nostril damus predictions for the upcoming season
Walking Tall replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
1- Miller is not walking away from 20 million plus dollars. 2- I believe you are correct. 3- not a huge deal but he will be gone. 4- we will see. 5- No 6- probable but if they do that without a legitimate search that will be a shame. 7- he will ask for a trade and it won’t be granted due to salary cap reasons. 8- TBD -
It’s not about one game to me. I wasn’t complaining about our offense last night. I think they did good overall but the passing game was just OK. When KC shut our running game down better we struggled. This is about very pedestrian efforts through the air against a lot of teams down the stretch. The Chargers, Patriots, Dolphins….all games where our passing game looked mediocre at best. Games they certainly won but eeked them out probably more due to defensive efforts. So I disagree that we wouldn’t have made the playoffs without him. The defense carried the team down the stretch. The Last 7 games, to include the playoffs, the Bills offense scored 57 points.in the second half of games. That’s a three and a half game output of 16.2 points over 60 minutes. That simply is not good enough. At the very least that shouldn’t secure Joe Brady the job of being this teams offensive coordinator without competition.

He took over mid-season and basically had to run Dorsey’s offense. Our passing game really never got on track under him. Was Dorsey’s offense the reason? Was it the lack of play-making wide receivers (then why fire Dorsey) Was it something else? The Bills, with Josh Allen as their QB, need to be an offense that you expect to put up 30 points a game. The Bills struggled to do that way too often. Tight games against inferior opponents. Even during the winning streak. Brady may be the answer. I just don’t know. What I do know is I would search high and low for any and all offensive minds that are available and I’d get on this ASAP. As in today. You can’t wait around for a week or two because other teams are looking. The Bills can’t screw around with this and not look to see if there are better options. Like I said, Brady may be the guy that gets the job anyway but it certainly shouldn’t be by default. If it is, that is our first mistake in what is now our off-season.

How about the D-line? 1 sack in two playoff games
Walking Tall replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
And, yet, we still win this game if we had receivers that could catch a football. Even with those ineffective d-linemen. With a healthier defensive back 7, I’ll take my chances with McDermott calling the defense. GIVE ME SOME WIDE RECEIVERS. -

The Bills, and their wide receivers, drop another one. -
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Season Finale Edition

I mean, I don’t disagree with you but, like I said, the training staff was getting kudos for the lack of injuries a couple years ago. -
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Season Finale Edition
Walking Tall replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Something I was thinking about earlier this week. 2 seasons ago the Bills training staff was lauded for being superior as the Bills hardly had any injury issues all year. The past two seasons have been vastly different. So should the Bills training staff be under fire for the injury issues or are injuries just a crap shoot and the praise the staff received a couple years ago was unjustified as it’s all luck anyway? -
This team is far from a mess heading into next season. They will be solid and with the right additions and players returning from injury we will be better.

Unless he likes it here and we give him a fair offer. Why wouldn’t that happen?

How about the D-line? 1 sack in two playoff games
Walking Tall replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
The most disappointing unit for the Bills tonight was the d-line. When you consider the resources spent on this group it is even worse. Nobody made a difference. -
In a night we are all pissed I have to tip my hat to him. This guy can play the game of football and was a bright spot for the Bills whenever he saw the field. The guy runs angry and can catch the football when it’s thrown his way. I’m not sure of his contract status but I hope the Bills can keep him. You win games with players like him.

Right, but the chances also would have been better. Damar Hamlin?

The 2nd and 9 endzone shot to Shakir
Walking Tall replied to ChrisWatson#21's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it’s funny that people blame Josh for trying to hit an open receiver in the endzone. You score when you can. There are things called fumbles, interceptions and other bad things that can happen during a drive (sacks, penalties….). Scoring a TD is never a guarantee and it’s amazing that people think it is. -
Really, you can stop at any time. I didn’t realize you were a Chiefs fan. Go to their board so you can celebrate.
-
Why the ***** would you post that ass clowns social media to these boards?
-
We see an opposing kicker make a game tying FG from 59 yards in a driving rain storm and this turd can’t make a 40 something yard kick when it matters most. I wish I never had to see him in a Bills uniform again.
-
I don’t know but you do realize that there is a salary cap and cutting Diggs and Miller would mean a very large cap hit (not just their yearly salary) would have to be overcome.
-
Then do it with Josh Allen….not Damar Hamlin.

Because cutting them will mean we ultimately have to cut some other players we may not want to.

I just read that the Chiefs only had to punt 4 times in their 3 playoff wins against the Bills. That is clear coaching dominance of Reid over McDermott.
-
We will win a Super Bowl here with Josh Allen…

One of the damned dumbest posts in internet history. Congratulations, Junior. -
You see a guy open in the endzone you take it. End of story. You score when you can. Fumbles and interceptions happen. Shakir was open. Allen got hit on his delivery.
