No, winning your division should always hold more water than a wildcard team, no matter their records. If you want to have the team with the best record always play host then just eliminate the divisions and play every team in your conference once and play 2 out of conference games. (As @ColoradoBills stated above)

With the way QB’s have become available the past couple years, doubling down and paying top dollar for mediocrity should not have been the alternative.

Just stupid. Leave it the way it is. Strength of schedule comes into play and there is no fair way to figure that in.

I don’t know if it was they wanted to go in a different direction as much as it was a cost savings measure at a position where a lot of money is already tied up. Morris was a pretty good 3rd TE that I’m sure the Bills were happy with.

The only thing that makes me a little skeptical about this schedule is the week of their bye. They play on Monday Night then basically just have 5 days off before starting up a new “work week”. I wonder if the CBA calls for a full 7 days off for a bye week? Plus, that Falcons game, if it is indeed a Monday Night game, would be October 13th….not the 12th like it is listed as. I honestly don’t know.

I will say this about a Ravens week 1 matchup…I’m glad the Bills won’t be playing the Thursday after because they’ll need all week to heal up with how physical Baltimore is on offense.

As I’ve always said, you can’t base strength of schedule until the year has been played out. Basing it off results from a year before is useless.
