Injuries to starters this Sunday
Walking Tall replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are NOT enough guys to do this. My god.....it has NEVER happened. Even in the Bills hay day, they rested a handful of guys and that was it because there are not enough players on an active roster to rest 22 players. -
Injuries to starters this Sunday
Walking Tall replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, there isn't. At all. Why don't you list for me every player, and the positions they will play throughout the game, and do not include any starters in it. Don't forget to include Special Teams, Nickle and Dime packages, Short yardage formations, etc, and, like I said, include substitution for tired players. Simply put, it can't be done. To even insinuate that no starters should play is ignorant to what goes during the game. -

There aren't enough players on the team to bench every starter. You know that, right? Not to mention, players get tired and substitute packages. -
Channel 4 (WIVB) replaying 1991 Raider WC Game.
Walking Tall replied to Bob Lamb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right. I mean, losing 48-3 is totally respectable. Losing 51-3 is an embarrassment. -
Happy Holidays to all!!!

Merry Christmas to all! -
A guy has a bad game and he’s overrated. Par for the course. Newsflash.....there are 31 NFL teams out there that would be more than willling to take that overrated player off our hands.

Jim Kelly retirement newscasts - 1997
Walking Tall replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remember Jim Schoenfeld hugging Rick Azar and they were both crying after he was traded to the RedWings. That was tough to watch. -
Buffalo Bills History Question

I believe it does if I am taking the context right. -
Rumor Roethlisberger done with Football

Right! Because they will no longer play with a QB in the lineup! Remember when we traded Reed after Kelly left? Same thing. -
Edelman admits faking head injury in Bills game
Walking Tall replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no problem with him faking an injury to draw a penalty. Still, I hate the guy. -

Josh Allen - week SIXTEEN report card

c- because I believe he is capable of better and we will see better in the future. -
The funny thing is I don’t think the Bills were conservative on offense. I liked their game plan and they should have had at least 24 points, if not 28, yesterday. Player mistakes, not coaching, is why they ended up with only 17. Now, the surprise. The Bills played way too conservatively on defense yesterday. They gave Tom Brady way too much respect. He can’t handle the blitz like he once was able to. The Bills rushed 4, gave him all day, and he probably had one of his best games of the year. A conservative game plan on defense and some missed plays by the players on offense cost us big time yesterday. Whatever the case may be I still believe the Bills are the better team and if they played again next Sunday I’d expect the Bills to come out with the win.

Jerry Sullivan-- Voice of Reason
Walking Tall replied to Casey D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually agree and disagree with Sullivan. Agree that the Bills are about to replace the Patriots as the best team in the division. Disagree that the Bills played with no fear of the Patriots. I believe they played way too timid and that is why I am pissed....because I truly believe we can whip that teams ass if, particularly, the defense played their game. -
Do we rest the starters next week?
Walking Tall replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d like to see Yeldon get 15-20 carries. He could be useful in two weeks. -
The defense, IMO, was the reason for this loss. They played way too conservative. Tom Brady doesn’t beat the blitz like he used to. The Bills, instead of making the 40 something year old guy move around and feel uncomfortable, gave him all day to throw and he found the open guy the majority of the time. Then, our tackling was awful. The Bills didn’t lose to the Patriots....the Bills beat themselves by playing scared football. That isn’t the defense I know.

Welp, it’s time for the offseason and mock drafts
Walking Tall replied to jimmy10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, this loss sucks but mostly because I still believe we have the better team. I’m looking forward to the next few weeks. I hope we get another shot at the Patriots. -
Brian Daboll has no future here
Walking Tall replied to Tesla03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, if Josh hits Knox those two times and the Bills end up with 28 points on the board, how do you feel then? -
Josh makes hard throws, misses easy ones
Walking Tall replied to Rockee96's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are a genius, aren’t you? -
He’s a rookie. Ups and downs. I’ll trust the coaching staff on where he should or shouldn’t be playing.

The Bills just played way too tight today. They didn’t bring any heat on the 40 something year old QB that no longer beats the blitz the way he used to. Very disappointed in that defensive effort today. Josh was up and down and made some impressive throws but missed Knox twice for 6. Those are killers.
