Game week thread - Buccaneers at Bills
Walking Tall replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
But how would they know a decision has been made? Don't the Bills have until tomorrow afternoon to put Davis on the active roster? Or have they already announced he won’t be? I’ll give you three sentences. 1-Gabe has shown he can at least get behind the secondary and haul In long TD’s. 2-Nobody else in our roster has shown that ability. 3-Since nobody on this active roster has shown that ability in a Bills uniform, why not dress Gabe and see if he is once again able to offer that for this offense? -
If you’re that offended why do you continue to follow the NFL?

If that Slapnuts guy is correct then Davis “had a setback”. Does that mean injury? -

OK. And Keon Coleman had 8 catches for over 100 yards in the first game of the season. No offense but it takes more than 2 catches or a good game. Outside of Shakir, these wide receivers have shown nothing. -

Palmer had 14 catches for 200 something yards. Don’t look for much impact coming from him. -
I have to believe that if Chris Grier went to his owner with the possibility of a Waddle trade to Buffalo, and that was the reason Grier and the Dolphins parted ways, Beane would have known about that immediately.

Nothing like going heavy when you have an awesome QB! Not disagreeing with you, OP, but it’s a damned shame what they have turned this offense into when they have Josh Allen as their QB.

Do you think the Chiefs would beat the Patriots as a 7th seed?

Patriots are right where the Bills were when we made it to the AFC title game the first time. Their window is just starting to open. -
Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)

Hardman is only 27 years old. Seems like he should be 30 or older. I wonder if he’s related to Tremaine Edmunds, who is currently only 16 years old. -

So is Landon Jackson done for the year?

I’d rather have selected a punter. -
I’m pretty sure it was just for this weekend and next weekend especially. though the NFL celebrates “Salute to Service” the whole month of November, which I enjoy seeing.

Coach was asked about the passing offense being ineffective and he said it would be nice to be effective but it will basically only be effective when working in concert with the running game. I strongly disagree with that statement as a whole, but agree that’s what we need RIGHT NOW because of front office neglect. Yes, we all want a good ground game. And we have a very good ground game when Cook is on the field. But a good ground game, IMO, is easier to shut down than a good pass game is, which we don’t have right now. At least a good passing game when the ground game isn’t effective. Just a few years back, the perfect game followed up by the 13 seconds game, the Bills passing game was humming and the offense, with a pretty mediocre ground game, was basically as unstoppable as an offense can be. The Bills neglecting our superstar QB and forgetting how we became a contending team is why we are in this mess, at least on offense. A tight end heavy offense shouldn’t be a staple when you have Josh ***** Allen as your QB.
