in a dome was load AF and gave Colts homefield advantage boost. If Bills build 60k open air it will take away homefield advantage. This mistake will live with Bills for half a century. On par with the epic multi billion dollar Soldier Field redo mistake Bears are now realizing and trying hard to get out of. All Super Bowl contenders now are passing teams and open air in poor weather(especially Dec Jan playoff games) negates that advantage. Passing game not changing as all want high scores. I hope Bills / Pegs / Pols and fans, are paying attention. Don't make same mistake Bears now regret. Even WFT is planning on dome in DC.
  6. positives: they won both games they played in these. At Oilers then MNF vs Broncos. negatives: sad reminder of Ralph's penny pinching ways. He did not want to spend for new white helmets and the normal throwback red grazing bison. The 1994 75th NFL anniversary season all teams had to wear throwbacks for one home and one away game. This was so all franchises could have a throwback game at home to celebrate NFL 75 yr anniversary. It also marked the end of the Super Bowl era for Bills by them not even making the playoffs as they faded after a nice 3-1 start to losing 4 of last 5 games.
  7. yes. And Mark Maddox was a stud and still improving until he tore his ACL on MNF vs Browns doing what i always said is dangerous and players should never do. Just a little late to the tackle pile and instead of diving over it he hurdles and catches his leg under himself as he lands awkwardly and blows his ACL. I could have cried. 😥 Maybe diving would increase shoulder on elbow injury but i take that over ACL.
  8. Klein is better football player at ML. Edmunds needs to play outside before i give him big deal.
  9. interesting. NFL you might see different results. Worth experimenting with in preseason. Returners in previous situations when fair catch was an option, is now indicated, wanted, or desired with new halo rule. I think would simply catch ball with no one closer than 5 yards from him and just take a knee. Done deal and safer as no defender gets close like they do right now. Many times nearly brushing the return guy as he catches it. It might stop/reduce the holding calls as return team no longer needs to worry about a missed block causing return guy to get blown up and/or a serious injury. This calls for serious consideration i feel. Nothing worse than parade of holds on kicks. his point is the wr holding may have prevented a pic 6 by the db
  10. Klein is a better ML than Edmunds. I still think Edmunds athletic ability is better suited as an OL. Edmunds can still be captain and call the plays.
  11. put that way it makes perfect sense. to give props to McD for thinking like that though we have no way of knowing.
  12. great, awesome, good to know, found some gear for you. And it supports good causes too. 😁 https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&tbm=shop&q=nfl+buffalo+bills+pink+apparel+gear&tbs=vw:g,pdtr0:4015704|4015465&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjn8v3Bjtz0AhWDd28EHYNiCDQQzJkGegQIAhAX
  13. it has been worn by every football team since the invention of American and Canadian style football. And, it bothers you now?? 😂
  14. Highmark design allows common lake effect wind direction to howl through from one end zone and then drop down as lower level is in a hole heading for other end zone. The hole and the slope of terrain is higher on prevailing wind side and lower on other end zone causing speed increase. You get venturi effect of stadium design to also go along with terrain drop causing speed increase and swirling like no other in NFL. Like a wind tunnel. This site has highest avg windspeeds in NFL since being built even without taking into the effect the design which enhances winds. Engineers at the time did not research well. Should have been a dome. Or at least high walls on prevailing wind entry point.
  15. then one season last year is same theory. Too small of a sample size.
  16. Bills are 4-2 when he does play .666 - win % Bills are 2-2 when does not play .500 win % If he plays all year they are more than an 11 win team.
  17. they sucked against run last year and were better this year when Star played. And sucked when Star is out this year. Not sure why people can't see this.
  18. NFL did not follow their own rules setup for franchise relocation approval. They were complicit. St Louis has a very strong case and that is why everyone is nervous and Kroenke is in settlement talks. Since NFL allowed Rams to move, all the owners and NFL are on the hook. If Stan had just moved unilaterally against NFL approval NFL could not stop him either.(see Raiders) But in that scenario likely only Stan would be on the hook for St Louis suits. Smart cunning, even though unethical, move by Stan to lie about covering suits to get approval to move. Lowlife assbag. so Ralphs countless threats of moving the team and visiting other cites to discuss, was all to show his hard commitment to WNY?? 😂😂😂 really?? that's your take??
  19. the covid opt out was available last year for players who did not want to risk getting covid during NFL season and requirements. close contact on field, games, practice, workouts, flights, hotel stays etc etc.... all a risk. no one needs to assume Star opted out for fear of contracting Covid. It is obvious.
  20. yes you are misunderstanding. Kroenke was negotiating with StL to settle for all of NFL. Now is threatening to only settle for himself unless NFL agrees to split cost by 32 teams. If following through with demand/ransom it leaves all other teams liable for suits and damages. Kroenke turncoat liar could offer StL $300 to $500 million to settle his claim only. That would set precedent for all 31 other teams to also be potentially on hook for same. $9.3 to $15.5 billion total. So cheater Kroenke could save $9.3 to $15.5 billion by settling his separately. It remains to be seen if cheater would survive the impending lawsuit all owners will bring to make him pay all settlements as he promised in return for allowed to move to LA. Many owners said they would not have approved the move if he had not promised to cover all potential legal costs and suits. If legal to do first, NFL owners would be smart to sue cheater now to find out if cheater is on the hook for paying NFL for any or all settlement costs. Then go settle w StL. LOL 🤣
  21. i hear this a lot he tackled guys 5 or 6 yards downfield. So. If Edmunds did not, who would? Some other defender further downfield. 10, 15 or more?? I do get maybe not picking up option as that would possibly have opened door for smaller contract demands by player/agent presumably. I get it he is not Urlacher. But Bills should not give up on him yet and try him outside where he can use his physical gifts to rush the QB now and then.
  22. by beating the Bucs the WTF no names were, "just trying to make a name for themselves." 😎😁😆😂🤣
